I had arranged to see a car on Saturday with Luke. Arrived with my wife on Saturday and was greeted by Luke and offered tea/coffee. Luke was very polite and helpful. The car we were looking at was ready to view at the back. We had a good look round and sorted the paperwork for a test drive. Unfortunately when we went for a test drive there was something wrong with the automatic gearbox on the car as the gear changes were jerky and not at all smooth. Anyway we got back to the showroom and mentioned this to Luke. He drove the car briefly too and found the same issue. We liked the car but such a shame we had this issue on the test drive. Luke did offer to get the issue rectified if we were interested in the car but we had lost confidence in the car at that point. I have bought a car from TC Harrison before and would have no hesitation in recommending them. It was unfortunate on this occasion that things didn't work out.

After having an break down of the only family car this week TCH Derby have been fantastic. My wife was followed in by the AA Man and Craig got the car booked in. After being told that it would be 24 hours too look at having a phone call to say that the vehicle had been check and fault found was great news. Parts ordered and fitted the next day and family happy to have the car back. Visited here Saturday 27th Nov, but our experience started via a telephone call to book the car in for replace front brakes. First of all, when I called I was greeted by a friendly and very helpful lady. During the call she was able to identify and calculate the cost of parts and labour within a few minutes whilst also added my service plan discount. Resulting in me knowing the actual price I was facing for the work. There were options of courtesy cars and taxi service, but I opted to drop off and wait which she even managed to arrange prior to a long distances trip we had planned resulting in us being able to have a Saturday appointment after speaking with the Workshop Controller. This communication is fantastic, going above and beyond. On the morning of the appointment we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming service advisor who also helped me with a couple of other car related questions. I felt very appreciated as a customer and always have the impression nothing is ever too much of a bother. I was given a time to return but I really appreciated the updates I got throughout the appointment. I received a text message when the car was being worked on by the technician and another when the work was completed, followed by a phone call to confirm I could collect. Communication is key, and this retailer does everything I would expect and more. Upon collecting my car and inspecting the completed work I was very happy. I would like to thank the technician, they completed the work without leaving any marks or stains. They left the wheels, driver seat, steering wheel and door handles completely clean and without any marks. Great condition considering they are doing very dirty and dusty work. Amazing experience and customer service throughout, and certainly worth paying retailer prices with this level of service. Really adds that extra trust and confidence which I'm happy to pay for. Going cheaper isn't always better then having Ford trained staff looking after Ford customers.

Approved Ford Dealer for used and new car sales, service and repair. I had a fantastic experience buying a used car here. From initial contact by phone through to driving away my purchase all the staff were lovely. Especially my sales lady, Sarah, who was friendly, straightforward, knowledgeable, energetic and very helpful but not at all pushy or hard-sell. The dealership was easy to find (opposite Pride Park Stadium) and the site itself is huge (with loads of stock) so follow the signs to the bit you need! On arrival I was well looked after. The car was fairly priced and the pros and cons, features and extras were covered thoroughly. Sarah asked enough questions to check it was the right car for me and how I would be using it, but not so many that I felt overwhelmed. I felt that I was given plenty of time to thoroughly check and view the vehicle without pressure. The test drive was useful and happily uneventful. I felt that her priority was to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my decision and had all the information I needed. I chose some optional extras I wanted but felt under no undue pressure to get them all. The part exchange on my previous vehicle was straightforward and easy. Everything was arranged swiftly so I could drive away on the day and I was delighted with the speed, ease and transparency of the whole process. And the car, obviously, which is fantastic. I would gladly buy another car here in the future, and it was worth travelling a bit further away from home to get such excellent customer service. I can't comment on the new sales or service/repair side of things, but for used car sales I would definitely recommend to friends and family. What a pleasure to do business. From start to end Craig in sales was great very informative responded swiftly and made our purchase easy. We also sold a truck to them and again best price was given and the whole process was simple, also when we dropped the truck off I by mistake left a £10 note inside glove box and with 15 mins Craig messaged me to say I had done so, wow how honest he even offered to post it to me which I declined and told him to keep it as a tip but he replied thanks but they sponsor a charity and he would put it in the charity box. The staff were great and understanding. The only downside was that they did not have enough staff on so that they can collect from my house. They normally do. They sorted a free taxi to take me back home which was good. Because they kept my vehicle 2 days longer than they should have they arranged a free taxi from work to the dealership which was good of them. Happy alaround.

Was getting my Sync operating system and SatNav maps updated. They couldn't get it done in a day and had to keep the car overnight. Eventually got it back around 10:30 the following day. It seems to have been done well but it will need time for me to see how good the maps are.

Took my sons car for warranty work (electrical system issue) - we had not bought the car from TCH or dealt with them prior to this; they were efficient and polite and all work was completed in a very timely manner. Excellent service.

I don't usually take my car to the dealership. I expect their prices to be high which they are. Saying that, if you are trade and you go to the parts department you can order non genuine aftermarket parts and they actually beat PCS and Minofern who are automotive parts suppliers whom I have accounts with. I've only taken my car for warranty work and servicing. It's still expensive, but you get AA breakdown assistance and recovery for an extra £20. So, for a Ford stamp in your service book, breakdown, a service and a free health check which is handy if you're due an MOT, my thoughts are that the extra price and a resulting saving on breakdown cover it's hard to call whether it's worth getting my hands dirty and doing the job myself and risk oil on the driveway. I have had a couple of issues with their work, which to be fair they rectified quickly and for free. Thanks for the free Snap-On socket they left in my engine bay. The dealership itself is a nice environment (if it wasn't for the coronavirus restrictions... they even sanitise your key), the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. I've never bought a car from them... so can't comment on that experience.

