L. P.Not had the best experience here, Purchased a couple of 'sirloin steak' for £10. Was willing to overlook the size if the quality was good, given the price, but neither delivered in my opinion.
I thought the quality of the meat was more in line with a braising steak. The palm sized steaks purchased where tough and of the wrong consistency to be top serloin, which tends to be a given, as you're asking for serloin and not braising.
You can get half a kilo of braising stake down at Tesco's for £5, so due to the steak size, it was not good value even when comparing to braising steak.
After 24 hours in the bottom of the fridge, it was clear they were not entirely fresh either, and that the product seemed to have spent a few days 'on the counter' before purchase. They had completely oxidised by the time it came to cooking, the next evening.
Sadly, the meat purchased is only good for a very expensive stew at that stage. I ended up replacing it with a supermarket steak product at the last minute, given it was not the intent to serve a chew fest!
Hopefully it will make a good stew, and will take this as an experienced ventured

I got my Christmas beef and ham from there, the Wednesday before Christmas at short notice. They were so friendly and very helpful. Their meat was delicious and I will definitely be using them from now on. Amazing and so friendly
