So the initial purchase was great. Very friendly, happy with the car. The car had a broken electric wing mirror which I pointed out to them prior to purchase and I was assured they would order the part and then call me when it arrives so I can go back for it to be fixed. Took out extended warranty just incase anything else came up. I am now 2 months into ownership and I still haven't had that phonecall. I have called them several times now and everytime get told someone will call me back and yet they have not. Still have not received my log book either. I cannot get someone to speak to me for more than 1 minute all I get is someone will call back and they never do. I will be emailing them this week in a final attempt to have the problem resolved before I make official complaints. This is so disappointing after the initial good experience but it seems that once you walk out the door they wash their hands of you. *EDIT TO UPDATE* Before I had chance to email them about my wingmirror the car broke down - oil sender unit failed and dumped all the oil out mid drive - required new engine due to the damage. Tow truck took it to them as still under warranty. After an initial heated exchange where I was told the warranty may not cover it as it was suggested I may have run over something, before they had even looked at my car, I am pleased to report that they got my car back up and running with a new engine under warranty AND they did my wingmirror (turns out the part had arrived some time ago, my messages had not been passed on and there was some confusion as to who the wingmirror was for). I am pleased with this outcome and once the cause of the breakdown had been identified they were very helpful. I have increased my star review based on this experience but I maintain that post sale communication and communication between staff in store could be a lot better to improve service.

Professional level of service. No pushy sale tactics at all. They ask you what cars you're interested in and have them all ready for you as you drive them one by one. Lovely, friendly staff who walk with you step-by-step on buying a new car. Bought a car recently with them, had an issue with the car within 24 hours when I had it, but they were more than happy to take a look at it free of charge.

Staff are friendly, spoke to receptionist who works there. The gentleman and the manager who also works there was prompt and handed everything to me, and everything was in there as it should. The rear drivers side light was the wrong type and they offered to send me another which was really helpful and kind, so overall 5 stars for this garage, my experiences were really bad from previous dealerships, but this one is a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended.

Salesmen are really good and not pushy at all. Better still are the service department as I had a few issues with the car (no fault of Tiley's) and they were sorted quickly and expertly. Nothing was too much trouble and kept upto date throughout. Shout out to Barry as he is a credit to the team.

Amazing team who have worked incredibly hard on my car. I was unlucky with the car that I bought but every time I've had a problem, they have booked me in quickly, often within the next day or so, and have fixed the problem in no time. Great customer service, offering a hot drink whilst you wait and all of the team (especially Barry who runs the place) are incredibly friendly and helpful. Great value for money and couldn't recommend them enough!

Got my current Astra 2011 Auto 1.6L 2 months ago, with 6 months warranty. First I had an issue with the coolant level, so I had to contact them again for that, they booked me for appointment and fixed the issue on the same day with a temporary new parts and called be back to return for the genuine car parts to be isntalled (all for free) since then no issues with the vehicle. Both guys at the sales and maintaince department are amazing. Would be happy to go there again for my next car.

Tiley's have always been great - personally having initially bitten off more than I can chew with a Subaru Impreza. I learned the hard way about going elsewhere. Scott has always been happy to talk to me about my Scooby / Soobie and give me proper sound advice. Happy to give the car a thorough check over and tell me what's wrong (as fancied doing stuff myself - some I can do some I very much can't do) and when sometimes when I've fu**ed up, there's no judgement apart from diagnosing what the issue with the car is and then fixing it. The Service & Parts Manager Barry is really friendly and happy to help with any inquiries. I think I've probably done enough to drive them up the wall but I've received nothing but friendliness and professionalism. I will continue to use them regularly and fall back to them when I make a mistake myself (or more recently my mate who required a new wheel hub and bearing be installed (another story)). The whole team are a great bunch, nice one!!!!! ( I think some people think this is the 1970's and not the 2020's)

Went down to look a specific car, it was prepared (even with fuel for the test drive) and ready to go when I arrived, sales staff were pleasant, car was as described and a deal was done. It was not what I wanted to pay but not far off, they were fair on the price for my car, so left deposit , signed up the finance docs and arranged insurance. Collected car at the time arranged and it was immaculate and serviced as agreed. My son liked the sales managers motorbike that was in the showroom at the time, so Van sat him on it took a photo and emailed it to us, a nice touch. Fair deal, everyone happy and at the end of the day we all have to make a crust . Have had many far worse deals/experiences than these chaps

Unfortunately the car wasn't ready at the agreed time, but this was through no fault of Tiley Motors but down to Ford for not having the part ordered on time. If you are buying a second hand car I would definitely recommend Tileys Ask for Van. We had a dreadful experience at a garage called South and West Motors who even in their response to my review accused my husband of swearing at them which was untrue and upsetting. Ok, firstly, I can’t say anything bad about the face to face service, I’ve been very happy with the professionalism in person of every member of the team I’ve had dealings with, however, my car has been back 4 times showing the same error code but every time I’ve been treated well and it’s been sorted in a reasonable time frame BUT I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been promised a call back that hasn’t happened resulting in me having to chase them. My car is currently in (4th visit) and I must also add the quality of the courtesy cars leaves much to be desired, I have informed Andy and he said he will look at it before it goes back out but it’s pretty bad. My experience has been reasonable, 2 stars would be a bit harsh but 3 is generous so consider it 2.5

It's always a little nerve racking buying the most expensive car in a dealer's stock (in this case a Gen 2 997 911) but the transaction couldn't have been smoother! Van responded to my inital message out of hours and after taking the deposit the next morning promptly removed the advertisement for the car. Picked it up a couple of days later, the car was immaculate and everything was as described. Many thanks to Van and the rest of the team!

Low pressure sales! I went along to tiley motors because I was after a Honda civic. I did not tell them I was coming but the car was tidy and the test drive was faultless. I dealt with Janie and was very pleased with the service I received. After testing the car I said I was off to look a two more. Janie was fine with that and seemed confident that I would call back. She was right, I viewed a couple of scrappers that were reportedly the same condition and went running back to tileys! I now have a very tidy 10 year old car with a year's warranty!! Buying a used car IMO is hard and you have to be pragmatic. You cannot expect them all to be showroom perfect. Tileys offered me a good car with a very good history for not too much money. If you have to buy a second hand car, you could do worse than talking to these guys.

A bit hit-and-miss. We bought a high mileage Fiesta diesel last February. There were a few faults on it at point of sale; Driver's seat wouldn't slide or tilt, the heater clicking constantly, and the parking sensors didn't function. All faults were repaired free of charge, although my wife was made to feel guilty by the service engineer about the cost of the replacement seat base (which has subsequently failed again), and the heater linkage wasn't refitted correctly. Car has been fine otherwise and sailed through it's last MoT. When sold though the missing paperwork and spare key were treated like non-issues, and when I called up and mentioned the seat not tilting I was told that modern Fords drivers seats' don't tip (even though I myself drive a newer Ford, and, like most three door cars, THEY BLOODY DO!). Just typical salesman "misinformation": just lies dressed up in a non-litigious form.
