Invited to visit the dealership. Very impressive building. However the biggest positive would be the attitude of the staff, they were all very friendly and keen to help. It’s clearly a great place to work. Wish my current dealership was like this. Looking forward to buying a new Land Rover soon, I hope. Also great show of old Land Rovers.

From my initial enquiry about booking my vehicle in to collection once the work had been carried out the customer experience was exemplary.
My initial greeting upon arrival was in the drive though which was pleasant and seamless. Once I was in reception Christine Rose made sure I had a hot drink and some biscuits which were very welcome. What a lovely lady, so friendly, welcoming, polite and professional.
Scott in the after sales department kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle at all times, called back when he said he would and ensured that everything that was discussed at the initial booking was carried out to my satisfaction along with some additional work which was carried out after a very detailed and professional video explanation was emailed to me, doesn’t get better than that!
Jack the Parts Supervisor is an expert in his field and made sure that all the required parts to complete the work were in stock and available on time. His enthusiasm, expertise and knowledge is rare these days and very impressive. I also took advantage of the boutique after a great recommendation for some items from Jack!
When I arrived to collect my vehicle it had been cleaned to a very professional standard. All the work was explained by Scott and yet again Christine was on hand with refreshments!
After this Simon Crane, the Head of Business came and spoke to me to make sure that I was completely satisfied with all aspects of my visit which again is very rare these days.
If you have a Jaguar or Land Rover of any description or age and require some routine maintenance or repair the. I would definitely recommend Sytner Jaguar Land Rover Bristol, they are experts in their field and customer service too.
If you do fancy a change of vehicle I cannot think of anywhere better to go than visit Simon Crane and his Team for an unbiased, expert, professional and relaxed consultative approach to your new purchase rather than the cliché high pressure sale!
The new facility is also breathtaking, it feels more like a luxury boutique than a vehicle showroom which certainly makes a refreshing change.

I recently purchased a used Discovery Sport as the PCP deal on my Evoque was coming to an end. I dealt with Marc Cliff who has been brilliant from day one. He went through everything thoroughly at the start and was very open and honest about what I could expect.
Once I had decided on the vehicle and was awaiting collection, I had a number of additional questions that I hadn’t thought to ask at the time. Marc responded promptly to all of them and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Similarly, after i had collected my vehicle I had a few more questions and things that needed sorting and Marc was very helpful and obliging.

I was contacted by Rob towards the end of my PCP deal and wanted to change my car and the finance arrangement to HP. I had seen a car on the Guy Salmon website that I was interested in.

Long story short - serious pain dealing with my insurance company when other driver admitted his error.
This is where Sytner Land Rover Bristol comes in. By pure chance I ended up talking to Mark W in their service dept. I explained the grief I was going through with the insurance company and he said just to give him the driver details and he will take everything over. It was fantastic, I didn’t have to make another call, he sorted it all out and it also meant I was able to stop having to pursue a claim. I dropped the car off and it came back on time the next day with a couple of other unrelated things they were able to fix gratis
Very grateful to Mark and his team. The sales person will get you over the line in buying the product but it’s the after sales support I am always interested in checking as it’s them you end up having to converse with with issues arise. The team here were great

I started looking around for my next vehicle and on my list was a Range Rover. I contacted the Guy Salmon dealership via email to arrange a test drive. Communication was extremely quick and a test drive was arranged. From entering the vast neat clean parking lot to then entering the actual dealership it has been a good experience.
The show room was lovely and clean with a good stock of vehicles to look and sit in.
I was introduced to Benjamin (wants to be called Ben) who took the time to understand what I was looking for and why I had particular models in mind.
The test drive car had come back from another customer dirty so he arranged to have it fully cleaned before we went for the drive. Whilst waiting Ben ensured we were well watered and coffee’d up and encouraged us to go look at and sit in the vehicles in the showroom.
I had made it clear that I was looking at other vehicles. There was never that pressure to buy. I did end up buying a vehicle with Ben, after visiting other show rooms and test driving other vehicles.
Part of the reason for buying was the fantastic service that Ben afforded me during the whole process and I look forward to working with Ben until the vehicle arrives.
My reason for dropping 1 star was when arriving at the reception desk there was no one to greet us and let Ben know we had arrived. We ended up having to hang around until one of the ladies had finished lunch. Eventually there were 3 groups of us waiting to be helped which took about 10 minutes for someone to come across. It was over lunchtime so I would suggest they stagger lunch and always ensure someone is at the reception desk.

