I recently took delivery of my new car, bought from Victoria Batty (whose name seems to pop up on nearly every 5-star review!) at Hayselden Skoda in Doncaster. Well, it was no surprise to me that everything was ready, waiting and in order when I arrived. From the friendly welcome, to the moment I drove away, I have to say that my experience of the whole process was smooth. There was one thing that made the difference: Customer Service Excellence. It can be said that in a restaurant, good service can make the food taste better. Well, I felt valued and important at every stage of buying our new car, and Victoria is a credit to the organisation!

I purchased a 2022 Fabia with the fantastic help of Victoria Batty. The whole process was trouble free. After visiting Hayselden Skoda in Doncaster Feb 2022 I was unsure if the time was right to trade in for a new Fabia or if best to wait another year when my PCP deal would expire. Victoria was there to help. She was very professional and I must say a refreshing change from my last experience from another Skoda dealership in Sheffield. Victoria gave me the option to purchase another car with a very favourable part exchange for my 2019 Fabia. We talked through other options and add ons some which I agreed to and some I did not want. There was no pushy sales tactics and everything was easily established. I was told I might have to wait approximately 12 to 14 weeks and that I would be updated. I received several updates from Victoria. I picked my car up approximately 12 weeks later. (Which I absolutely love.) Victoria you were right. I have had my previous car serviced at the same garage and will take my new one there for its services. I cannot recommend Hayselden enough and especially Victoria who is a credit and a huge asset to the company. I will definitely be back in 3 to 4 years for my next Fabia.

Purchased a car for my son on September 7th from Skoda Doncaster. We bought from the main dealer because they are running a great deal that gives you a 2 years warranty, servicing and RAC cover. Car was 3 years old so had some wear and tear on the bodywork that we asked them to fix and they did so. We were quite particular and probably a pain in the backside but Jonathan , Graeme and Simon dealt with us with a lot of patience and understanding, car looks great and my son is delighted. Although from Merseyside I was working in the North esat and found a 2017 superb 190ps L&K edition. I called and spoke to Wayne Parker who told me I could reserve the car for a refundable deposit of £200. I travelled to Doncaster on my way home on the Friday and arrived cranky with Friday traffic vibes. The car was sat out front looking absolutely mint and after a short delay I was on the test drive. I was immediately smitten and committed to buying but wanted to explore all options from PCP, HP and personal loan. Wayne worked hard to keep up with my questions and changes and after a ridiculous bit of catfishing from Santander personal loans we agreed a PCP offer. I actually collected the car on 2nd Oct and drove it home listeng to my Bluetooth music through the premium sound system. It wasn't until the Saturday that I realised that neither DAB or FM/AM radio reception would work. I was also a little concerned about a brake shake from the from the front left corner but put that down to a rusted brake or wheel balance issue. I contacted Doncaster to discuss the radio and was told that because I had a 3 year Skoda warranty I could take it to any dealership to have it looked at. I arranged to take it to my local dealer, Mitchell Skoda and let's just say was very, very disappointed and disappointed with their attitude to warranty faults and customer service in general. I fed this back to Wayne and he eventually offered yo come pick the car up and take it back to Doncaster to resolve. Covid isolation and the second lockdown threatened to push this to December which I was happy to wait for, but in the interim I noticed a poor paint repair on the rear bumper and I got a "check brake pad" warning. I called Wayne to register my annoyance that I'd only done 1500 miles and was not happy with a brake warning. Wayne acted immediately and brought forward the collection date. On the day he arrived in Covid PPE and left me with his freshly cleansed, 70 plate, Skoda Karoq (nice car BTW) Two days later we'd arranged the drop off. Radio working, New pads and disks and the rear bumper paint issue resolved. Wayne and the team at Skoda Doncaster have been excellent from start to finish, still annoyed that the car was signed off with the brakes and that's why its a 4 star review, but from a sales, aftercare and customer service perspective they have been excellent and thoroughly embarrassed my local Skoda dealership which is unfortunate. Because they've walked the walk they have earned my loyalty and I will definitely look to them first for my next new car. Nice work Wayne and the team, thank you very much!
