Had a really great experience with Tom Brown at Pentagon Derby. I dealt with Tom from having s personalised video, viewing and test driving the car, to buying. Having Tom was really refreshing, seems like a genuine guy, that didn't show any of the stereotypical salesman qualities that everyone worries about. Tom delivered a 5 star experience with buying my Astra, could not fault his service at all. My partner and I viewed another Astra before finding the one we bought, and a different salesman showed us around the car. As soon as he realised we didn't want to buy the same day, he got us out of the car and sent us on our way, making us feel a bit disposable. Tom really made up for how the previous bloke made us feel. Tom also helped find a price that made everything slightly more affordable for me, including some added extras! I'd definitely reach out to Tom if I were to look at upgrading again.

Excellent Customer Service, no pressure to buy and total transparency through the process. Had a first viewing of a van with Ash, went through the sales process with Tom and got the van delivered by John, all in less than a week. By far the best guarantee conditions I have been offered (been searching for this vehicle for over a year). Watch this space as I might have to come and modify this review if the van suddenly dies on me in two months time :) Just didn't want to wait that long to provide feedback on my experience to date.

My car came to Pentagon Derby for a repair due to an accident. From start to finish the process was brilliant Debbie who was on reception in the bodyshop department was absolutely fantastic she was kind and reassuring especially when I was booking my car in as due to the amount of cars sitting on forecourts waiting to be repaired due to shortage of car parts I had been turned away from a few other garages but Pentagon were more than happy to help. She explained the process throughly and answered any questions I had. She told me that I could call up throughout the process to check on my cars progress which I did a few times and each time she was so friendly and helpful and organised everything perfectly and the time it took to repair my car was great it was done in no time. The team in the bodyshop have done an amazing job on my repair its absolutely spot on. Thanks so much to the whole body shop team at Pentagon Derby and especially to Debbie for all your hard work.

Brilliant experience! I am extremely happy with my experience with the team at Pentagon Derby. My previous car was bought from Pentagon Nottingham but sadly it was a write off due to an accident - The team at Pentagon Derby were very helpful with giving me information & details regarding new finance and how it works. I was very impressed with the service of both Ken Gidda and Dave (the manager?). They were both very helpful and went the extra mile. Sadly there was a dent in the car and scratch which I believe happened after looking at the car initially (when I went to pick it up), but they quickly apologized and got the car booked in for the body shop free of charge, as well as threw in some extras! Something I really appreciated. Thanks to both Ken and Dave for being extremely helpful and understanding! EDIT: August 2022 I have now purchased a Vauxhall Astra 2022 from Arron Hamilton at Pentagon Derby. Outstanding service! The car was delayed by two months completley out of his control but he always kept me updated & was honest with the delivery times and extremely quick with his responses. Looking for my next car on mobility, visited Vauxhall as other dealers did not have a vehicle I wanted, spoke to Helen who was very helpful and knolagble, and very pleasant. I am going back this week to place my order. There is a long waiting and delivery time because of the lack of components chips. Exceptional service from Mark at Pentagon Derby this week. I had seen a car online which fit all my criteria and at a fantastic price. Due to the current situation I used the online chat function first (direct to Central sales) to discuss how to proceed. Within a couple of hours I unexpectedly had a phone call from Mark clarifying that I would be able to view and test drive the car - he booked me an appointment and explained how social distancing would be adhered to. When I visited he handed over the keys (only me allowed in the showroom) and I took the car for a test drive alone. Great little car. Mark offered me a very good price for my old Corsa as part-ex, and when I noted the mats were missing from the new car he provided them at no cost. Despite him being busy doing the jobs of lots of people he was able to get everything sorted that day and I drove away within a couple of hours. Couldn't rate the service any higher. Thanks Mark!

It was time for my trusty old insignia to be replaced as it had 175,000 miles on the clock and never missed a beat. I wanted another Elite diesel model but automatic, Not many to be had, Found one at Derby Pentagon and it sounded what I was looking for, expressed interest and was called back by Matt he was apologetic and said the car had just come in and was not prepared but he sent me the photos, Put down a holding deposit and went to see the car, No hard push from Matt, no pressure to take finance or other extras. Yes I will buy again for Matt to apologise and say it would need preparing and checking before they could sell. I was in no rush and now have a lovely well presented car. My daughter and initially her Grandad attended to look at a vehicle that would, if purchased ,be her first car since passing her test. Excellent, friendly staff, the Salesperson, Martha doing an excellent job and even quickly sorting out a set back that arose when my daughter was dealing with the paperwork. All staff were excellent (as far as we were concerned) but Martha did stand out for her approach, help and time taken with updates. I was looking for a used car to suit my grand daughter, Pentagon had a suitable one, it was probably the cheapest one they were selling, but to the grand daughter it was to be her pride and joy. I had a service done recently and found the work carried out was of a high standard and the staff were helpful, however I'm not too pleased with the fact that you don't get a call if any other work needs to be carried out if you have given them your email address, although they do send you a video of the inspection which is informative but it would still be nice to get a call as an email can sometimes be missed. Overall though the experience was second to none and i would recommend them.