I have no complaints other than a short wait for the invoice to be drawn up despite arriving at the appointed time. Corvid precautions were good and I felt safe throughout my visit. The company's representative was professional but friendly and was willing to engage in conversation while completing the transaction. The MoT was reduced in price and because of our service contract a brake fluid change was included.

It's not often you see a shining review when a dealer has had your car for 10-weeks (the time taken was not their fault) for a warranty claim, but it's when things go wrong that a car dealer shows its true colors! However, TCH have been amazing throughout, and when I say TCH I mean Pauline – they should never let this woman leave, she is amazing! From the very start, they could have tried to argue they weren’t liable for the issue (that wouldn’t have washed, I review & pick wholes in contracts & consumer law for a living), but they didn’t. They quickly came to the conclusion that they weren’t best placed to fix it so passed it on to the main dealer (it wasn’t a Ford). Pauline chased the other dealer continuously & kept me informed throughout. They got me in to a courtesy car as soon as possible. And to top it off, they put an MOT on the car for me at their expense when it ran out mid-way through the 10-week repair. Like I say – it’s when something goes wrong that a car dealer shows its true colors and TCH’s customer services over this issue (and in general) has been without a shadow of a doubt the best customer service I have ever experienced – and I think I’ve complained about every dealer I have ever bought a car from in the past…credit where it is very much due!

If looking to purchase a morability car. See Caroline - she's amazing. Known her for over 10 years. Had 3 cars from her. Now looking for our 4th. She does not hard sell. She cares about the disabled person and their needs. Whatever they may be. She is very knowledgeable of every car she sells. She helps make sure you get the car that is right for your needs. I was originally looking at the Ford Focus, but i cannot get my wheelchair in the boot. So she suggested the Ford Puma. Which has additional equipment, that will help with my personal disability needs.

Second time here in the last 6 months for a service. I always book in at short notice and they're really accommodating. Last time I was here all day and even got a lift to the shop! Everything explained well and car keys back on time, nice waiting area with free coffee machine, WIFI too so I can work as I wait. I put my Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.6 in for its regular service yesterday with the dealer that I bought the car from in March 2011. The dealer is TC Harrison Ford, Stadium View,Pride Park, Derby DE24 8JH, UK. I cannot praise this company enough ...... in the past I have had an accident (not my fault!!) and the repair centre made the car look as new and they kept me informed all the way through the process which I appreciate. I have had two little problems and the repair centre has dealt with them, no charge. I wanted my tyres checked at the Rapid Fit, and that was dealt with straight away. I never knew it was there - what a fantastic selling point. When I went in yesterday for the regular car service, I was dealt with courteously, and I knew that my car would be checked over fully. Everything about this dealership is of the highest order. I am a single woman and I want a dealer whom I can trust to do the very best for me and to treat me with respect (very important for a woman in the world of cars)...... and TC Harrison, Derby, UK does just that. Well run reception area, very slick in their discussion with me, comfortable waiting area, time to explain everything to me. I could carry on but I hope that you catch my drift.

A great Ford store, a lot of different vehicles to look around. The Ford GT40 is something else! I was left quite disappointed with the ‘Ford Performance event’. Hardly any sales staff around, nobody taking part with test drives as advertised. A friend was waiting over an hour to speak to somebody to test drive and probably buy a new Ranger, unfortunately they didn’t end up being able to speak to anybody and have now bought elsewhere.

I recently bought a car for my son from Steve Duffas at TCH, The car was described honestly and accurately and buying was easy. However buying is the easy bit, you find out about a company when a problem arises, and shortly after purchase, the car developed a serious engine fault. Steve and Richard Topley dealt with the warranty issue immediately, even though we live 100 miles away, and had the issue diagnosed and corrected at a local main dealer of our choice close to me. Steve and Richard always returned calls and and rang me when they said they would. Fantastic customer service and a major repair sorted without issues. I only wish the dealer where the car was repaired were just as efficient!!!! Thank You

I recently had the need to purchase a new commercial vehicle for my company. I wasn't looking forward to looking online and wondering if the vehicle was going to be ok, or getting a sales speak from a sales department at some showroom. However, when passing TCH one day I decided to drop in and have a look. The friendly lady on reception introduced me to Mickey Mee from their commercial team and we set about discussing what type of work I would be using the vehicle for. We discussed a few options and costs, which help me decide on what I felt was best. Mickeys friendly, but professional approach didn't make me feel under pressure. We left it for a couple of weeks while I thought it over. I finally decided on the type of van which would suit, called Mickey and finalised it all without any fuss. I bought a used Honda from TC Harrison Derby. The car was well priced and significantly cheaper than buying at a Honda dealer. Andy Wilson sales executive was was really helpful not pushy like some salesman. I pointed out an issue with tracking on test drive which he sorted out and even had two new tyres put on. I picked up the car and after driving away noticed the rear screen was scratched. Contacted Andy and he agreed that TC H would pay for a replacement. Top class service from Andy and TCH.

Ibought a used ford focus from tch derby in december last year .. within two days the car had an altenator problem ... and i found the nav card missing ......unfortunatly i later had two other issues with the car within the warranty period . so why the 5 stars? because on each occasion i was put through to adrian shales who i belive ran the used car section ...and on each occasion my request for assistance was met with exactly the kind of service that you would want ..i was allowed to take the car to a local ford dealer to repair and it was all sorted for me .... i suppose when buying / selling used vehicles you cannot always tell whats around the corner but... though the car was a bit of a dissapointment adrians service and tch as a whole were first class ...i would highly recommend

OK for a main dealer. If your planning on having a loan car whilst your vehicle is being repaired. .... My advice is don't bother. You will need to provide so much information. ..drive licence check...then they do another check! ...even wanted national insurance number. Plus if you have an accident there is £1000 excess.
