Everyone I encountered at MB Bristol was very courteous, friendly and helpful. John, the salesman who dealt with my enquiry was very knowledgeable and efficient. A test drive was arranged with minimal fuss and while we were out in the car John obtained a trade-in price for our BMW. This was my first return here following the purchase of the car last year when the whole experience was very pleasing. On this occasion, however, I was less than happy with the poor attitude of the reception staff on entering the building. The impression was one of being ignored, initially, and then "processed" without a greeting, a smile or some enthusiasm. The gentleman that handled my collection of the car, after servicing, was excellent and must therefore be commended for a completely different attitude, one the reception staff could do well to emulate.

Had to take my car for a 2nd recall recently. They let me use an office space so I could carry on working and offered me free drinks. Great hospitality and they cleaned the car as well to make up for the inconvenience.
Only missed 5 stars because they can't provide a courtesy car with hand controls. It wouldn't cost them that much to buy a set of Lynx hand controls that just bolt in, but hey.
1st recall they agreed to collect and return the car while I worked at home so they proved their commitment to providing a good service.

On several occasions I’ve found the sales staff here to be so rude and pushy - and I’m talking over several years.
Instead of buying from here, I most recently bought from Weston-Super-Mare and happened to mention my experience at Bristol, which I believe is something they hear all too often.
Having said that, the service side of the Bristol branch is brilliant. They’re consistently efficient, and all too keen to help. Such a shame the sales teams let this site down.

At this years MOT my car was diagnosed with sub frame corrosion. I contacted MB Bristol and they checked it, sent the results to MB UK and work to replace it was authorised there and then. It's a known fault, they footed the bill. First class. The car was booked in for two days and the work was carried out. Excellent outcome, very good service.
But, as a 30 year MB driver - and this may just be a sign of the times - every time I've ever had work done at MB the car was cleaned before being handed back. This time is wasn't. Just a little thing but that's what I've come to expect at MB. Perhaps you only get a clean car returned if you get your card out?

I was made welcome and given plenty of coffee during my car’s service, the car was clean when returned to me and I have no complaints about the mechanical servicing. However there remains a number of outstanding problems.
1. When I bought the car three years ago I asked whether the satnav had been updated and was assured it had however it obviously wasn’t and although I complained at each service it was only this last service that I was told the update would cost me £106, which I paid but I wasn’t happy.
2. I asked for a quote for some bodywork and two weeks have gone by and I’ve not heard anything.
3. I asked for an email of the car’s service history and have yet to receive it.
4. My Mercedes me was disconnected by Mercedes two weeks before my service and I asked for it to be reconnected at the car’s service and whilst I have sent two emails chasing it I’ve not heard anything.
I have been going to Sytner for my car servicing for 6 years and I’m disappointed!! I may well go somewhere else when I change my car.

We recently purchased the car(ML) from MB of Bristol with the help of Sahil Rais and Ben. The car was brought over from their other branch. Sahil took care of everything, very informative and communication made buying process very easy. Like to thank Sahil & Ben and front row staff (good team). They are credit to the MB of Bristol.
After a week I had to take the car back to Bristol. Car developed a major fault in the engine. Service dept kept the car for 11 weeks because they could not get hold of the parts. But by now we lost the feeling and interest in the car. We negotiated for different car (GLC) cost us more money. This car also has issues. DAB turner was missing which they fixed. Front driver seat is patched up with some liquid which melted in this heat we had, alloy wheels are different shades colours on two sides. After sales is not good at all. There were lot of frustration moments.

Not sure of the last name of the people i spoke with but Adam and Dave were absolutely incredible.
I had driven from Switzerland and during my trip i had warnings on my E-class display about checking oil. I had the car serviced by Mercedes Benz Schweiz only 4 months ago so assumed they checked everything. In addition the car had hardly been driven. I was kind of worried if my vehicle had a an oil leak or something, and the last thing i wanted was to be have my car towed all the way back to Switzerland. I did not have an appointment and to be fair they were very busy on the day.
Despite this, they were able to help me on the fly, given how busy they were... I even think the employee was on lunch and he came out to inspect everything. I must say, the knowledge that Adam had was very impressive. He really took the time to explain everything and in such detail.
I was extremely happy with the service I received, having spoken to 4 Mercedes Benz dealers over the last couple of months this site was by far the best!
These two guys are a credit to Mercedes Benz, please pass on my appreciation.

