Reviews of Groveland Farm Shop
N. W.
Needed somewhere to sit and work from whilst the dogs were being groomed locally, this place was perfect. Whilst I only had a coffee and a diet coke, the food that I saw leave the kitchen and the milkshakes looked amazing. The flat white I did order was good and the staff were very friendly, every customer that left made a point of saying how good the food was. I will return for a breakfast and milk shake very soon!
There is on on site butchers and deli as well as a pet shop and hand car wash too.

Great visit with my friend recently. Lovely area's to sit in, we chose the sunny conservatory that day as not so warm outside in the breeze. Sandwiches nice and lovely fresh tea. Definitely returning soon
J. B.
Bit of a confusing place. Veg not very fresh and some wilting. Mish mash of items for sale and felt as if being watched all the time by staff. Not very welcoming and prices a bit too expensive compared to other farm shops we have visited. All in all a bit disappointed.😏
L. W.
Excellent meals apart from the cheap fluffy sausages which in my opinion spoil the meal I'd pay more for decent butchers sausages
S. J.
Great butchers here sausages and steak are beautiful, great place. Garden centre farm shop and cafe, and a well stocked pet shop which sells raw food too.
L. T.
Lovely lunch - great food and the young lady who served us was lovely too - very friendly and efficient - a real pleasure.

Stopped here on the way to Cromer, had coffee and toilet break. Very busy place. Loads of people eating, order at the counter and given a number and they deliver to the table.

Lovely friendly staff. Food was gorgeous. We will return. Thankyou

This place is now bright and somewhere lovely to stop for a coffee or something to eat. Great homemade cakes and scones. Lovely staff. Would highly recommended!

Best steak and ale pie I have had. Absolutely delicious.

Franklin's cafe. Good food, quite busy
Apparently they are not doing cream teas anymore, think it should be taken off the menu then to avoid disappointment. Think they could put up a sign when stuff runs out, such as sausage rolls, like today. People are going to order and be disappointed, it also causes queue issues as they have to rethink their order or go back to their table to ask what they want instead. This is counter service only, no table service, hence the queue. Only one guy working behind the counter, doing a great job, but as every table was then, ge could have done with a bit of assistance.
None of the above comments stop me eating here. They are just suggestions for improvements.

This place is a bit of a rabbit warren. The farm shop was average and some stuff expensive. Wouldn't go back. Crafts were very woman's institute in style. Garden center may well have been shut. But it was the middle of winter. There are lots of little bits on site. Hair dresser beauty place. Jet car wash. Van rental and an auction house. Didn't try the cafe but it was well supported. Same for the butcher so they could be hidden gems. I expect this is more of a summer tourists place.

Beautiful place to shop for fresh vegetables and also many other extras! Great for coffee and a meal too but the butchery department steals the show his meat is so nice and fresh! And if you order before hand and then pick it up you know tour going to get the!
He does the best sausages in Norfolk!! Don't take my word for it try them yourself! S little pricy but you only get what you pay for!!
They also do a fantastic range of Gluten free foods And cooking ingredients! Well worth taking a look if in Norfolk!
I. O.
Great selection of local produce, very knowledgeable and helpful staff
L. D.
A lovely big store, lots of choice, plenty of fresh fruit and veg, fantastic butchers, gift galore. Lovely polite young man in the till.
More less everything you need. ♠️

Nice spot if you drive a good walk from the nearest village but road paths .

Love the restaurant, even if a little disorganised, had a lovely Sunday Roast. Staff bent over backwards to help with my daughter's dairy intolerance. Also love the garden centre and yet again left with a large box of plants! Fruit and veg. Is a little expensive but nevertheless we always enjoy our visits here!
J. V.
Very good. Lots of farm produce and unusual oils, chutneys and condiments.
L. H.
A good quality range of fresh fruit and veg, also tasty cakes, bread etc. I am especially grateful to Mina and her assistant who helped me today with getting essential groceries while in lockdown, I ordered and paid on the phone, drove to Groveland and waited for them to bring my goods out to my car, they put them in the boot so I didn't have to get out. A great idea.

