Amazing butchers. I bought a Rib of Beef for Christmas dinner and it was fantastic. Top quality. I was able to pre order and collect at a convenient time. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again

Went for the first time today. I asked for steak and went with their recommendation. I was expecting better than the supermarket but wow. You can really tell the difference. My partner isn't hugely into steak, this is the first one I've ever seen her finish that wasn't in a steakhouse. Other than the produce the staff were super helpful. Would definitely recommend. It seems to cost more than the supermarket but then it would for quality wouldn't it. Plus we've been getting the premium quality steaks at the supermarket and yet my partner never finished any of them. Really looking forward to trying their other offerings.

This place is incredible. I haven't looked back since I started buying here quite recently. The meat is wonderful quality and always cooks like a dream. Lovely place and worth travelling to in order to get real meat. The fact this is Charlotte's only adds to the magic for me.

Charlotte's is a little gem on the back streets, we first heard of her on "Sunday Brunch" and after her 30 day aged steak burgers stole the show, we had to find her, the following weekend we did and added plenty more to the basket, we have sampled many more meats and specials since then, it's just top quality and great flavour at a fair price, a local business using local produce and great knowledgeable staff, a win win! You will not be disappointed. The black pudding is amazing! So is the....... and the...............!

Mmmmmmm fab butchers my brand new find bought a huge pork joint and it was fabulous . Cooked well crackling was perfect and the meat tender. Taste was spot on . Will return for more . The lamb sausage was beautiful too .

Best Butchers! Great Meat And Great Service! Ordered Rolled and Boned Sirloin Beef Joint and whilst packing it mentioned that it was for a meal with my in-laws and that my Father in Law liked it well done. The chap serving me said that I should buy Top Side as the benefit of the sirloin is all lost when the joint is cooked to well done. He said I was better off buying Top Side as it was nearly half the price and when cooked well done was just as good as the sirloin, he said that otherwise I was just wasting money buying an expensive joint and then cooking all the benefit out of the sirloin. I agreed and he then had to unpack go out back, make up / prepare the topside and I paid £34 rather than £58; and the meat was very very good!

My wife and I get a weekly delivery from Charlotte.Unbeatable quality at very reasonable prices.Their Chicken is miles better than supermarket chicken.Their steak is also really good. My personal favourite is Ribeye steak which,in my opinion is the best I have ever had

Dropped in to Charlotte's for the first time as we fancied a couple of fillet steaks for dinner. I've got to say the meat was excellent and actually very reasonable when you consider the quality. Social distancing in full effect too which was good to see.

Phoned up at 7.45am and asked for a couple of Ribeye steaks, was told they'd be ready at 3.30pm. Popped in and they were all cut and packaged. Got home, cooked them and they were nothing short of incredible. Best steak I've ever had. Thank you so much, will be back soon for more!

Stunning produce, fantastic service and happy to help. I always buy meat from a butchery and have had a few “go to” places over the years including some very highly regarded Northumberland butchers but after just two visits to charlottes I think I’ve found my sole supplier.