Always dreamed of owning an AMG.. And thanks to Ben Taylor and Simon King this was made possible. Once ordered i was well looked after and kept up to date pretty much every week. The car was delivered bang on time and all went super smooth. The car was in absolute pucker condition when i picked it up as the pictures shown. i still have the same smile on my face since picking the car up 3 days ago. They say money can't buy happiness well those people are wrong. because owning this little pocket rocket AMG is absolutely phenomenal and a massive head turner. if you every need any sort of car at Mercedes Benz Bristol make sure when you go to the desk Ask for Ben And Simon and you'll be well looked after. My AMG was in for a service and following a 10 mile test drive by the dealership, it has been returned with a loud rattle (almost a banging sound) in the middle of the dashboard. It was not there before the service and is making the car irritating to the point of being un-drivable. Because there is no way of proving this is not a coincidence, I was told I am going to be charged £!74 for the first 1 hour to investigate the rattle. I did find the handover staff were really good to deal with, top marks for them, communication throughout was very good, but disappointed by the overall experience due to the car issues. Surely a test drive would have picked this up if it had been there from the start. Drop off and pick up was well handled and courtesy car was clean and of high quality.

The service I received from Ian Taviner was superb from the start to the end. 5 Star service. The car was delivered to my home address and I was told I'll have car at 9am but the car arrived 10 minutes earlier and I received phone call from the driver in advance about 30 minutes before by the driver. The driver Mathew who delivered my car was real gentle man. He gave us all the information we needed. He was very pleasant.

I am writing to praise two individuals in this dealership and I do not normally write reviews. In fact, I asked for both the names of the two individuals to intentionally write a review. Mr Omid Namazi (breakdown department) and Mrs Molly (sales person). Omid was an absolute delight and a gentleman with an exceptional customer facing attitude (no exaggeration at all). His respect towards me was extraordinary and patiently dealing with my queries over and over. In fact, every time I go to the dealership for any issues I ask for Omid first and if he is not around I ask other guys to deal with issues. If you happen to go there do the same and ask for Omid you will see what i mean.
Molly was very gentle and polite when i decided to purchase my vehicle. Not pushy and very respectful and honest. I like that when purchasing products as opposed to be pushed around and essentially con you when selling. Well done Molly. Keep it up.

Bonnet had far too many (big) stone chip missed by prep team, were spotted on collection day although touch up was done but not adequate due to lack of time. Usually rigorous inspection by Sytner Mercedes should have fixed this prior to collection don’t know what happened there thus 3 star otherwise it’s 5 on 5 no doubt.

Took my car in for the 3rd service and it’s MOT, on a Monday morning- thought nothing of it got into hire car which was a decent car seen as mine is an AMG.
Then to my surprise I had a phone call earlier than anticipated and I thought my car was done and I could come and collect - but oh no 🙉 news no one wants to hear, that a Mercedes driver had reversed another car into mine. Patrice who was so apologetic on the phone but as this car is my baby and bright yellow, I wondered how someone could accidentally hit it. Patrice asked me if I would like to look at the damage before they sent it off to be fixed. I of course said yes, Patrice was ready with all the info I need when I got there. I was mortified at the damage someone had done to my car. Patrice told me that this would be fixed whilst I was away on holiday and it would be ready when I got back. I asked how it was being fixed and he said it was agreed by his manager that it would be filled and colour matched. I was not happy with this as the damage was to the rear bumper and it was in pristine condition when I bought it into Mercedes, I told him I wanted to speak to the manager as I wanted it fixed properly and to Mercedes standard and he said it would be. The manager had left for the day so I asked Patrice to speak to him and I wanted a new number plus new parts of everything else that was broken. The following day Patrice phoned me and said that this would all happen. Patrice kept me informed of what what happening whilst I was on holiday. I had a email the day before I came home to say my car was ready. I thought great I get my car back all new and repaired.
On the morning I was back from holiday I called Patrice and thanked him for sorting everything to my satisfaction and told him I would be in to pick it up at lunchtime. Dutifully up I went, signed in the hire car and got my keys before checking my car. Again I was disappointed in Mercedes as a broken part had been put back on my car so I rejected the repair; one wonders how many people just take their cars and not notice. Not me, I again was not a happy customer 😡
Patrice again had to apologise to me and signed the hire car back out to me and said that he would get it fixed. He would personally take the car and collect it from whoever fixes them. He would ensure that then next time he calls me it would be fixed correctly. Mercedes had my car 12 days for a service and MOT. The attitude and helpful and caring way of Patrice did help the situation for me but believe me I was so cross that my car had been hit in the first place let alone was just going to be filled in and not replaced, then to find they still bodged it up. My faith in the Mercedes service team (Patrice) is still in tact. But my faith in the manager who just wanted a quick cheap fix and the staff who repair the damaged caused is seriously in question. Mercedes say they treat customers as family well I am not impressed.
Believe me a a loyal Mercedes customer my patience has seriously been questioned.
The 5* is for the way Patrice handled the situation not for Mercedes in general.

