We visited Circus Zyair here... It was a great show with acrobats, trapeze artists, contortionist and bike jumping, swirling stunts. The lighting was fantastic and really helped to build the atmosphere. The show lasted just over an hour with an interval in the middle. It was a relaxed and sold out fun performance. I brought my 11 year old who really liked the extreme biking finale. We would definitely come again!

Lovely atmosphere for the shows, we saw the circus, but the drinks are on the expensive side and the choices are not that great! It would be good to have more variety. Overall a great day out though!

A little disappointed overall. My husband booked the Silks Restaurant, we couldn't see the track from the restaurant, so had to leave our table to watch each race. The staff were not very attentive, we had to ask for bread rolls, then to place our order, then for water. The main meal was okay, the dessert was good. The dinning room was poor.

Great view of the track if you sit in the seats at the back of the grandstand. Limited food options but all needs catered for. Shame the courtesy bus no longer runs as the walk from the train station is all uphill.

Reasonable entry fee if your over 65 don't pre book as Arc don't offer this concession on line. Plenty of seating beer reasonably priced by today's standards . Getting to and from the track by public transport is a nightmare since ARC stopped the bus from the station Overall a good day of poor grade racing something has to win.

Lovely scenic racecourse with friendly staff and clean facilities. Not very big but on-site car parking and easy access only a about a mile from the city centre. Had a good day out here worth a visit.

Went to Brighton racecourse today Sunday the 1st of may 2022 to the car boot sale their a very large car boot sale with very very many stalls selling almost every thing a place for refreshments toilets before 1030 am it is 2 pound 50p each after 1030am it goes down to 189 pence disabled get in free their is ample parking disabled are allowed to park closer to the boot sale their is parking attendants on site you can buy or sell their would most definitely recommend it to everyone spacaily the car boot sale Inc race days their very helpful staff their is hard ground to walk on or take your elictric disabled wheelchair or scooter for everything mentioned above this is the reason I give it 5 full stars

Went for vaccination, extremely quick and easy. On the NHS website it doesn't specify that there is parking but there is!! It's free but was quite muddy!!

I go to the Racecourse to take the dogs 🐕 for a wonderful walk around a really nice area where they can run off the lead without worry. Always see other people walking the dogs as the area is a popular but quiet area enjoyed by all that go. Obviously there is also the RACES which are very popular with all amenities. A great day out for everyone.

Great atmosphere, great to bring the family. Picnic area great with a great view of the course, may need to bring blanket or chairs as benches are limited.

Went for the car boot sale, seemed like a good place to make some money out of your house clearance. Entry fee was £10, we arrived at 8am. It was a foggy, windy day therefore not as busy as we hoped for. There was a food one selling hot food and drinks, toilet facility right behind it. It is a good pleace to look for cheap furniture, clothes brick a brack, sweets, unusual trinkets... Anything goes really. Recommended for making some extra cash or a morning out flea shopping.

I went to the Covid vaccination centre at the racecourse. It was very efficient, well run by friendly people and a testimony to local NHS community services and volunteers. Far better than some outsourced services I've come across during the pandemic.

It was difficult to reach the Brighton racecourse by bus. Sunday services. It was very windy and cold. However it was a lovely walk back into town on foot. There were a lot of people queueing to get into an antiques fair, but I'm not interested, and try to avoid crowds. I hope they had fun.

As a vaccination centre, the racecourse is surprisingly well run. No endless circling as at The Brighton Centre, with double interviews and lifts up and down. The Racecourse vaccination team are swift, keep to the essentials, chatty if you want to be chatty, and spot you if you're wandering in the wrong direction! Lots of airy space, but they still didn't have their own Covid stats. Can't really blame them but not good to work in a field where you are not given relevant info. The Britain of today...

Absolutely great as ever. Only gripe is that there is no longer a shuttle bus service from train station to the racecourse. Uber invariably on surge pricing when racing on, normal bus service so slow. Brighton racecourse please arrange shuttle buses once more, even if you charge customers. It's supposed to be a Green City!!!

Full appreciate with the covid restrictions that not all facilities will be functioning at full strength but even so the lack of food and drink options was disappointing. This might seem a bit of an odd comment but extremely disappointed with the racecard. Very few pages and pretty much just the runners and riders. No explanations or encouragement for anyone new to the sport to engage with it to any extent.

Great place, clean and well organised during events. Also there is a huge car boot sale there every Sundays. It's fantastic to spend the day with friends or families. Due to current situations pandemic and lock down this place is still shut until further notice. Also it's high hill and you see great view over east Brighton and Marine. Just want to mention something that this place is specially for Horse racing but every year they have different events and activities apart from Horse Racing.

