Very smiley friendly staff from the start right through to the end of our visit. Paul Wilson was very informative and explained everything we weren't sure of even told us what he thought was right for us as an older couple without making us feel ancient. We were introduced to Jack (sales manager) who asked what we were interested in & showed us several models of karoq - colour ,price & specifications. He gave us the benefit of his knowledge & advised us on the best car for us. So there & then we agreed to buy. To say I was thrilled/excited …… I absolutely love the car it’s so easy to drive and has all the tec. we need - Bob is impressed with the interior spec. So thank you Jack for sorting us our perfect vehicle. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted & seen by the staff at the dealership. They were quick to sort, arrange, & complete the work required (in this case being a Service & M.O.T) in a timely manner along with, giving the vehicle an exterior/interior detail. Seating accommodation was plentiful and the drinks facility available for the customers was greatly appreciated. in terms of pricing they were competitive or in some case slightly cheaper against certain dealerships. With the possible ULEZ extension in London I decided to take the plunge early and upgrade my 1 year too old Octavia diesel, that was supposed to last another 3-5 years till I got an electric car. I wanted another Octavia that was not too expensive and would keep me going. Taking a look on-line Listers of Coventry had quite a few at the low end of the price scale and reasonably priced (with a slight dealer mark-up as would expect compared to private sellers but with service, 1 year warranty and roadside assistance included). One fit the bill perfectly and a quick email led to an impressive video of the car inside and out with commentary of any issues. A call a day or two later (around my schedule) and a few further emails were all friendly and they were very honest about the condition of the car and what they would want to try fix pre selling. As I am London based I sent my dad to take a look as he lives nearby and he was impressed with their approach as well. The car was in better condition than the video and I put down a deposit while they fixed the paint damage and repaired the steering wheel as they had planned. They did a great job on this, chucked in tank of petrol and new mats to seal the deal. At no time did I feel pressured or exposed to any sales tactics. I even had week on holiday after I paid the deposit but not paid the full price. I was expecting request to pay but they left me in peace till I got back and even then they did not rush me. Due to train strikes I couldn't collect the car so again got my dad to collect and this also went smoothly with 5 days insurance in his name to drive away. Very impressed with the garage and especially Paul Wilson and Jack Stubbs who were amazing. I would recommend them 100%. Very happy.

I was very impressed with the service of Phil. He arranged a test drive in the new Enyaq. Gave a call the day before to confirm time and attendance. He showed me all of the features of the car and was polite and genuine throughout. Whilst on my test drive, he complied figures for leasing deals. On my return we went through the figures. Unfortunately he was not able to match the offer from another leasing company. Which I was genuinely gutted about, as I would have much rather purchased from him. Our experience with the Listers customer service has been very good indeed. It makes the eye-watering bill even seem more palatable! (In fairness, we had had a lot of work done, so the bill was fair for what had been done.) A nice touch is the video report on what the mechanics find during their inspection. Second review, approximately a year after the last one. We continue to be very, very satisfied with the service we get from Listers Skoda, Coventry. This time the car was in for an engine management dashboard light alert. The handbook advised not to drive other than to take to a dealer for investigations and remedial action. First pleasant surprise was that Listers were able to offer us an appointment for the next but one working day. Secondly, not unreasonably we were expecting this to be an expensive issue. Far from it: It was sorted for us at an unbelievably low cost. Thank you Listers. Also, we were impressed with the comprehensive video health check on the car. Excellent service all round.

Both Claire and Stephanie on the Service Desk ensured that I was kept fully advised by text at all times, with an accurate estimate of the time it would take to complete the work. The garage service is very good. You are kept informed at every stage and made aware of any problems as they occur. The free safety check is really welcome, and informs you by video of any aspects which may affect the safety of your vehicle and what needs to be done to put them right, plus the cost and urgency of doing so. Staff are very courteous and helpful, and the car is even cleaned before being returned to you. I've had my car serviced at Listers Skoda at Coventry for a number of years now, and will continue to do so.

Excellent service from Phil. Just received my 21plate kodiaq which was ordered to be made with my chose extras last November. Because of the uncertainty of Brexit and pandemic, Phil kindly reminded me of the possibility of tax increase; production delay; PCP £3500 contribution expire. Since my order made, he kept me updated regularly to hold my excitement up, especially during the Xmas & new year time. I genuinely can't fault any of the service I've had from Skoda. I've never found a dealership like Skoda who put customers at the heart of everything. The staff provide exemplary service and go way above and beyond for the customers. As soon as you walk in you feel the warmth and greeted by staff. I would highly recommend Listers Skoda soo much!!!! Ordered what turned out to be one of the last ever Citigo's, (electric) in March 2020. Due to the current and ongoing situation car was eventually delivered end of November. The dealership was quite professional in the selection of my car. However, they very nearly lost the sale by their insistance on talking to me about their finance products. I made it clear I did not want or need finance and their products were unwanted. However the finance talk was basically compulsory. Please, you can sell cars but don't insult your customers. If they don't want something just keep quiet! Other than that it was a smooth transaction.

