Bought a used car from this branch a couple of weeks ago. We'd been to a few different branches around the city and felt pressured by pushy sales people, harassing us when we walked onto the forecourt. Our experience at Seafield was different, we were greeted by Erwin who allowed us time to wander and then approached us to find out if we had any further queries. We went around the whole forecourt as a group, shortlisted 5 or 6 cars we wanted to look inside and he got us the keys. He was attentive but not pushy, present but not over bearing and willing to weigh in on features, pros and cons and to share his experience and his customers experiences with different vehicles. We opted to test drive a vehicle on the Tuesday evening (visiting on the Sunday afternoon) and purchased it from the branch after test driving it. We were able to sort the finance on the vehicle on the Tuesday so once we were happy with the vehicle, the terms etc, we drove it away the same day after part exchanging our current vehicle. Recommend contacting Erwin if you want good level of attention but aren't a fan of the traditional over bearing sales tactics.

Recently visited with my God Mother and Ross Hunter was the gentleman who was assisting my god mother. Through out he was very good. Got a couple car keys for her to try different cars. Very covid safe in and outside of the building. What I really liked is Ross seemed to be your different salesman. Usually I get annoyed with the nonsense chatter that I've experienced in the past but Ross was what I can describe as honest, helpful and genuine. Fantastic, friendly and professional service from Kieran Gordon. I was looking to purchase a car with specific requirements in mind, and Kieran was very helpful in finding the right car. I had my Dad with me, and Kieran made sure to involve both of us in the process and I certainly didn't feel like I was overlooked in any way which is always refreshing as a woman buying a car. Part exchanging was no bother at all, nor was paying in cash. We organised to collect the car the following day at 5pm as it needed valeting and tyres changed, however at 9am the next morning I had a call from Kieran to say it would be available at noon! I had been looking for a car when I had spoken to Selisha, I was really unsure on what to get as I was worried about finance and if I would be accepted- Selisha spoke through all my options with me whilst showing me an absolutely stunning car. She had sent a video talking through all the features and everything I would need to know. She organised for the car to be brought up from another garage which was done extremely quickly! Selisha then booked me in with Stuart to do my paperwork as I had been accepted and talked me through all the next stages, she even got me temp car insurance until I could sort my own! Selisha really went above and beyond for me by sitting beside me in the car and showing me every control and button and she even connected my phone to the blue tooth and helped me set up my maps home. Stuart was also very helpful and assisted Selisha. Genuine assets to the company, fantastic members of staff and I could not recommend Selisha and Stuart any more!

Went in on a whim to look at replacing my car. Rico greeted me, asked me what I was after, and was very helpful. The place was clean and cool (during some very hot weather), and I was well looked after with tea and water. I felt I was offered a good price for my part-exchange, and decided to get a new (to me) car. I tried to compare prices with other dealerships in the area, however cursory searches showed Arnold Clark was the same or slightly cheaper. Also, other websites are actually quite tricky to use on mobile when you try to drill down on the details. Rico explained the various services, insurances, and finances they provide, and quickly and fully answered any of my questions. The whole process was very easy, and I picked my car up the next day. My new car was extremely clean, and everyone was very helpful making sure I was all set up and ready to go! Pretty sure they've made me a customer for life!

Great service to begin with from Kevin who was very prompt at replying when we enquired about the car we liked. He sent us an honest and detailed video once we had paid the deposit, highlighting bits and pieces that weren't quite perfect. We felt he'd been very transparent which was great. The trouble began once it was transported to a branch nearer us to collect though as he washed his hands of all responsibility, the touch ups that had been promised didn't look like they had been touched. The car exterior was grubby when we went to collect it, like it hadn't been washed after being transported. The engine bay was full of dust and mud and debris and we discovered a couple more (minor) issues that hadn't been highlighted to us. We tried to negotiate with Kevin as we had accepted the issues he'd showed us but we didn't feel like he'd given us a totally accurate picture, or stuck to his word. No budging at all. Said he'd send us some touch up paint for the damaged paint work and 5 weeks later still waiting. Keen to take your money and the sale, not very good at looking after you, so no repeat custom from me.

Buying a used car is nerve-wracking enough in your home culture. But when you go to buy a used car in a country that is not your "native land," it's enough to make you bite off all your nails on your way to the car store. We have been in the UK for almost a year and have had need to buy two used cars (double stress!). This experience, however, was anything but stressful. In February we bought a Skoda Yeti from Arnold Clark. In late May, we had need of a larger, 7-seater for our family. Our experience with Arnold Clark the first time was so good that we did not hesitate to return and, frankly, did not look anywhere else. Our salesman, Ross Hunter, was absolutely fantastic! He was kind, personable and straightforward. There was no sense at any time that we were being pressured or given a "hard sell." We were confident that we were getting a great product for the best price. Ross was 100% brilliant throughout the entire process. We now have a car that is above and beyond what we expected when we went in. If we have need of a 3rd car (though I hope not for a while!) we won't hesitate to return to this location and to ask again for Ross!

October 2018 I had no ideas of what car to buy after my skoda fabia had done me well after 6 years (120k miles later). I was introduced to Kevin Clark (salesman) and I gave him information that would help greatly with my commute to work. Kevin then helped me choose a Ford focus, which every detail suited my commuting needs. The car was great until the clutch pedal started sticking around late December. I went to Ford as it was still under the manufacturers warranty, they had the car for 4 days giving me all sorts of stories. In the end I took the car back with the fault not fixed. I chanced my luck by getting in touch with Kevin Clark (salesman) to see if he could help since i didn't have the car long. Within a couple's of hours he managed to get me booked in at Arnold Clark. When dropping the car off I was given a courtesy car and within 3 hours they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it the week later while giving me the courtesy car for a week. With Ford's messing about I was really done with the car mentally even though it was fixed. I had in my head I wanted a change of car. Once again Kevin helped me choose another car, which I am thoroughly delighted with. The deal and finance he produced was brilliant, at the time I was genuinely stunned the lengths he went to give me a great deal.
