Well talk about a hidden gem. Stopped for a bacon sandwich and a coffee. The bacon sandwich was cooked to perfection. The side salad was also a mixture of lovely leafs, tomatoes and onions. I also grabbed a freshly made chocolate brownie for my other half! I highly recommend this place. Friendly and nice atmosphere too.

Local farm shop, rustic, with an indoor/outdoor cafe area. Lovely stop off and the food was nice. Big heater in the seating area keeps you warm. Staff are pleasant and polite. Afternoon tea was nice just missed a ham sandwich. ;-)

Really sweet Shop to visit. Has a bit of everything...... crafts, meat and veg and the homemade pies, deserts, fresh and frozen, are so tempting. Flowers, plants and chickens and turkeys in a field. Not to mention, the very helpful, happy and attentive lady who looked after us. We also enjoyed the cattle in the field.

I really liked the place. Peaceful and quiet location. Not over commercialised as so many other places are. A very nice midday meal with good size and selection. Friendly staff about to help you and value for money. Plenty of parking as well. I'm going back. Hopefully soon.

This business has supported us in all the lockdowns and have let my children visit the animals to help fulfil the farm experience. The staff can't help enough and always so kind. The food is fresh, top quality and drinks are always spot on. Takeaway food is piping hot and hits the spot! I turned up minutes before they closed as I hadn't looked up their closing times, but was still welcomed and looked after by lovely, happy and friendly staff who insisted I was welcome to stay and have a cup of tea even though they were meant to be closing. Wonderful rural location.

For the top quality of plants, I still use Elaine's Plants. You cant go wrong with Elaine's plants they really are a lovely quality every single time I buy them and I wouldn't go anywhere else, in fact I told her that she's too cheap 😂

Love this little shop, the staff are very friendly and the bacon rolls are to die for. From old fashioned sweets to Meats and crafts... it's like a DR who's tardis or a Mary Poppins handbag... I dont know how they fit everything in such a small shop, but I can tell you it's very magical.

I went on a scrapbooking course. It was excellent and really good value for money. The cafe was very busy and everyone seemed happy with what they had to eat. Very courteous staff. I had one of the best bowls of soup I've ever eaten. Not expensive. Damned good though.

Love this little shop and cafe! I attended one of the social days on a Friday, lovely place to switch off and socialise. The chickens out the back are so cute and Violet the turkey is a character! Worth a ride out for a slice of cake and tea.

This place is very small with around 4-5 tables (you will usually find at least 2 tables out of service due to them being covered in random 'stuff' - balls of wool, bits of wood and other bits and bobs. Lovely staff, with a limited menu; sandwiches, jacket potatoes, things on toast and the like - not bad for a quick, basic lunch. This place is never busy yet the wait for food and drinks is always excessive. There always seems to be effort made to get things right, but too many times the food has been wrong or cold or something not quite right. It shouldn't be difficult to get the most simple of foods correct - especially when there's either a few or no other customers. We, as a family, have given this place so many chances, as we like to support independent businesses, but time after time the experience is so disappointing. So sorry to say we have finally drawn a line on visiting Scotch Lodge. Such a shame as this could be a good café/shop.
