Arrived early, so bit of a wait before our sales rep arrived. She approached us straight away, whereas we hadn't been approached or spoken to before that. After that all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Test drive was excellent and help searching for the right car was thorough, patient and, again, very helpful. Explanation of options open to me was thorough. Have reserved a car which will hopefully not disappoint. All being well a deserved sale should be agreed

We bought our used Mini Clubman here last the summer. At first we were totally happy with our selection, and the salesman (Steve) was also very nice. When he showed us the car he said "...there's even a Wheel kit included as you can see, in the back of the car". When we picked up the car, we didn't look through the car. Why should we?? The sales told us, the car has a 1 year guarantee and we could let them know if something was not “OK”. 2-3 days later we noticed that the WheelKit was missing in the car. It was just the empty bag there, but the content was not longer there. We wrote to the Sales Rep 2-3 times and also called, but we haven’t received any feedback. At the beginning of December we were then contacted by Mini if we were satisfied with the car and if everything was OK and we complained about the Wheel-kit again. At least it was a little plus that we thought we were receiving with the car, especially because there is no substitute wheel in the car if somethings happens. We were then promised a call back, which never came. We just let it go and forget the Wheel-kit. Now we have the car for 5-6 months and suddenly we realized that the rear passenger seat was completely flooded. We checked the car into Mini's for inspection, thinking that the car has a 1 year warranty. Now we were told that the sealing of the door is unfortunately worn out and would have to be renewed. The interior of the car must also be dried. Costs would be around 650 pounds, which is not covered by the guarantee. Huge shock for us….the car is recently bought!! How can that happen? Also when it is a used car, we know that at any point it will have failures, but we bought it with the oficial dealer, so we didn’t expect to happen them only after 5 month. We were assured that the car was serviced and checked through. I find that very disappointing. With all the pandemic restrictions, we only used the car very little, 1-2 times a week and only for really short journeys. especially the back door was hardly used. And honestly I'm scared and wondering: What happens next? I'm starting to deeply regret having bought the car here. We had seen the same car at CARShop, 1 year “younger” and only £500 more expensive. However, I felt better buying the car from the Mini Dealer, supposedly fully serviced, better serviced as a Mini bought from a Non-Oficial Dealer as the Sales told us and 1 year warranty. Now I feel so so dump and stupid for buying the car here and not from CarShop. 😥😥😥 Nevertheless, the Check in for reparation was handled with Danielle who was really informative at any moment and so so kind with us, I have to say that, too. A little Star. And the Mini Garage did a great job and sent us twice a day an email with a detailed Video of how the car is, what happened to her, what he suggest to do…really appreciated this information EDIT: We told Danielle that we were quite shocked about the high amount to pay and sad and everything and we received a call back from the Store Manager by afternoons, telling us that he fully understands our point and Mini really regrets what we had experienced. They cannot cover the amount by the Warranty, but Mini will take charge of part of the amount. We were still upset and this point, but happy about the call back that shows that they in fact care about customers and we appreciated their offer to not have to pay the full amount. The car got really fast repaired. And I was happy to have my Mini back so fast.

Recently purchased my new Mini Countryman from mini Cardiff and what a 5 star experience I dealt with Gabriel and he made it such a great experience was very professional to deal with and made me feel very valued as a mini customer nothing was too much trouble and Gabriel is a credit to your company. The whole feel was welcoming and the lady on the desk was delightful, offering us tea and coffee and settling us in straight away. My car has been booked in for a service at the wrong time but they were apologetic and got us an appointment straight away with a salesman as I wanted to test drive a different model. We were served by Craig who was so welcoming and helpful, not pushy or in your face, giving us lots of useful informations and answering all of our questions! He was happy to assist in our interest and ended up getting us a great deal along with Kelvin who explained the finance side clearly. Overall a great visit and I'm in love with the car!

Good experience purchasing a MINI from Sytner MINI, Cardiff. Not often I use the words 'great' and 'car salesman' in the same sentence, but I dealt with Gabriel Miles Farrier in the branch from start of finish, and he was A grade. A salesman who can actually adapt to a customer (i.e if a customer is an enthusiast and don't need 'selling' to, he has a great ability to just be a facilitator, ready to answer any questions if needed, rather than be an irritant like many (many) car salesman I've experienced before). In addition, once the order was set in motion, he was brilliant at answering emails, keeping in touch and adding a few bits and bobs to the order which I needed before delivery. Also, being a keen car detailer, I didn't want the car touched by any wash mitt by someone who 'may not' be as particular as I am. I asked Gabriel if he'd ensure the car reached me untouched and unwashed, so the paintwork would still be in factory condition when I received it to detail it myself. Gabriel instructed those involved not to wash the car, even so much as writing large 'do not wash' A4 print outs and placing them in view behind the car windscreen. All of this was very very appreciated and I fully commend Gabriel at the dealership for the all round service provided.