I've been to Brighton racecourse several times, but I' ve never felt as excited as today, even when my horse won at 10/1. It was an amazing experience. As soon as I reached the large entrance, I soon forgot the dreary look of the outside long row of buildings and my apprehension immediately disappeared. A racecourse hall, vast as a football pitch, had been transformed into a spotless and bright hospital ward. Everything was working like a Swiss clock, with several volunteers and, I guess, nurses and doctors ready to help you with a big smile. I was out in half an hour, including 15 minutes rest after the inoculation. I'm now relaxing at home and , so far, I haven't had the slightest side effect

I went here for my Covid vaccination. I thought it was very well managed and run by a team of volunteers and NHS staff. There is plenty of parking and accessability is good. All the areas I saw were clean. I have never been here for horse racing I'm afraid so I can't help you with that 🌻

Took my 88 year old mum to the racecourse for her covid 19 vaccination. It was brilliant mum's mobility is poor, we were able to drive right up to the door. There were lots of Marshall's to help, we were straight in no waiting around. Thanks NHS and a big thank you to all the volunteers 😁

I went to the Brighton Racecourse for my first Covid19 vaccination. It was very well organised with stewards directing the traffic into a designated car park. Helpers inside the directing us to where we needed to book in. Which was followed by people giving the vaccines. Then back out the door to the car park. So it could not go any smoother. Everyone was very helpful & willing to advise you on the procedure.

I've never actually seen racing here. I've just had the second of my Pfizer covid vaccine jabs. As a youth in the 70s I used to come from London to visit grandparents who lived in Whitehawk directly below the racecourse. We used to use cardboard boxes flattened to slide down the hill, what a rush.

Great place to give blood. Plenty of space friendly staff. Toilets available at the end of the long spacious hall. Would recommend giving blood there again. Free parking and plenty of availability means it's easy and hassle free to get to. Bus stops outside and just around the corner for two different routes means getting back to the centre of town or further out is easy.

Used racecourse for P and R Brighton game. Extreme wet night and racecourse did not have sufficient lighting and flooring down for getting from cars to buses and visa versa. On return to car walking through heavy puddles and sodden ground. Poor show.

Enjoyed lunch package in Silks restaurant. £70 for three course meal which was tasty and the table is yours all pm. Everything is set up for easy placing of bets and the balcony outside allows views over the finishing post. A good way to enjoy an introduction to the races. I would have liked somewhere outside the gates to have coffee if arriving early .

A fun day for all ages and certainly worth a visit. I am not a gambler but found it fun to have a few small bets. Lots of seats and tables in the bar which was handy when it rained. We went on a wet summers day but they kept the air con on in the bar, even though we said we were cold and asked if it could be switched off. Plenty of attentive staff, although they were over zealous searching for alcohol in my small hand bag.

The venue itself is looking tired, which is such a shame. Rag n Bone Man was amazing. However, the reason for me wanting to write a review is to give a huge thumbs up to Wendy (staff) who was so amazingly helpful and friendly when we called about queries we had such as parking and times we could access the event. We then quite by chance meet Wendy when we were parking and once again was so brilliant. This lady definitely should be awarded employee of the month. Thank you WENDY for such service.

Went up to the racecourse for the juke box fair. Great to see all of the old juke boxes with a great selection of record dealers and second hand mid century clothes and homewares. Really well stocked bar with live music throughout both days. Nice venue. We walked from the station up steep hills most of the way but a cab will get you there for about a tenner and the bus stops underneath the station and costs a couple of quid each.

An undulating downland track which drains well and is often on the firm side. Free parking alongside the course, a warm welcome and neat facilities packed around the smart grandstand. A great day (or evening) out, and I'll be returning with friends soon! Viewing of all but the last 3f is impossible, and the location lends itself to traffic problems, so leave plenty of time.

The Brighton racecourse day was superbly managed and provided great fun and entertainment. Great day out and easy access from the main marquee to the course of you fancy watching the racing. It’s eighth near the finish line and has the bookies with changing odds at hand.

It's a bit of a maze inside. I feel like it could use a bit of a facelift. The car boot sale is huge! Loads of stalls and well organised. I've been to many Freshers events here and it seems like a TARDIS at times as it's always so full and bustling with stalls etc. The concerts here have been great too

Went there to see Orbital play in their home town at the Racecourse. While the gig was amazing, the organisers, Brighton Racecourse, where a little bit full on with guards and dogs patrolling the grounds during the show. Bit oppressive! Still, great athomsphere and really cool people.

A bit dated when compared to other racecourse. I've been to Goodwood more than Brighton racecourse and whenever I return here I always think the same. Parking isn't the easiest either so it can be easier to take public transport or face a bit of a walk.
