DONCASTER BRANCH. Went in to have my 2017 Nissan Qashqai refrigerant replaced. They explained that this car had two standards dependent on year of manufacture, mine of course was the expensive option. I was dealt with both on the phone and face to face in a friendly and professional manner and saw some banter between staff members. Being ex-military I judge banter to reflect the 'feel' of the establishment. Frankly, I was impressed with the service and the whole transaction. Web services were as good as their word and my online purchase was returned exactly when they said. All in all, Formula One were outstanding . . . thank you

Booked car in for a full service, dropped car off at 08:15, was told by gentleman on desk we were a bit early, as they hadn't even booted p.c. up yet, but as soon as it was on we got booked in, service was cometed at 11:15, with a phone call to say it need a few bits doing, we agreed, and we went to collect car at 14:00 hours, to be told you don't do the air con gas we need, as it is too new? Hard to believe, really, as majority places should do it, something to do with the emissions? But this was deducted off the final bill, apart from that a good job done.

I booked my car in via the internet to have two tyres fitted my appointment was booked for Thursday two days after I had booked and paid for this service. I arrived for my appointment only to be told by the manager that my tyres had not been delivered yet and it Would be that afternoon and I should call the garage at 2pm. I rang at 2pm only to be told that the vehicle bringing the tyres had broken down and it would be Friday now before they could do the work. I rang again on Friday at 2pm only to be told by the manager that my tyres hadn’t been delivered again, the manager rang the supplier and told them that they had let me and him down and made him look unprofessional. He was told that it would Saturday now and I said that I would have to cancel my trip to fit this appointment in after already taking time off work to do the first appointment!!! The manager at the garage was really helpful and polite and very apologetic even though it wasn’t his fault, he managed to get the tyres to the garage late Friday and fitted them so I didn’t have to cancel my plans. Poor service from the internet supplier but excellent service from the garage and manager thank you

Overall I implicitly trust this Garage with my vehicles. There prices are good, there workmanship also very good. Recently I had the misfortune to have to return a vehicle due to a problem with the work. This is where most places either fall on their bottom or excel. The first words from them were ' Sorry you've had a problem' - So rare to hear that these days. The problem resolution was dealt with very well both in-store and at regional level. Despite the issue (intentionally I wont go into the detail) all parties worked well to resolve the issue promptly and fully to my satisfaction. It's early days (post problem) but based on several years experience of good work and now my experience on how they resolve matters when things go the wrong way, I still feel confident with them. Dropped a star only because I had to return the vehicle, otherwise 5 star. Work and great problem resolution (including an apology, which I believe was sincere) re-instill my confidence in some businesses. Will i go back? Absolutely. Well done both Chris's and the team you pulled it back.

Booked online for two new tyres to be fitted. I booked a morning fitting. Turned up at nine o’clock to drop car in and was told that I would have a short wait. That wait was until they put my car in garage at eleven o’clock. Thirty minutes later I was on my way. No problems with the work but think they could of been more upfront with waiting time as sitting for two and half hours is a bit much.

Great place for performance tyres at a decent price. You can either wait with your car whilst they fit your tires or you can drop it off and collect it later. This place is not just for tyres as they are very capable of a whole array of other work you may need doing on your vehicle. Thought the experience was a bit like kwick fit and Charlie Browns , they speak to you about items on your car that really don’t need doing now and are not urgent , they apply a bit of “ this could do with doing “on you to have it done .I could easily see an elderly person or younger person who buckles easy , spending their money to get these items done . Of course they will say it’s all in the name of looking after your car and ensuring it’s safe , but if it passes the MOT then it’s not urgent or necessary. I for one don’t like this approach and won’t be taking it again . Halfords are much more laid back , they will tell you , point it out and leave it up to if you want it no . Period , hence I won’t be going here again

This place offers good prices for the various services that they provide. Tyres, brakes, servicing, etc are all available. They are also a fitting station for other online tyre providers. They always seem to do a decent job. My gripe with this business is with customer service. It's mediocre at best which is why it gets 4 stars.