I arrived at Sytner MINI uncertain what kind of car I wanted. The vehicles on display showed a broad range of models and I quickly settled on a MINI Cooper S as the model I most liked. Within an hour I had a detailed description of all the car's features and I was able to get a ballpark price for the level of personalisation I wanted. I booked a test drive for a few days later and my wife and I both enjoyed the car so much we decided to buy. From there a built vehicle was sourced and delivered in under 2 weeks and finance was simple and straightforward. I have not had a better experience of buying a car. What made it particularly easy for me was that Steve Harris, who sold me the car, is a genuinely enthusiastic driver who understood exactly what I was looking for and helped me spec the right vehicle. The MINI Cooper S is a total delight to drive.

From my first phone call regarding a mini 5 door hatchback that my daughter in law found on their website, I had nothing but first class service from Sytner, Cardiff and mainly from Tom Biddle. I could not wish for a better first contact, answering all my queries and concerns with great knowledge of the product and patience, both before and after purchase . Although there were a couple of minor issues after collection, nothing was too much trouble, with Tom coming to Gloucestershire to collect my car and leave a courtesy car for a short time. We have had a brilliant experience buying a MINI from Tom at Sytner Cardiff! The car was just out of our budget but the salesman Tom kindly did a brilliant deal, which we are all greatful for as this enabled us to get such a brilliant car. Although I don’t live in Cardiff I live in Coventry (about 3 hours away), Tom delivered the car to my home address which was very helpful. We didn’t feel that we were pressured into buying the car, unlike dealers we have brought a car from before. The salesman even gave us floor mats for the car, which don’t even come as standard, which was a nice touch! Tom (the salesman) has kept in touch and has made sure that we are completely happy with the car, and that we don’t have any problems with it. He has also said that if we have any problems then we shouldn’t hesitate to contact him, which is good because this shows that they are truly interested about the experience you have, so it is obvious that it’s not all about making a sale at Sytner Cardiff. Considering this was our first MINI, we have all decided that we will buy another MINI from here again, and we will recommend this particular dealership to others, as well as the salesman Tom.

My new car was damaged before delivery. service department was going to arrange the repair and let me know by 18:00 that day but did not. Called in the next day when he saw me he was on the computer and said next Tuesday for the repair. On Friday morning 10:00 we rang to ask when it would be back he would find out and let us know. The day I walked into Sytner Cardiff I knew this was going to be a great experience. Sitil was fantastic with what I needed and what was available. I gave her the task of finding me a vehicle in 4 days and she came up trumps. The mini clubman which I purchased is amazing. The colour and optional extras were more than I could wish for. Well apart from folding wing mirrors and automatic gearbox it is top notch. She helped in all aspects of the vehicle purchase. I was offered a courtesy vehicle while the clubman was serviced, valeted and checked over. The warranty was transferred to my name along with a full tank of fuel and free next service and breakdown cover. She sorted out the road tax and also all transfer of owner details to the Mini Warranty Center. The showroom is a warm and welcoming place and Sitil is a ray of sunshine when dealing with car dealers. I shopped around as I have been driving comapny cars for years so this is my 1st purchase and now would recommend Sytner Cardiff to anyone. Sitil is a credit to the company, her smile and enthusiasm comes through, listens, investigates and she is never pushy, she has called me a couple of times now just to check all is well with my purchase. Would I buy from Sytner again? YES!! For a used Mini Clubman I am more than happy with my purchase. I have been complimented on numerous occasions now on the colour and wheels. UPDATE! All the issues set out below have now been resolved, thanks to the Brand Manager (sorry, I've forgotten your name). Ideally the car should've been delivered defect free but all sorted now and Mother-in-law is smiling again! My Mother-in-law bought a used Clubman from here 2 weeks ago. There were some minor chips on the bonnet so they agreed to re-spray it. They did a very good job of painting it but they've put the old MINI badge back on. These badges never go back on properly and I would expect a new badge to be fitted. But the old badge has been bodged back on and doesn't fit flush like it should. Also one of the plastic sill covers is loose at one end. The salesman said it was a "feature of MINIs". Ok, I collect and deliver brand new BMWs/MINIs from the factory at Oxford and Southampton. Let's see if new ones have this feature! He also keeps saying "it's a used car". Agreed, but when buying a car with only 3000miles on the clock from a main dealer, for the sake of a £30 badge and half an hour of someone's time to fit it and re-clip the sill cover back on, I'd have expected more!

I have just recently had my mini mot'd and one thing I can say is that the personal service received was amazing ( a special shout out to Jordanne ). I have been around long enough to know that sometimes that extra kindness and attention is enough to make a person feel that there is good in people. Overall the car was serviced well but the main point is that customer service in my opinion takes precedent and mini Cardiff does that part to the highest level. Would I recommend Mini Cardiff.... Do birds fly? I course I would!!!!
