I recently bought what to me was a dream car. At 24 (23 at the time and looking it ) you don’t really get taken seriously in high end dealerships. It was the exact opposite walking into this stunning new dealership. I was booked in with Neil ( a true credit to the company, one suggestion call him don’t email 😉) . WHAT A PLEASURE it was to be greeted and taken care of by such a genuine bloke, he listened to everything and helped me find the right car, no question was too much and I was not made to feel I was wasting his time and that proved beneficial to him as a couple of weeks later I bit the bullet and went for it and I will be honest the car I bought was by no means the cheapest with cars near identical ( around a £3,000 less ) but the service received reassured me that there is a reason for that price difference.I also went for GAP insurance ( for a cash purchase it makes complete sense ) and the paint protection which does wonders. Due to the cars age sometimes issues arise so I booked the car in to have this looked at. I had a bit of a list to look into and Kiren the chap dealing with my car was more than happy to look into everything. 1 was a sensor issue which unfortunately was not covered under warranty due to it being slightly corroded, understandable but they still treated it and what’s more did not charge me for the diagnostic test, I which I had already factored into my bill so to have this wiped was a great surprise. There was some damage to the under tray, now I understand it takes time to get parts in and organise etc and I explained that I was in need of my Car ASAP due to me having to Uber to work at the cost of £45 a day, they understood and got my car to me as soon as they could ( 2 days after getting it in ) and will rebook me in to get the tray done again free of charge !!! Wow I have never had this level of service from a main dealer much less than a luxury dealership at that !!! I have to say a personal message to Kiren hopefully you see this. You have been the best service member I have ever spoken to and dealt with, any work I require in the future I will be asking for you personally, if you could also email me ( or call if my email isn’t on file ) and let me know you preferred drink is I will leave these on the back seat for you when the car goes back in. Neil I will be calling you next weekend for the same reason ( I apologies for the delay it has been a busy couple of months) I do apologies for the lengthy review but after reading some frankly whiny reviews I feel it to be necessary, yes this is a car dealership for luxury vehicle’s the standards are very high, you are taken care of and treated properly just because they do not roll the red carpet out for your ego does not mean they are sub par. You have a customer for life and if all goes well that will be a long time, my partners next car will be through yourselves and we will continue down that road. Struggle to get through on on the phone always a wait time. Then when you do get through the department your trying to reach is busy so you get cut off! I know its not the staff fault as they are probably under staffed but really poor service from Jaguar as a whole. Working in dealerships before we always aimed to answer a call in 10 seconds and had the staff levels most of the time to fulfil this.

Excellent preparation of my car prior to going into and returning from the service bay in accordance with the new CV-19 risk assessments. The dealership was well laid out, however some visitors were not too aware of their 2m distancing whilst in the marked zone by the service advisor's desks. Perhaps a partition would be helpful? The staff were very helpful and understanding considering the new arrangements we are having to follow. We are all having to make big adjustments. Well done.

Today was the first time I've used Guy Salmon Jag. The Covid measures are really good and I felt that the precautions were focused on the welfare of the staff. Public enter via a one way system and there is hand sanitiser on the desks. When you hand over your keys they are sterilized. Then when thet are handed back there is no contact. Really well done.
With regard to the staff, everyone was friendly, professional and chatty.

They also put in an extra day to get my car a FREE Infotainment System upgrade (enabling Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). The service experience was as good as my experience with the sales team, if not better. Can not get any better than this for sure!! **
Buying a new car is always a big decision. I was leaning towards German cars until I started digging deeper into Customer Service and after-sales support. Guy Salmon Jaguar stands way ahead of the rest in this space.
Right from the minute you walk into the dealership until you drive out in your car, the experience is flawless. Konrad was a great brand ambassador for the dealership. Konrad explained every aspect of the car and purchase in great detail, walked me through the features during the test drive, contacted me on email/voice mail/video message to clarify my queries, kept the car ready for collection exactly on time and when I ended up getting late, accommodated me at the time I requested (worrying all along bird droppings might ruin my immaculately prepped car 😀). Even introduced me to the person in charge of service which is not due for the next two years.

He is the most accommodating, affable and knowledgeable sales person I have ever dealt with, who clearly takes pride in what he does. I can't thank him enough for everything he has done. My reviews of dealerships over the years have not been favourable however I want to change this with immediate effect. I cant speak highly enough of Guy Salmon Bristol. I went in with an issue on Tuesday after a high street tyre company expertly stripped the wheel studs on my F Type. With an urgent long drive ahead of me and only 3 studs holding my wheel on Guy Salmon booked me in immediately and warned me that this could be large job that needed a whole hub replacement. Bracing myself for most of the day I finally found a dealer that does not create the opportunity to make a meal from misfortune... they fixed without costly replacement parts and got me back on the road again after 6 hours without a huge bill. Following my last issue with Inchcape Jaguar York JLR must recognise customer service and engineering knowhow over glamourous showrooms! Keep it up Guy Salmon Bristol... you have restored my faith in honest dealerships and also the Jaguar brand. Thank you.

Following a search of the website and highlighting two cars we liked the look of we set off to Guy Salmon Jaguar Bristol to see them. We spotted the cars on the forecourt and we were shortly introduced to Alvar Lloyd who expertly and confidently guided us through the big decision of choosing the right car. We test drove just one of the cars as it became clear, following Alvars information and spec of the cars, it was likely to be the one for us.
From start to finish Alvar and his colleagues were very helpful polite and made the whole experience a very pleasant one ending in us buying not only a beautiful Jaguar as you would expect but an enjoyable shopping experience!

Bought a used XE from Jaguar having negotiated a very good price
Had some issues with paintwork after I washed the car. Dave Barrett and Lewis Painter couldn’t do enough to help me address the issues. Whilst I’d obviously have preferred not to have the issues you find out about good customer service when things go wrong!
