Having recently bought a very rare 2010 Mercedes E500 Cabriolet from Motor Village, I wanted to thank the team for there can do will do attitude. The stock they have there is interesting to say the least, a lot of older very special bordering classic cars, the absolute cherries of their ranges mixed in the same high end newer vehicles. Whoever is doing the buying has great taste. I have always been wary of used car sales having had poor experiences in the past, however you can’t always buy what you want new! The true test of a company is the experience you have when something doesn’t quite go to plan, in our case we got the E500 home to find a engine management light had popped up. This however could not have been anticipated by the sales staff who immediately offered to collect the vehicle repair and return it ( minimum 4 hrs round trip for two staff with an Additional vehicle ). We came however to a practical solution dropping the vehicle into a local Mercedes Specialist who diagnosed an electrical pump had failed in the emissions system presenting a £900 plus bill for repair. One call to the sales team and the bill was paid without quibble. That’s what you call quality service. The car is beautiful, wife is very happy with her new mode of transport. Thanks Motor Village we shall definitely be back in the future.

Many thanks to Zak and team who helped me with the acquisition of a low mileage silver 2006 E class E280 diesel estate, which is driving like a dream after a quick service on the anti-roll bar pins and parking sensors (all done without extra cost, excellent service). I bought my first UK car in here and as you can imagine I was a little bit nervous, not knowing all the procedures and how it worked. Zack has been super helpful finding me a finance after my bank left me stranded with an answer the same day I went to Bristol, an offer with a much higher APR than what Motor Village offered me. The BMW 320d Touring ED was perfect from the start when I drove it back to Reading. Few kinks like a missing spare key had been solved quickly, and while I was driving back I noticed that I had a chip on the windscreen right in front the steering wheel (MOT failure) they first send a technician to try and repair it but he couldn't so they replaced the windscreen. I was interested in a Jeep Cherokee at Motor Village Bristol. Great looking showroom and good variety of cars. Being based in London, the team facilitated a video call to allow me to inspect the car and even highlighted any issues that I should be aware of. Very helpful and not pushy. The team fixed minor issues, picked me up from the train station, added complimentary mats and performed a service, MOT and even added a 3 month warranty. We agreed sale over the phone and I collected the car in person although the team did offer to deliver the car. I'm always worried about buying a second hand car but James, John and Roger at Motor Village Bristol felt like family and were so professional , transparent, friendly and take pride in their work, it made remote buying so easy and pleasant. Excellent, from start to finish. The place is very big and spacious and has a very clean look. The guys here were very friendly (but not pushy), a great feel about the place, the Honda Jazz I was sold has been very well maintained and looked after, they gave me a couple of options on price regarding warranty but again no pressure at all. I fell in love with the car and decided to go ahead and buy her. Unfortunately I had a problem with the power steering however John could not have been more helpful. He provided me with a courtesy car and when the work took longer due to covid restrictions he upgraded the courtesy car. I recently bought my INFINITI FX37S from Motor Village and witnessed a superb level of service never before did I experienced from any other dealer I came across within my decades of motoring spree. Considering the current pandemic and the distance from Leeds to Bristol to travel just to see the car is somewhat a mammoth undertakings to consider. However, this has not been the case as Motor Village made it as easy as closing my eyes. I was treated by the Director to a showroom tour and have been allowed to inspect the car I am buying through virtual means where I was able to satisfy myself looking at every single little elements of the car which was literally down to the smallest screws and bolts - being probably the most meticulous buyer that I am. The Director did essentially everything, from finances, taxation including transfer of my private registration number to the car I bought - That proves how great this dealer is, which I highly recommend and mark six stars instead of five!

Following a bad experience where our car was written off in a collision we found the perfect replacement at Motor Village. We went on spec to view the car on a Sunday but it was being serviced and MOTd however, Allan the Sales Manager, was extremely helpful and took the car off the market for a returnable deposit if we did not like the car. The car was perfect for us and after a fairly lengthy test drive we decided to buy and are so pleased with our purchase. I recently purchased a lovely Mazda 3 from Motor Village and I would like to say I am extremely impressed by the level of service from this company. I did have a few problems with the wing mirror that involved a couple of return visits, and it is often that a company could fall down in its after care but not Motor Village. This proved to me what an excellent service they provide as they didn’t brush me off after the deal was done, and the money banked, quite the opposite. They were quick to sort the problem out, always phoned as promised and did everything to make sure I was 100% happy. This company is a rare example of how service should be and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for a car. I was looking for a pickup at a fair price that could be financed and found it here. The service was brilliant! Honest, open, helpful at every turn. The vehicle was nigh perfectly turned out too with a new service and almost a full year of MOT. I am about as mechanically minded as as an average teaspoon but thankfully my partner was with me and went over it with a fine toothed comb. She used to run a car dealership, be a mechanic and auto-electrician, so she knows her stuff. The only fault she found was a crack in a rear light and when this was mentioned we were told that one will be sent to us asap. Brilliant!!! I have no fears recommending Motor Village Bristol at all. Fantastic, friendly company to deal with and refreshing =) I've recently picked up my new car and what a refreshing experience it was! I was left to browse the car at my own leisure, I wasn't jumped upon nor did I feel pressured in to buying the car... They let the car sell itself! I was then asked if I wanted to go on test drive, handed over my driving license and given a set of plates and again I was left to my leisure to go for a drive (driving a new car is daunting enough, having someone in there you don't know can sometimes add to this). I knew what I wanted and they had exactly that and at a great price too! I called up on the Monday, left a deposit to take it off sale (even came offline on the same day) and travelled from Southampton on the Saturday to test drive and picked up the following weekend. They were more than happy to hold the car for 2 weeks which was great as with work it is difficult to get out during the week. Looking round their site at other cars they had on sale you could really tell that they take pride in their stock and the kind of cars they do sell. Lots of premium brand cars with big specification but all offered at a great price. Great company to do business with and I would have no hesitation in referring anyone reading these reviews to them! Oh and one more thing (probably the most important) I am head over heels in love with my new Volkswagen Scirocco - Thank you!