I'm now a proud owner of a new Skoda, thanks to Jack, who managed to get hold of a very specific model, from a different dealer from London. It was a bit complicated to get it from there, but he managed it in the end. The car handover took a bit longer, but that's mainly due to some last minute adjustments. Now couple of days with the car, some issues came to light (because of the previous dealer in London), Jack is still a huge help post the purchase, making sure every issue is corrected. This is always a bit of a worry, what is the service like after you pay the money. In this case, I would say well above standard. I'm happy I have the car from them, and looking forward to keep the car maintained with them too. The only downside I can think of, is lack of parking spaces. But if you don't mind that (I really don't), I can only recommend Listers in Coventry (just next to M6, junction 3). Cheers, Frank

The car was taken in on the day and time arranged. A look around the car was done to record any exterior / interior flaws, luckily none. I was contacted around the time time the time the service was due to finish and I arranged to pick it up (They would have collected it but the garage is close by, so I dropped it in). I was given a tick sheet highlighting items checked and a condition report, all satisfactory. I then received a short video from the service dept pointing out the under body condition, suspension, brake pads and tyres, all okay. A smooth process, with a car wash and brush up included.

I am a huge huge fan of the Skoda Brand. I brought my first car 3 years ago and was extremely happy with my purchase. The staff then were fantastic. 3 years on I am looking to upgrade. Booked the service at least 2 weeks in advance so I could get a courtesy car, only to find on arrival that the booking wasn't made! The courtesy car was. Anyway I left the car with them and drove off in their go-cart the CitoGo Before I left I advised them of some software issues and a warranty issue regarding the parcel shelf When I returned to collect the car, the technician said he couldn't find anything wrong with the car, and proceeded to show me how he tested the parcel shelf. My car has the "automatically Retractable" parcel shelf which is supposed to open when you open the tailgate... it doesn't, instead it unceremoniously dumps it into the loading area. I got the impression that the technician didn't even know this option existed, and when highlighting it to him he just said "OK" and then disappeared. A few days after I received a phone call from customer services and asked me if I was happy with the service I received, and when I said no... she soon wanted to quickly end the phone call. Anyway, it wont be going back there, I will take it to one of the other Skoda main dealers probably in Leicester. My car is currently in Oxford at the main dealer I bought it from who when I told them of my plight, they couldn't have bene more helpful... They have driven up to me a courtesy car.. a Karoq and took mine away to get it fixed once and for all... a complete contrast from these people. I have given a 3* because they don't deserve a 1*… you find with google reviews they are either 1* or 5* people that review are either really happy or angry

From start to finish the service was excellent, the sales man Phil boothe & James the manager were very helpful, honest and guided us through every step of buying the Skoda yeti. We have had a lot of issues with other garages but this one exceeded the lot. As we live a fair distance away from the Coventry garage Phil sent us a video of inside and outside the car explaining all its features which gave us a really good look at the car we were interested in. I have service and Mot, at a fixed price. I asked for the tyre pressure warning light to be investigated, as I could not reset it following three new tyres being fitted to the vehicle. They were quickly able to advise me that the 4th oldest tyre, was not the same size as the other three. This is an MOT failure, despite the tyre size being a possible fitment for the vehicle. My last Not station did not identify this, only reset the warning light. I commend them for their diligence, and fair price for the replacement tyre.

Although my car failed MOT I was advised to replace a tyre and that I could then bring it back in for a retest. I needed a DSG oil and filter change and as DSG transmission is a little bit of a specialist job I went with Skoda dealership for their fixed price of £179. Not a bad price considering the oil and parts are approx £100+. Skoda also did a free visual health check and made me aware of some issues that I was not aware of, the video they take and send to you is fantastic and lets you know they are not making these issues up. I was advised that these advisory items are not necessary to do right now but to make me aware of them, there was no attempt to push me into getting any extra work done or any pressure in rectifying these advisories yet. They simply told me they will monitor these parts for me whenever I visit the dealership for work. I spent just over an hour at the dealership whilst I waited and tea and coffee was free and there was plenty of reading material on offer. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