I purchased an e class coupe in Feb 2019.
The sale process was simple and easy.
I purchased the car on the day I saw it in person.
I wasn't very happy that I had to wait there for almost 8 hours for the car to be ready to be picked up, however James Fisher the sales executive did all he could on the day to keep me informed and the communication was great while I was waiting On the day.
The communication was very poor by the sales executive regarding my concerns after I had purchased the car.
I had to chase him up majority of the times.
I had a few issues as the the front bumper was not installed properly and few other minor things.
On the day of purchase the manager incharge Tahir Basharat gave me his car to visit the local area which was very kind of him. He also gave me his personal email address and told me if I have any issues then to contact him.
I must say he never replied to a single email of mine or called me back. He didn't keep his word at all.
Finally to resolve all my issues Daniel Hopkins the sales manager got in touch with me and got everything sorted for me. I was given a loan car and my car was delivered back to me from Bristol to London.
There were times when I was left with no communication but since Daniel reassured me that he will get everything sorted he kept his word and delivered.
I'm giving 5 stars just for the excellent service Daniel provided and kept me informed as it was him which helped me to restore my trust in the mercedes brand.

My recent after sales experience matched the previous excellent customer care I received from the sales department.
Booking my car in for a service couldn't have been simpler thanks to a very efficient booking in process where the car is dropped off in to a well marked service reception area with no need to hunt for a parking space. Just a case of handing the keys to a technician before being escorted a few paces to the service department. The service receptionist acknowledged me straight away and joined me a few minutes later to confirm the servicing requirements.
The service receptionist was very professional and when I asked about a folding roof feature, the service manager was only too pleased to assist. He took time to understand my question and followed up with an e mail and phone call after contacting Mercedes as promised.
Overall, I was very impressed with the dealership and especially with the service receptionist and manager who were very customer focussed.

What a fabulous experience. We couldn’t have found our dream car without the expertise and patience of John parsons. We had no clue what we were looking for and went over a lot of vehicles. Nothing was to much trouble and was always very quick responding to our questions. Very smooth handover to collect our new car an it’s everything John promised us it would be.
One thing I will say that let the car down was they have used silver screws to put the number plates on which I noticed straight away and will now be looking to replace the number plates myself. This is no reflection on John but to Mercedes themselves.

On a last minute punt, I contacted Mercedes of Bristol to arrange a test drive after being hugely let down by my local dealership in Plymouth.
On arrival after a 2 hour drive, it was great to be helped by Jo and the other members of the team. The hand over for the test drive was seamless and Jo couldn't have been more helpful with her approach.
We have decided not to get the particular car we test drove but should we be looking for another Mercedes in the future, we will bypass Plymouth all together and head straight to Bristol.