I always use Doncaster F1 for my tyres purchases as I know I am going to receive a good service at a good price .I have been using the Doncaster branch for many years and have always found the staff and manager approachable always prepared to explain something and take time to recommend without the hard sell approach. I am an automotive engineer they are not aware of the fact but I have found that they have never tried to up sell just for the sake of making work and money for the company . It has always been good sound advice . I shall continue to use F1 for the reasons stated and for the fact I find the manager is prepared to guide his staff not just sit on his backside in an office .

Happy with the tyres & service provided. The process of ordering tyres online was easy. The date of manufacture of the tyres fitted to the car in week 45 (November 19) was wk31-yr19 so in essence were 14 wks/3mths old, ideally I would of liked newer tyres but appreciate I'd ordered summer tyres. I had called into the local branch before ordering online. The only thing I would comment on regarding this, is the attempted upsell whilst in the branch, which was quite hilarious for numerous reasons. Not the upsell itself, most retail businesses will attempt/have standard Q's to ask ultimately to result in extra revenue. It was the tactic used with accompanying expressions. Eg: Being told I cannot put a price on safety (I agree with this in principle in certain circumstances to be true according to the situation or what is being referred to) but it was said to me as I wasn't purchasing the most expensive top of the range tyre (for my 15 yr old 160k 140bhp car. Well, 140bhp when it left the factory!!. Unfortunately its not a 300 bhp golf R, just wiping my tears away - I would put Conti's/Bridgestone Potenzas on a 300bhp car) i believe it would be relevant for that standard/bhp of car. However, for the car in question I was purchasing mid range Avons speed rating Y which are ample for the car and bhp. I've owned it 13 yrs and probably had 5/6 sets of tyres on during ownership. I've never been led to believe that a mid-range tyre (Avons, Hankooks, Dunlops) are unsafe, some outlets class these as a premium tyre. I wasn't putting cheap budget ditch finder NangKangs on. Some people would be gullible enough to purchase the most expensive top of the range tyre on the advice offered I suppose - Kerching!, others not. Also appreciate the offer of tracking checked. I totally understand this would be standard business practice. There were no Q's asked at all/fact finding/demands and needs whatsoever to determine whether the tracking would be out but was still offered. If the tracking is not out prior to changing tyres it shouldn't be after if the tyres are fitted and balanced correctly and the car hasn't hit a massive pot hole driving into the designated tyre bay. As a customer I am to assume and accept the expertise and experience of the fitter. However, if I had of opted for the free tracking check, would I of been surprisingly advised that its out and needed sorting and best to do it there and then. Kerching! I didn't want to leave negative feedback. I was happy with the tyres and service, but unfortunately they have lost a couple of stars based on my experience that day and on my observations of interactions with customers and own experience of dealing with the gentleman on the front desk - who was polite enough, but not convincing with his scare tactics/b.s on this occasion while in the local F1 autocentre. I would of selected 5 stars if it wasn't for this experience this time. On the whole I would do the same again- order online and go back for fitting but would prefer to be spared the scare tactics/b.s. Thanks.

Used kwik fit before and have had a bad experience so was a bit cautious at using formula 1, took my car in for an MOT and it failed on a track rod end which explained the cars steering vibration on the motorway, the car was booked in straight after the MOT , kept informed of progress and the price I thought was very reasonable, all I can say is I'll be trying them again when the time comes ,, 👍

Prompt and reasonable price but no attention paid to correct tyre pressures !. My car required 36 psi all round, the 2 new tyres fitted had 30.5 and 31 psi. They can easily get pressures from label in door frame. I take the view.. you should not be leaving a tyre depot with underinflated tyres....no excuses.

Just called in as had a slow leak on front tyre thought possibly a rim leak. Asked if it could be checked while we took a walk round shop's on retail park next door. On return tyre was sorted and when I asked what was the cost I was told there was nothing to pay.
