We bought a DS4 performance line + a month ago and are extremely happy it’s an amazing car! I highly recommend DS automobiles as your next car. However unfortunately Tates are not the best at making a customer feel valued and there organisation with paperwork is pretty poor! All in all I would have preferred to purchase from another extremely helpful dealer Barrett’s Canterbury however they didn’t have the model & colour we wanted…

I have a DS4 which I bought through Tates and currently looking at buying a DS7. The Sales Team have been so helpful with it all, they are really friendly. The car is great, really great spec on all of them. I love the DS range. Also the sales team keep in touch throughout to make sure everything is going well with your car after you've bought it. Highly recommend Tates.

I have just collected my pre-owned DS7. The service at Tates was exceptional, easily comparable with that of my previous 'big-brand' German car retailer. Conor was very patient to answer all my questions, both in person and by email, especially as I had gone in several times, and had two test drives before making a decision. Once the decision was made the process was smooth and the information clear. The car itself is very well spec'd and smooth to drive - certainly something different from the plentiful amounts of other premium brand cars out there.

The fact that we have just purchased our fifth new car from James at Tates speaks for itself. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service of all the staff we have had dealings with and it is clear that everyone works as part of the team. Thank you all - hence the 5 stars+. We are now the very happy owners of a new, shiny black D3 crossback. (Not forgetting the maroon roof!) James has been, and is, outstanding in the way he has dealt with us over the years explaining everything in his patient, personal, efficient and genuinely caring manner and following up on any queries or concerns immediately. Nothing is too much trouble and the support is ongoing. Most importantly he has listened to our questions and requirements and done his very best to guide us towards the right car or allay our concerns or fix a problem. This is illustrated by the fact that he has remembered the particular requirements we have expressed over the years and was sure this particular car would tick all our boxes. When we got home from the showroom my husband said “I think we have got the car that’s absolutely perfect for both of us at this stage of our lives.. Thank you so much, James. We are thrilled. The DS cars are a nice vehicle but the two young salesmen obviously didn't want us to buy a new car, as they seemed obsessed with explaining how much our existing car has and will depreciate, especial if we ordered a new car that has to come from the factory that would take many weeks to deliver. Then tried to sell us cars older than we already had, to get an immediate sale not an enjoyable experience.

Very happy that I chose to do go down the DS 7 Crossback route, the DS 7 Prestige is a very luxurious car and easily competes with Audi, BMW and Jaguar’s SUV ranges. Callum was very helpful from start to finish and made the experience very easy. The DS 7 is definitely worth a test drive…

Phanomanal service!!!! Callum, james and the team were extremely helpful once again after swapping my car over over for a ds 3 (abit smaller, perfect for me!) I felt very informed every step of the way on the progress of my car and even in these times I managed to get my car very quickly! Selina rang me to make sure my car was perfect for me and I can honestly say this is the best service I have received from any dealership! DS Brighton gave fantastic service when buying my new DS. Salesman went out of his way and took time to explain everything in detail. I would highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a DS, especially Ashley, he was a superstar!