I wrote the review below a few months ago following the excellent service I received from Mercedes-Benz Bristol after picking up my new car. At that time I couldn’t comment on the service from the Service Department, however, recently a warning light for the left dipped beam came on and needed looking at. When I booked my car in unfortunately there were no while you wait slots available or courtesy cars for the week I was available so I booked my car in for a whole day and arranged a lift to take me to and from the dealership.
At late notice I lost my lift so when I arrived I asked Craig who looked after me from the Service Department if there was a chance to have a quick look at my car and whether it could be determined if the warning light was a quick fix, but if not I would need to re-think how I get home and back when my car was ready.
While Craig was checking if my car could be looked at quicker than planned I was talking to Ben Taylor who is an absolute Star and always a pleasure to chat to. Craig returned to say my car could be looked at fairly quickly, but would be an hour before being able to run diagnostics on the car. While an hour was fine, Ben without hesitation was more than happy to offer me a set of wheels to save me having to wait at all.
As it turned out I had the car Ben kindly loaned me for less than two hours and only did 8 miles in it as the Service Department managed to look at my car very quickly and fixed the issue in rapid time.
The point being is the overall experience from Mercedes-Benz Bristol, the treatment I received from Craig in the Service Department and Ben in Sales, was really excellent and beyond my expectations when walked into the dealership, I truly appreciate being looked after the way I was – many thanks, exceptional service.
I picked up my new Mercedes last Thursday, my second in eight months, both experiences have been superb. Right from the off through Jules to Sam Rogers I cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received. With my second purchase Sam once again was outstanding, really brilliant, however, due to his leave the arrival and handover was left in the capable hands of Ben Taylor, who I have to say has been a pleasure to deal with in Sam's absence. Ben has kept me informed of the arrival of my new car almost daily, the handover itself was excellent and he has been in touch a couple of times since to make sure all is well with the car - which it is, a truly exceptional car. While waiting for my new car to arrive I purchased a couple of accessories and indeed the service I received from Jack in the Parts Department was also extremely good. I came to get my car serviced here following a recommendation (I have had bad experiences from other dealers around the country) and the service was leagues above the rest. I as able to leave my car and take a courtesy car to visit friends locally (I'm not from Bristol).
From the initial handover to the call at the end, they kept me informed of each step. When they called to say my tyres needed changing they gave me options for replacements but also gave options from other garages which was very good of them.
Overall a really good level of customer service, so much so I had my other Mercedes serviced by them and they kept up the great level of service again.

I have required work on my Mercedes twice in the last few weeks and have been frustrated and very annoyed on both occasion. My case does not concern the people at Cribbs (Craig, Sophie, Taylor and Ben (?)) who were excellent but your booking system and the disconnect between Swindon (useless) and the showroom. On both occasions, the 'on line' booking system/Swindon let me down badly. Whatever the merits of that system, they are hugely outweighed by the inefficiency and incompetence it creates. I will not go into detail now but happy if you wish me to later.

After a truly dreadful experience in Mercedes-Benz Cardiff I came to MB-Bristol a little anxious of what lay in store. However I need not have worried. The whole experience was outstanding from start to finish.
Joe personally took the time to explain everything thoroughly. We started with how the various different purchase options worked allowing me to make the right decision to suit my needs. Joe then searched for several different vehicles with different specifications to make sure I had exactly what I wanted and within my budget. I really got the impression that Joe loves cars and the Mercedes brand. This passion clearly showed when he found the car I eventually purchased. He seemed genuinely excited when it came in on budget.
Once the deal was done Joe passed me over to Adam who talked me through the purchase in more detail. Adam was very quick to reply to my barrage of emails asking many questions about the car and insurance details etc.
On the day of pick up everybody in MB-Bristol were polite and courteous, a million miles away from my experience in MB-Cardiff. Adam took the time to talk me through the paper work one more time and then walked me through the features on the car from start to finish. He made sure I didn't leave without being shown everything.
All in all I cannot fault the service Mercedes-Benz of Bristol provided.
Big thanks to Joe and Adam for walking me through the purchase from start to finish. I will certainly be returning to MB of Bristol for my next Mercedes.

I am impressed by all staff interactions since purchasing my B Class last year. If I have a criticism it is on two counts:-
1. Cost of servicing is astronomical compared to non franchised garages and this variance just cannot be justified.
2. Having paid the extortionate labour costs I was disappointed that the car wasn’t valeted, which has been my experience with all other premium brands.
Nonetheless, the B Class is a world class experience and equal to or better then most of the other premium brand cars I’ve driven over the years.