I have just purchased a cracking Ford Mustang from Allan at Motor Village and I have to say was very impressed with both the vehicle and there service from start to finish. I noticed this car on Autotrader the day before I was due to go on holiday and had no time to view. Allan talked me through the car over the phone and I decided to go for it without viewing or test drive. I was very much in his hands and had to trust him and his description. I had looked over the company website and reviews and I also felt like Allan was a knowledgeable mature motor dealer. The car was made ready whilst I was on holiday and they even delivered it to the airport I was flying into that happened to be fairly near there dealership. Zack gave me a good price for my Micra and sourced a very good, low mileage C4 MPV for my family. On viewing the car, we were given a key and left to inspect car as long as needed. Needed new pads and Zack covered this under the warranty. We love the vehicle and hope it will last us a few years. Would buy again from Motor Village. Worth the trip from south Wales through a very busy Bristol! UPDATE :The brakes fitted by the Halfords centre were incorrectly fitted and producing a howling sound which they denied when I returned to Halfords. Motor village not only rectified the problem, they got behind me to claim against Halfords supplying the necessary reports. I cannot commend Motorvillage Bristol enough. Every member of staff is genuine and friendly. I will certainly return for another vehicle in a few years time !!!

An excellent and very genuine family-run business. They had a particular model available that we had been looking for, but after a two hour drive home the engine ‘emissions’ warning light came on. They told us not to worry and paid for the car to go into our local main dealer to be fixed, but the problem resurfaced again. After sending a driver with a loan car and taking ours back to their own garage (a half-day round trip for them) the problem was diagnosed as the catalyser, which they replaced before delivering it back to us again a few days later. Unfortunately however, the problem persisted and after giving us a loan car again, further attempts were made to fix the problem without success. Rather than prolong the uncertainty, they offered us a full refund or an exchange for a different vehicle from their stock. We chose a refund, which was paid into our account immediately. Allan, Jon, and all their support staff were unfailing supportive and helpful throughout what must have been a trying time for them as much as for us. I cannot recommend Motor Village highly enough, and will have no hesitation in buying from then again.

The Jeep was presented in first class condition and was given a warranty, years MOT and a service prior to collection. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this seller. I have not purchased a second hand car for many years - so was a little nervous. I also had the extra complication of selling my 3 year old Discovery Sport, and living in Devon. I was specifically looking for a Jeep Wrangler TJ. I found one at Motor Village online, but having viewed a few 'lemons' over the months, did not want wasted travel. I spoke to Jon and arranged a click mechanic to inspect. Jon was brilliant and accepted my position - but did advise - it might be better to get a pre MOT report and he could arrange (at a lot less cost). He was right! The click mechanic served its purpose (to an extent) but just did not have the knowledge of the Wrangler. I wish I had taken Jons advice! But based on Jon's comments and the report (which was quite a low score), I still visited and viewed. The vehicle was 'sound' just as Jon had described. I was made to feel welcome and there was no 'pushy' sales patter! I identified a small issue with the seat on the test drive - and the very next day Jon got it fixed, pre sale, in the workshop. My treatment was just honest and professional - I new I was buying an older vehicle and Jon helped me at every stage. Jon also purchased my Land Rover as payment for the Jeep, which meant we had the added complication of Motor village paying me. Once again Jon smoothed this process by setting up the transactions in advance. On the day of collection, we sorted all paperwork online over a coffee in about half and hour - for both vehicles. Jon had payed my money - before we had finished our coffee! As I had a long drive back to Devon, Jon ensured the vehicle was fully checked for tyres etc for the motorway drive. All in all I could not fault any part of this service. If you have found a car you like - at Motor village - my best advice would be go and have a chat, I highly recommend this business. Even if you are doing it at a distance - they will help facilitate a smooth deal. If I could, I would add an additional star for the 'manner' in which the two owners conduct themselves - low key, clam and approachable. Thank you both - the Jeep just makes me grin when I drive it!

Was very clear that it would take a week or so for me to transfer funds so deposit was taken and they were very patient whilst I moved the money in order to collect two weeks later. Collected the car on a Saturday and had a fun 100 mile drive home to find there was a fault with the central locking. They immediately suggested I go to an Alfa specialist and get a quote to fix which we did. The car was fixed and MV settled with my local specialist directly, no fuss, no drama, just courteous and professional treatment. And, Jon at MV even apologised for the inconvenience!!!! I cannot praise Jon and Zak highly enough and suggest it's hard to find such honesty and professionalism these days.