***UPDATE AS OF 28/6/19*** Today I received I phone call from the Service Manager, Martin. He had seen my review and had wanted to speak regarding the issues I had raised. He was very apologetic in relation to my vehicle not being valeted but he was more concerned reference the comments I had overheard by one of his staff. He has assured me that this will be investigated and dealt with and as a gesture of good will he has agreed to complete the repair to my vehicle for free of charge. I cannot praise his response highly enough, it’s refreshing to see a company actually care about customer service and it’s reassuring to see someone willing to deal with an issue. As a result I have revised my review from 1 star to 3 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW - Just got back from collecting my VRs following its oil service. Now initially the service I received here was good, and it always has been when I’ve used them in the past but unfortunately today has been a let down. The first thing I will moan about is only a slight thing but as they say “it’s the small things that matter”. My car has been at this dealership all day having had a service, MOT and an inspection on an issue I’d reported. I’ve collected it and it hadn’t been cleaned. Now I know this may sound pretentious to some people but in all the years that I’ve had cars serviced at main dealerships the vehicle has always been returned having had a mini valet. So sorry but minus points for this. The second and more serious matter is as follows? As it turns out my vehicle needed some repair work which was highlighted following its health check. It was only a minor repair but Skoda were quoting me £173.33, again I was happy with this albeit I had just spoke to another local reputable garage who quoted me £85 instead. To their credit The dealership had already agreed to a 10% due to me having the services and MOT done there. I asked if they could offer any more discount in light of the fact I could get the repair work carried out considerably cheaper elsewhere. The service assistant, Claire Mason I think her name was, who had been very helpful and credit to the dealership said she would go and ask her manager, Claire went away into a room and to speak to who I presume was her manager, they ere obviously unaware I could over hear this conversation as I heard Claire inform her manager that I had found somewhere that could do the repair for under £100. I then heard who I presume to be the manager reply by saying words to the effect of “oh has he now, well tell him to jog “OH HAS HE NOW, WELL TELL HIM TO JOG ON!”. I am not the confrontational type so I said nothing however I will now be taking my business elsewhere having using this dealership for a number of years for both my wife’s and my sodas. Great cars, poor and rude management! AVOID.

Forecourt nicely laid out with a good selection of used cars on display, all looking immaculate.Entering the property it was warm, well lit and inviting with some lovely cars inside. Didn't wait long before i met ADAM, and what a nice guy. I explained i was drawn through the door by the offer which was shown on the side of a Fabia outside and there was one of those cars in the showroom to look at. Having filled me and my son with coffee we sat with Adam whilst he went through the car and the deal on the car in depth. There was no push, no hard sell at any time. Adam was professional, effective, positive and knowledgeable. We went through the finances in detail and the various options available in a clear concise manner which left me without doubts or questions. I found the whole experience hugely enjoyable. I asked Adam about a model on the forecourt. He took me and showed me around, explaining the differences between that the the model in the showroom. Nothing as too much trouble for him. I eventually selected that model, the Monte Carlo. We went back to the office and i did the deal. Adam explained when the car should arrive with him ( in fact the delivery was earlier than quote) and i went through the paperwork with Simon, another gentleman. Again Simon went to great length to ensure i fully understood what i was signing up to, nothing being too much trouble for him. I left Listers like i was walking on air! I had regular updates from Adam and on the day of collection he picked me up from Nuneaton to take me to get the car. Once again we sat and went through the aspects of the car and again i did the final paperwork with Simon. Adam then took me outside to the car and spent time going through the features of the car with me which took a good few minutes. All the cars knobs, switches, dials, gauges and functions were explained to me in detail so that when the time came i left the forecourt with confidence. Adam offered his services at any time and if i had any queries or concerns t contact him directly. He has also contacted me post sale to see how things are going. I am so glad i chose Listers and Skoda for my new car and with Adam and Simon they have a winning team at the helm. Highly recommended to anyone. You might nor want a Skoda when you arrive at Listers but you will when you leave.

Adam Cox is brilliant. My wife and I were wanting to purchase a Karoq and we'd looked around a fair bit and came across one here at Lister. Since the initial phone call with Adam he has been extremely helpful. We live in london and so we didn't want to drive all the way up to Coventry if we weren't entirely sure about the car. Adam was great at answering all our question over email. He sent over hpi check reports and the 111 point skoda check via email. On the day we went to test drive the car we were late by over an hour but Adam was not rushing us at all. He actually stayed over his time and at no point did he force us into buying the car. He even offered us a refund on our deposit as he could see we were a bit unsure of the car. In the end we decided to purchase the vehicle. The service by Adam has been second to none and since we have had the car he still happily answers my questions over email. An asset to Skoda and definitley a sales man that should train other, not so great, salesmen. Most Skoda retailers I visited In London were either pushy or not bothered in providing that service. Strongly recommend this branch and I'll be recommending my family and friends.