Based on the experience we had a good one in general.
They had the car for 3 days (which I knew in advance) and as well as the 1st first service and a new grill being fitted, they agreed to replace a couple of other items on warranty (Brill!) We asked well in advance for a loan car and was impressed to get the requested GLC300 (Brill!) which we liked a lot, far far better than the 220 loan we had before.
In terms of value though I think £300+ is expensive for an oil and filter change, and didnt get the valet that I was told we get at each Mercedes service :-( which helps justify the cost.
I paid £500 for the new grille and had to realign the bumper to factory fit gaps myself as it was way out when I received it back, so that was annoying... but the staff are pleasant and am pleased overall.
I love my AMG and wouldnt change it for the world...

There was never any pressure on me to buy, it was instead more that she wanted to satisfy my needs and was genuinely interested in me getting the car that I wanted. MB Bristol look after both my cars due the the excellence of the service department and after sales team. They are AMG specialists and very knowledgeable, especially Greg Maddox.
I actually have to drive past a MB Garage in order to get to MB Bristol (2 hour round trip) but i believe the service and care is worth the extra travel time.
The only complaints i have that are very small are; Sometimes the initial greeting/welcome to the centre can be underwhelming, and the quality of snacks and beverages on offer could be improved.
But pleasantries aside the work is very good and i will continue to use their services.

I approached Mercedes Benz Bristol during the COVID-19 pandemic as I needed to arrange a replacement vehicle due to my other vehicle being handed back on lease. This is the first time I have ever dealt with a Mercedes dealership and I was genuinely impressed. Given the circumstances and the low staff levels they still managed to be communicative and helpful remotely. They quickly responded to my enquiry and did a personal video of the vehicle and answered any questions I had. I was happy with the vehicle so placed a deposit and had the intention of viewing after lock down eased. It became apparent this would not have been anytime soon and I needed my vehicle.
I placed my trust in Mercedes bristol and agreed to buy the car without viewing if they could deliver to my home (otherside of the country). They agreed and did not disappoint, unlike other garages/brands their attention to detail and transparency was great. They gave a further detailed video showing everything the car came with and how to operate. The car for its year and mileage was generally immaculate aside from normal wear and tear. There were a couple of issues that I discovered and pointed out after delivery and the dealer was quick to resolve with me.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend Mercedes Benz Bristol, particularly the used car sales and would like to give a massive thank you to Dan H. This is my first time buying a Mercedes and it certainly now won't be the last.

Superior customer service! Recently dropped my Mercedes GLA into Mercedes-Benz of Bristol for its first service. Immediately directed to the main showroom to go through the details and was asked what my plans were for while the car was being serviced. Offered a courtesy lift over to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway, provided with a hot meal and drinks voucher for John Lewis and when the car was ready I was collected from the original drop off point and taken back to the dealership. So refreshing not to have a pushy sales pitch with Gap insurance and Star guard dominating the proceedings. So I bought both!
My previous experience elsewhere (not Bristol )was that the car was almost secondary to these add on products! Big switch off for me.
Ian has shown excellent care and attention to my needs and made the whole purchase very pleasant and positive.

I Bought a used Mercedes from Bristol a few weeks ago. On the test drive the salesman stated that the car had not been prepared for sale so I was seeing it "before prep". I commented that the interior was a bit untidy and was assured that this would be cleaned before pickup. I decided to purchase the vehicle. On pickup it was plainly obvious that not much attention to detail had been spared over the cleaning of the interior, there was still marks and stains present from the test drive.
I did complain at the time and an apology was offered , along with an offer of a full valet at my convenience.
Its just a real shame that this was not picked up before the car was collected by me and has left me with the impression that if you are a cash buyer then you really are not important as a customer.

I purchased my cla220 shooting brake just a few days ago and what a lovely experience. I had seen the car on the website and phoned to enquire about it and was put through to Tahir. He said the car had just come in and was waiting to be cleaned and prepped but was welcome to come and take a look so booked an appointment and within a cople of hours I was there to take a look and test drive. Tahir was very polite and informative and I didn't get the impression he wasn't taking me seriously like salesman at other deals have (I'm probably not your average Mercedes buyer/owner).
I called the next day to say I would like to buy the car, paid my deposit and Tahir told me the car would be serviced and prepped within 3 days so excitedly went on the Saturday morning to get my new car. Again Tahir was informative and polite and made the whole experience one I won't forget. Any communication was easy and whoever I spoke to on the several phone calls I had was polite and efficient.
Me and my partner are considering getting a second Mercedes early next year and this be be the first place I look. Top marks!!