Went today, young staff were brilliant and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming with constant smiley faces unlike the older members (apart from the tall butcher) who were mostly abrupt with miserable faces and obviously didn't want to be there, they need lessons on customer interaction from the younger members. Prices far to expensive even for a farm shop. The set up is good and the place is tidy it's a pity the staff let it down.
Won't be back.
A. H.
Excellent stop off for meat, veg, and plants with a good selection of rose bushes. Best of all the restaurant serves delicious home made dishes. You can also get made to measure garden sheds and a car repair!
A. J.
Friendly helpful butcher. Good selection of meat. Fresh fruit and vegetable all looked really nice. Reasonable pricing. Good selection of goods. We'll laid out and Covid aware.

Pleasant, food regular but pot of tea gives 3 cups. Stopped off on day out visiting tourist attractions. Bought a Christmas gift at craft shop & looked around garden centre, a simple basic variety but was a nice store with a good gentleman running it.
T. K.
Love this place. Good veg cheap is not the same as cheap veg and this has good veg cheap. Great butchers too.
Nice staff, local produce, great cheese, Ecover refill. A regular shop here saves money, keeps the family healthy and gives me a (slightly smug) eco glow. 😁
H. K.
Great little find. We were staying on a campsite nearby. Loved the fresh bread, eggs and meat was lovely! The butcher was super helpful and made us a bbq pack last minute! Great service x
W.
Love the local produce and the quirky variety of goods. A good place to find an unusual gift. Prices are average despite the good quality and a cup of tea & a bun is available on site.
M. M. P.
I bought eggs and few vegetables from this shop. It is stock up well a part from left side of the shop as you come in where the cheese and meat products suppose to be. Every time I came it was almost empty there which makes you wonder why they even have that section still, if not used properly.

A hidden gem! My first visit to Grovelands and I was well impressed, a countryfied version of a John Lewis!
Lovely shop staff, attentive, courteous and welcoming. A surprising range of quality merchandise from sweets and confectionery, fresh fruit and vegetable, quality wine selection, pet department, small garden centre, local innovative artists masterpieces, and lots more.
Then there's the restaurant which I'm told is also extremely good.
Pricing is reasonably competitive rather than cheap.
A really positive experience if you want to sample a true Norfolk country farm shop and restaurant.
They even have a first rate Car Valet service on the doorstep so its possible to browse the extensive range of shops, have a tasty meal and refreshments while your motor is getting the once over....what's not to like? Highly recommended.

Very pretty place but expensive. They state the bread is freshly made but it really wasn't, it was quite chewy on the crusts, and if you have false teeth, forget the beef sarnie, it was a nightmare, £20 for 2 sarnies, tea and coffee 🙄
A. Y.
Very helpful and pleasant staff. Well stocked shop and although I don't use the restaurant it appeared to be very nice too.
Must go again when we are back in Norfolk
K. P.
Nice an friendly, yet to try the produce
D. M.
Wonderful assortment of quality food and a bonus of handmade crafts. Great ace to visit.
J. M.
This shop has easily the strangest range of goods, not bad ones just strange. They go from an organic butchers, to a garden shop, combined with Spanish pottery, cakes, fresh veg, knick-knacks, jams and chutneys, cheeses, chocolates to an eco area. There seems to be something for most people. I have visited the site of Grovelands for various reasons, most recently to visit the shop and the café on site. The food is lovely and offers a range from quick snacks to a full roast dinner and a specials board. Also on site is a car valeting service, which offers several services, and good value.
There is ample parking and during summer months there is usually PYO of soft fruits such as strawberries.
C. H.
Staff are very friendly, some beautiful Christmas things in the garden centre, very good quality fruit and veg. We had a lunch in the restaurant, with excellent service. Would definitely go back.
J. F.
I popped in to have a look around while I was having the car washed. They had a large assortment of deli items and local produce. I bought a jar of Norfolk honey and some ginger wine.
C. F.
Called in late in the day on Sunday so cake options very limited but pleasant service and nice coffee.
G. S.
1st visit.
Fairly Good quality breakfast but £25 for 2 breakfasts & 2 teas bit expensive in my view & will stop us returning.
R. W.

D. H.