Fantastic experience buying our new Skoda Kodiaq from Adam and Chris at Listers Coventry. A great test drive gave us both chance to drive the car for a decent amount of time and with a combination of town and main road/dual carriageway driving on each run. Adam was a pleasure to deal with, helping us to choose the best model for our needs and taking in a genuine interest in us as customers. The ordering process was really straight-forward and whilst we added a couple of extra 'products' (delivery pack and paint chip/dent repair cover) at no point did we feel under any pressure to take these. All options were explained fully and we simply chose what we felt we needed. At every step of the way, Adam and Chris responded to any calls/mails promptly and contacted us on each occasion at the times promised. Would definitely recommend both the dealership and the Kodiaq, a car which certainly for the first few days has exceeded all expectations and the kids describe as 'awesome!!'

I purchased a Skoda Yeti Outdoor SE L Drive from Listers, taking delivery on 26/10/17. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service I received, which made the whole experience a pleasure. The sales executive that dealt with me, Paul Coutet, was very helpful and friendly, explained everything clearly and answered all my questions thoroughly. The car itself was also presented in immaculate condition. I think the test of a good garage is particularly how it deals with a problem that can arise in the purchasing process. In my case there was a problem of my own making – only having the outdated V5C for the car that I presented for scrappage. I really appreciated the very patient and supportive way that Paul and the sales manager, Chris Pardoe, handled the situation and found a resolution for it. This all leads me to recommend Listers highly as a garage to make a car purchase from.

I wanted to buy a ŠKODA Kodiaq, and having searched for months I finally found the vehicle I’d been looking for. Only one problem, I’m in Liverpool, they’re in Coventry. After a couple of emails, I was sent a short video of the vehicle, by one of the salesmen Adam Cox. To be honest the video sealed the deal, but sorting out payment for a car over a hundred miles away was unnerving to say the least. This is where Adam really went above and beyond. After a two and a half hour train journey from Liverpool to Coventry, Adam was waiting at the station for us. He took us to see the car at Listers, then drove us to Nuneaton so I could transfer the money from my bank. This was still nerve wracking, but a lot less so than the original idea of transferring the money twenty four hours before laying eyes on the vehicle. Anyway, this only took around ten minutes to sort. We then went back to Listers to await the payment to clear. During this time Adam sorted out the online car tax payment for me (I’d previously had Motability vehicles for the past twelve years) because I had no idea how to do this. After signing a few forms, registering the car etc Adam then spent around half an hour going through the vehicles various (of which there are a lot!) features. Then we were ready to drive home, with half a tank of fuel thrown in! So if you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy car dealership, then I can’t recommend Listers highly enough, excellent from start to finish. Very highly recommended!!!

Probably the best car experience where we were unable to find a car. My family and I were looking to buy a car so stopped by Skoda in Exhall. When I went in and talked to Phil, he was extremely friendly and professional. I told him what we were after and he kept updating us over the course of a month about stock that was coming in and even made several personalized videos with the car and its features. Because of the timing of our car situation, we were unable to find one that met our needs. Michael, one of the managers, also tried very hard for our budget and needs. Between the two of them, I could not fault one thing about their service and effort. The sad part is, that due to our timing and no stock for what we were after at the time, we were unable to purchase a car from Skoda. Although we have found another car now, if their professionalism and service continues, when it's time to switch cars again in a few years, Skoda will be one place I will definitely be keeping my eye out for and recommending to others.

This is the 3rd Yeti. Love them. The 1st one was a caravan tower. We went to look saw and when we were offered a vehicle a bit better than we needed, with the extra price being 1/2' beyween, we were glad we chose Listers. When at 24 months I was asked if I wanted to have a new version with the latest diesel engine with %free, I decided that as life was throwing bad stuff at us, it made sense to have a new vehicle and pay nothing extra. This year, at 21 months the call about the car came again. By now, as I told the rep, I had just managed to do 3256 miles in 21 months. Only having had 4 main long trips. The rest were to town to hospital and local shops. My husband has Altzheimers and Parkinson's. The rep agreed with me I needed a petrol engine. I wouldn't then have to worry about the engine getting messed up with carbon and needing to drive up and down the M6 at 70mph for 30mins to clear it, which is what I had been doing. So he arranged everthing on the phone and Internet to save me having to go 2wice to Coventry. Everthing was sorted I went to collect the car last Wednesday. Was treated beautifully, my husband was looked after while I concluded the change over ,and I got a good deal and know I can go back or get help anytime. As I did today with the Sat Nav. A couple of quibbles for the trade in general: would it be too difficult to present a car, when collecte,d with a full tank?