I purchased a used c63 from them a few weeks ago, which I now my second car that I have bought from this dealership and both times the whole process was very straight forward and stress free.
Before buying the car I did the usually walk around and point out any defects that I wasn't too help with and asked for those bits to be sorted out before collection. Which of course they did.
A couple days after collection I noticed a bit of paint chipped off the door handle and a piece a few inches below on the door which I had missed (being a white car it was quite hard to spot initially) but now I'd seen it, it just stood out So much everytime I went to open the door. So I rang them up and they said bring it back an we'll get it sorted for you. Once they could secure a courtesy car for me( it was a very nice one too I might add) the whole process was done in just 2 days and the car looked perfect.
I could not be happier with the service I was given and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking to buy a Mercedes.

If I have needed a lift they have provided it and any problems with car have been fixed; it even gets washed. Having been in on the Monday to book a test drive for the Wednesday, after previous visits to identify model / type for potential purchase. Agreed a manual / petrol version. Arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early. Got to the appointment time , when informed sales staff out with another client. After another 10 minutes an alternative sales staff was presented and went through all previously discussed details. Then went off to get car for test drive. In meanwhile original staff returned and informed me car / everything was organised and left. 5 minutes later new staff came to tell me that there was only one car on site which was a automatic / diesel!!! Said drive would be similar or I could rearrange to come back again! Having now spent nearly an hour to be told this is unprofessional at the very least. Surely there is a booking system. Very shoddy and obviously not important enough for them as not spending £50k+. Never experienced this in 30+ years of buying cars. Take my custom elsewhere to a dealership that cares.

I was in the market for a new car and having driven Mercedes for 7 years, had already decided on an upgrade. What I hadn't decided was how to go about getting one.
After visiting MB in Cardiff with my partner and seeing a model that we liked, but finding the service apathetic at best, we popped into MB Bristol to see whether they had a similar model available.
After 10 minutes or so of wandering around, Paul Duffy approached us with his friendly smile and asked if we needed help, or did we just want to have a look around. We told him what we might be looking for and with the right balance of proactiveness and laid back-ness, Paul led us through the process of sourcing the exact model we wanted and allowing us to test drive it, valuing my current Mercedes and investigating a finance deal that suited my needs and circumstances (meanwhile, the lovely receptionists kept us comfortable with coffee, biscuits and water!)
At no point did I feel sold to or pressurised to buy a car and in fact, the entire process moved at my pace. Paul let the car sell itself and patiently answered all my questions, allowed us time to sit and talk amongst ourselves privately and yet when I was ready to buy, was on hand to complete the process efficiently.
Four days later, I drove it away and I couldn't be happier.
Buying a new car from Mercedes in Bristol was an extremely positive experience and one I'd recommend, not least because of the exceptional approach of Paul Duffy, who clearly understands people and how to adapt his approach to suit.
I have already decided that my next car will be a Mercedes. What's different this time is that I know exactly how I will go about getting one - I will return to MB Bristol. I just hope they've managed to keep hold of Paul!

Drove up to Mercedes in Bristol after seeing a used B-Class on there website. Once there we couldn’t find the car on the forecourt so proceeded inside, was greeted by reception asked if we’d like a drink and waited for about 5 mins. Dave came over to help us find the vehicle and talk us through it, unfortunately they had sold the car the night before. Dave handled this brilliantly and started looking at other cars for me. He was certain to find me something even better than the car than we missed out on, and did. However the car was in another dealership in Swindon, so we was ready to drive the hour to Swindon to view the vehicle when Dave offered to drive up there and get it for us... I must say I was a little shocked at this, it’s not every day that someone actually goes out of there way to personally help you, even if he did smell a sale, this was a first class approach to customer service. A couple of hours later Dave called to say he was back with the car, so we went back over after lunch to view, test drive, and ultimately purchase the vehicle. He talked us through every single aspect of the vehicle, the process, and everything with a real human element. Especially as my partner was a little nervous, we’re not you “average” Mercedes customers and Dave really helped settle her nerves. The following day, Dave called me once the payment had been received via BACS to collect our new car. Little did I know before hand that Dave changed his day off, to ensure he was in to complete the process, again first class, not only after the evening he had before. Dave if your read this again, thanks for everything. I will be a customer of Mercedes for a long time if the service continues like this. Top marks, highly highly recommend. I have used MB of Bristol for the past 8 years and have always been very satisfied with the standard of service but have occasionally been tempted to try a non franchised garage on the grounds of cost. Thank goodness I didn’t. I have just returned from holiday in Southern Spain where, late on a Friday afternoon the hood on my SLK failed in the semi closed position. I don’t speak Spanish and was desperate. I telephoned MB of Bristol explaining the problem and was immediately reassured when they informed me that as I had always had my car serviced with them I was covered by being a member of the Mercedes Club. Within 40 minutes 2 mechanics arrived from Marbella MB. They diagnosed the problem as a burst hydraulic pipe and recovered the car to Marbella. The necessary spare part was flown from Germany and the car repaired within a couple of days. The car was even returned fully valeted. Fantastic service from Bristol and MB Europe and I will definitely continue to have my car serviced at Bristol. It is well worth paying that little extra for complete peace of mind.

