J. H.You just can't beat this place in Oxford. A good old fashioned butchers with the best quality meat around supporting local produce! Top service every time you walk into the door! Unfortunately many people buy their meat from supermarkets now but it's incomparable to the fresh quality meat you get from Alcock Butchers!

My wife and I buy meat from here whenever we pass through Summertown and have previously taken part in the Xmas Eve 0600 collection for the Christmas bird. My son buys meat from here - he's fussy about sourcing. Its a small shop and won't always have the exact thing you want, but get to know them, and they will get it in specially or keep it for you.
