Had the Revills Christmas Lunch yesterday. Food was really lovely. My wife had the sushi starter which had a Salmon based Snowman complete with a carrot nose! A nice quirky touch. The Turkey main course was superb. Turkey was moist and vegatables cooked a treat. All the ingredients are local and you can really tell due to the quality served. Oh, and all served with lashings of rich Christmas gravy. We had two courses but a third was available. We did have the included Sorbet and Cheese Course, followed by Coffee and mince pie. For a small cafe the food is excellent and the Chef prides himself with a quality presentation. Merry Christmas!

A well stocked farm shop, with good quality produce. We stopped in to get lunch in the cafe and were very impressed with the food. The Game Pie and mash in particular was amazingly good - crispy pastry, rich gravy, lots of meat and great flavours plus well trimmed orange and purple carrots, garlic mash and a jug of gravy, wow!
The baked russet apple on crumble was a great pudding too, with meringue pieces, jam and classic hot custard really hit the spot on a cold December day.
We couldn't believe it wasn't busier.

Good coffee, good selection of snacks and cakes. Scones very good. Also do meals, but we were on bikes and did not have a meal.

Brought a cake from here to take for a visit to my friends. When I arrived there I saw that the best before date was 3 days past. Not good