The only negative thing to mention is that they don't have someone who is on service all night to take the cars in and even not a key-box as they have it in Germany. There you can drop off the key in a box (the key slids into a safe) and they can start working very early in the morning already on your car. But everything else: exceptionally friendly. I am writing to thank you for the excellent treatment we received from Mercedes Benz Bristol, especially from Romy Philips and George Hadjukoumi , I visited Mercedes Benz a few times before I made my decision, Romy was always willing to help and was very professional, she also gave us a test drive, which helped me decide what car I wanted. Then the day arrived when I went to finally place an order, at this stage I knew exactly what I wanted, I wanted a used Automatic Black C class AMGline with a premium package. Romy handed us over to George, I explained exactly what I wanted and also explained this was my first time and this was all new to me, instantly he put me at ease, I felt comfortable he took his time explained everything from start to finish, there was no sales pressure at all, after listening to me carefully he went away, and came back with a car that exactly matched my criteria, to top it off, the car would be ready to be picked up less than a week.
I was impressed with Georges honesty, integrity, and straightforward approach to selling a car, I felt like I was speaking to a friend rather than a salesman. I place an order, it felt good as I instantly knew I was dealing with a salesman that knew his products inside and out, and was backed by an organization I could trust.
Throughout the sales process George was very patient, he addressed all questions and concerns in a professional, knowledgeable and non-carsalesman fashion. Throughout that week I was called George a few times, he was always willing to help and answer any questions I had.
When the day arrived to pick my the car, George wasn’t in due to holiday, he handed everything over to Tahir, he was just as professional, he was patient and showed me all the features I needed to know, he also sat with me whilst I drove around the forecourt as I’ve never drove an automatic, he happily answered all my questions.
George gave me courtesy call after a few days to see how I was getting on, which was a nice touch, Choosing the Mercedes C class was one of the best decision I’ve made. I guess my only gripe would be that it is quite difficult to get hold of a representative sometimes.

I've been a few times now to this dealership with issues on my A-Class and each time has been pretty painless. I feared that the dealer would be uber expensive and in the long run it actually cost me more by avioding them for so long. I found the staff, right from the front deesk to be polite, curtious and exceptionally helpful. I had a problem with my ESP light and after going with another company to get it fixed was told I'd have to replace my entire steering column. Mercedes analysed the car for me for free, found the fault to be with the other garage's work who had installed the ESP sensor incorrectly, fitted a new one all for £70 labour. The sensor was worth around £500.
The waiting area is very nice, I loved the coffee and free biscuits and the receptionist kept me informed the whole time and kept filling up my cup. All with a smile.
I see that others have not been quite so lucky as me, but like I said, I've been several times and couldn't really fault them. Extra nice touches are the valet service for free and also charging by the half hour, so if you only need a bulb replacing, the sting isn't so bad.

Then got around to them asking me what I'm there for which I told them my car is in for a service, she said take a seat and didn't ask my reg or name to check the progress of my car.... Sat there for nearly half hour and had to go back and ask reception again what was happening with my car? Which then someone stood next to reception and took my name and pointed me in he right direction, People even seen me sat in reception made eye contact and walked the opposite way and some even walked past me?