A breeze from start to finish!
We went in for a test drive, after booking in online. We had only booked about an hour and they extended it for us when we got there which was great!
They managed to do a fantastic deal for us, along with a great part-exchange on our old car, and worked with us on when we wanted to change over.
Lydia was really tentative to making sure we got everything we wanted and made sure we were always informed of what was going on in the process.
Jamie, John and Jason were all really great in getting us a better deal and helping me with the new signature sign off online.

A very mixed bag, I have to be honest. The call centre are awful. They called me 5 times within a few days to ask me to book in for a service that wasn’t due for another month. Even when I said stop calling me during the second call the same lady called me back literally a few minutes later and asked me again. As you can imagine after being called again later that same day (3 times in one day!) I was not happy and feeling harassed. The guy who called me two days later realised by my response I was not happy and agreed to ask a manager to call me so I could formally complain. They never called back! There is no point recording the call for training purposes if you never listen to the recording!!
The dealership were however brilliant as they always have been (this is my 4th JLR). Car was serviced while I waited and returned clean and ready for another year. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
Only observation I do have is when the very friendly lady came out with my key she went to three different old men first before eventually asking me if I was Mr S. I guess you can’t shake the old man image of a Jag, but that’s your own identity crisis!

A thoroughly Pleasant Experience. I just bought a Range Rover from Guy Salmon in Brislington and it was the very best experience I have had buying a car. Negotiations on both the part exchange and the price of the new car were both fair and reasonable. Added to which the Sales Executive Lee and the Manager Gareth were both professional and personable making the transaction successful on all counts. Great location, super easy to get to from J17 on the M5. If you are waiting for an MOT or Service, there is a large cafe area (currently only serving soft drinks due to Covid safety) but you are 3 minutes from the Vue Cinema complex, restaurants and fast food outlets. The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is short walk from Guy Salmon.
The staff at Guy Salmon are very down to earth, unpretentious and very helpful. They took care of us during our purchase and after.

Back in June I purchased a Rangerover Sport from Guy Salmon. As someone who has been involved in sales all my life, I find dealing with some of the young car sales "executives" very frustrating. I explained this to the receptionist who put me in touch with Philip Evans. He was mature, calm, and we were able to talk frankly and realistically, and so were able to reach a satisfactory arrangement for both parties without any hand wringing. I was due to travel up from Torquay to view the car first, however on the day, my wife was indisposed. Talking to Philip, he assured me that the car was tip top, and so I decied to complete the deal on the telephone. He sent me a video showing every aspect of the car, and arranged to have the car sent down to me just as soon as it had been MOT'd and serviced. The car duly arrived, and was everything that Philip had said it was. I recently had a fault that required attention through the dealership, although I didn't require a complementary car at the time. However our father became very ill which meant my circumstances had changed.
I called to see if my car was ready, and unfortunately there had been problems fixing the part and it had to be taken apart and started again. Firstly I appreciated the honesty as they highlighted they had made the error, however it left me without a car, and I had to pick my partner up at an airport 3 hours drive away. I was clearly upset when I was told this, as my father in law was dying in a hospital 3 hours drive away, and I had to collect partner who was flying in to see him. The sales manager (Rueben) who had previously sold us a car, asked what they could do to resolve the issue - with-in 5 mins he had sorted a courtesy car, and I was on my way. We both got to say good bye to our father, thanks to the service from Guy Salmon - Thank you all so much. Whilst many may think they had a responsibility to provide me with a car - I had told them I didn't need one, but they were able to arrange a solution at short notice and resolve my problems - the best service ever, and we will be back for more LandRover products soon.