Well me and my partner where on the look out for a new used car and here we found a no pushy very helpful all questioned asked where answered approach, Shaun Chamberlain was brilliant from start to finish! Even after we brought the car Shaun was happy to answer questions I had even after the sale date! After we found the car we liked and was approved Shaun gave me the price for hire purchase with the finance company that approved me and though a little higher than I first expected a few days later Shaun Managed to get us a deal which made a saving difference of 480 per year saving which made myself and my partner feel that they weren’t just after a sale but really cared about giving us the best price available! Our car was processed and upon collection was immaculately presented! A small bit of damage I noticed before purchasing was fixed to such a high standard I would of believed that no damage was ever there! I bought my New Vauxhall Corsa Energy from Pentagon Derby back in April with the release of the new reg. Very happy with service i received. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff throughout the site. First purchase on finance and the sales manager was more than helpful is discussing my options and advising me on the best way to SAVE MONEY! Took advantage of the Vauxhall Scrappage token on offer at the time and got 1500 for my old Fiesta. Little bit of hassle trying to get everything under way and sorting my insurance sorted out ready for collection was a nightmare - probably due to my age, but vehicle was fully valeted and cleaned ready for me to drive away on the day. So far so good, no problems so far! There's quite a few mixed reviews out there, think its all just part of the trade, if you are considering a new vehicle, give Pentagon a try, good value for money, great staff a reputable dealer you can rely on! Don't let reviews manipulate your decision too much, make your own mind up on the service you received! Mine was great!

The works have always been done on time and the staff are very helpful and friendly and keep you informed of any updates as and when they happen. Dave was lovely, from the time I walked through the door till the time we shook hands at the end of purchase. He showed me around the cars I had seen on the website and we went for a test drive. Dave went through all the payment options with me, valued my car as part exchange and did all the paperwork. Thanks for an enjoyable and easy experience in coming to collect my zafira. I sent an enquiry abouy the car i ended up purchasing and i heard back within 15 munites. And the next day had a call of the salesman called ken who gave me excellent service. He found me a great finance deal and gave me plenty of options and all the information i needed. I was looking for a used Vauxhall Crossland Elite Nav with reversing camera- despite several searches on numerous sites Pentagon Derby were the only company who had one in their portfolio. I contacted them and initially we had intended to travel down to Derby to look at the car. However the service I got was amazing - they offered me an acceptable price for my 2 year old trade-in, sight unseen - and offered to deliver the car to me for free. The car duly arrived as arranged and my car was taken away - a very nice gentleman did the changeover The price I paid was good and in fact, I was delighted with the full purchase process - seamless. I never expected to be able to buy a car without inspecting it but I had the benefit of the Vauxhall Network Q guarantee and Pentagon professionalism infused me with confidence. I am not a fan of Dealerships but Pentagon Derby have done alright by me this time. I was involved in an incident recently in my Clio where a car ran into the passenger side. My wife was sat there and it had put her off small cars so we were out looking for something bigger. After several garage forecourts we found ourselves at Pentagon Derby. We were looking round the lot and were approached by a Salesman. We told him our story and he suggested we look at the Meriva. Unfortunately there was not one available but inside he said there was one in their Doncaster branch. We booked a test drive and a few days we did. I had a specific budget in mind but this car was more but because of the low mileage I accepted. Now comes the “interesting” part, there were extras like fuel, charitable donation, Pentagon assurance upgrade and of course the dreaded Road Tax which pushed the cost even more over budget. However, when all is said and done, the Salesman was pleasant, knowledgeable and I got a good car within a few days.

I had a problem that my local dealer could not correct so Pentagon Derby took over as i live in Norwich and what customer service i recieved from van manager Ash, he took over the problem ,personaly picking up the van some 160 miles away and said it would be resolved and he did everything in his teams powers to resovle the fault and he did with no fuss .becuase of this I have bought my new combo long wheel base van ,what a van ,the best one yet. Needed to change my insignia manual to a auto.Have driven past Pentagon many times and decided to go and have a look.Have a great selection of used cars and easy access and parking,had already decided on the mokka but needed a auto.Sales staff were very friendly and certainly did not not push me to buy a car.Took a Mokka 1.4turbo for a test drive and was very impressed car was very clean and well presented again no sales talk when on test drive.I had a budget to work with and decided to purchase was told about extra warranty and other after sales purchases which was offered at a good value.The purchase part exchange and finance was all done with ease couldn't have been easier.Collection date was brought forward as all things were completed earlier and collection was smooth vehicle looked excellent and really pleased so far.Would recommend Pentagon Derby,really professional no pressure and would definitely return when time comes to change again.

Good staff, great parts department, great selection of cars and very helpful, only minor quibble (as with all main dealers) is the price of getting any work done there, particularly if you take your car for MOT there and they suddenly find that you need new wipers when they've got you by the balls so you either pay a premium or fail your MOT. This is nothing new, and wherever possible you should avoid using a main deal for MOT, unless it affects your warranty or you know your car will 100% pass, i.e. they've just sold it you....(check out Allan's Test Centre on Shaftsbury Street in Derby, council run, no messing!)
