Mark and his team were really helpful and friendly. It was my first time picking a car. And from the time I step in to the garage I was make to feel welcome. They answer any questions I had about the car. I could call them anytime to ask them questions. And my car was ready when they said it would be . clean and tidy. The car drives lovely nice and quite. I would use mark and his team again.

Went to visit the garage as looking to update my existing car and had been recommended by a friend that Lawes was worth a look. Was really impressed by the choice available and the service received. Mark was helpful and asked questions to help narrow down what I wanted but at no point was pushy which I really liked. We were left to wander and talk about a few cars we wanted to test drive. Mark sorted this with no fuss and respecting the current COVID guidelines. Ended up purchasing a car the same day and this was also a really smooth process. Collected the car a week later after it had been MOT’d and a few detailing bits taken care of. Very happy with my experience with Lawes and will be using them as my garage for MOTs and services going forward.

Bought a Ford Fiesta at Lawes Garage and thought the service was excellent. I did not feel rushed into making a decision and Mark was very responsive in answering our questions. We needed some extra work done on the car and Mark has been helpful in arranging this, and the garage also replaced the cambelt for a good price. We are not from the local area but now I think it was worth the longer drive!

5* service. Recently bought a Fiesta and on collection Mark explained he had discovered a problem with gearbox. He offered me to change my mind or he would get it sorted ASAP. He provided me with a courtesy car before I could question it and had a specialist garage fix the car and turn it around in 2 days. In addition, on the forecourt at first viewing, the car had a couple of minor issues which we preferred to be sorted and Mark arranged for this to be done prior to purchasing. We like the upfront sales pitch with none of the usual gamesmanship and feel confident and assured by the company's ethics. Would definitely recommend.

Really pleased with my purchase from Lawes Garage back in February. I waited until now to leave a review, just to give me time to get to know the car and discover any thing that might not be obvious initially, I'm pleased to say there have been no unpleasant surprises and I'm really thrilled with the car. The car was well prepared prior to collection and Mark had arranged for a couple of little bits to be put right before we picked it up - this was done without us having to ask (we had noted them when we viewed the car, but didn't say anything at the time because we expected a car of this age to have some signs of wear etc). Really good customer service and certainly no pressure to buy. Good communication at all stages and I didn't feel rushed or hurried - thanks Lawes Garage - would definitely buy another car from you!

A massive THANK YOU to Mark and his team at Lawes Garage. Despite having a low budget we were given 5 star treatment. New lockdown rules meant that we couldn't test drive the car but after reading the reviews for Lawes we paid the deposit and arranged a collection for later that week. Mark test drove the car on our behalf, found a problem and had it fixed along with a new service a new MOT and a 1 year warranty all before pick up day. We are as pleased as punch with our new car it is spotless and drives like a dream. We would not hesitate to purchase from there again and will be using Lawes for future MOTs and service's. I contacted Mark about a 2005 Fiesta LX I had seen, and was desperate due to my little Fiesta dying in the snowy conditions a week ago. Being a keyworker that’s worked through the whole of the pandemic , and not much money left I explained my situation to Mark. Despite loads of interest he held it for me so I could take a test drive first before my late shift. Treated me with same professional courtesy even though I was buying a cheaper car, and has a gift for finding the right car for the right person. Really helped me and my family out, and I will never forget Lawes garages Colchester actively helped Emergency Service personnel get back out there and on the road during these difficult times!
