Walked in this morning to replace batteries in my keys. Welcomed by a friendly and professional staff. All toke less than 5 minutes.
Before I sorted my keys out in Edinburgh branch I was in Hamilton branch.. terrible place. When I walked in, sales guys looked at me like I was homeless. No "hiya", no "how are you?", no "how can I help?". Felt there like an intruder.Approached a receptionist who said she cannot do anything for me because their tech guy is away and will be back in 30mintues or so.
Hamilton branch should learn from Edinburgh how to treat a customer.

Glen Pringle sold me this stunning 2 litre MX-5 RF recently, and I love it - it goes! After I got it home, I noticed some minor scratches to the wing, but David Clark organised to have it repaired and lent me a brand new 1.5 litre soft-top in the meantime, which was different but also pure fun to drive. I’ve got the RF back now and the repair is perfect. Thank you both for looking after me and congratulations to Western Mazda for top-notch customer service. I’ll be back.

Recently bought a used car from here. I live 200 miles from the dealer but have to say that Stephen was excellent at providing information and content about the vehicle I was interested in. Communication was great, service excellent and very accommodating with the management of timelines for preparation and pickup of vehicle. Everything explained fully and no pressure at all. Excellent service from Western Mazda. Have recently had my Mazda 6 serviced and some repair work done under warranty. Was offered a courtesy car and the service staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Car was washed and cleaned on both occasions as well as sanitised with a sticker left on the door window to confirm. It's the small things that matter and Western Mazda do them well.

Took my Mazda 6 in while it was still under warranty for a known issue with the wheels (surface bubbling and peeling ).The man I spoke to (Stewart)was very helpful and pleasant and he told me they would be in touch and didn't think there would be any problem.He said the wheels were on order and it might take a while.After about 6-8 I weeks I used the "contact us"facility to enquire whether there was any news on my warranty claim to be phoned 15minutes later by what I can only describe as a very"abrasive"woman who told me my claim had been rejected and that they had phoned and left a message.As I have both an answering machine in the house and mobile voicemail I doubt this very much.i asked to speak to someone else to be told she was the only one there!4.30pm???She said the claim had been turned down because of something about the service history(full service history) would certainly put you off buying a car from them if this is how they treat people.
I would like to thank manager Phil Hare who looked into my case and cleared up the misunderstanding regarding the warranty,my wheels have been refurbished and are now how they should be.Also many thanks to Micheal who arranged for the work to be done and gave such excellent service 5 star service from both.

Outstanding service received
I have bought a used Mazda CX-5 about a year and a half ago from a Toyota dealer in Bournemouth and have been informed by Mazda about several safety recalls.
Living in Aberdeen now, and having had horrendous "service" from Arnold Clark in the past on a Volvo S-60, I did not trust my local dealership and therefore called Western Mazda Edinburgh to have the safety recalls done and spend a nice weekend with my family in Edinburgh. Also asked for a courtesy car, which was given to me in top-notch condition.
Arrived around 7:45AM, despite them officially only opening at 08:00AM was greeted friendly by a true gentleman, offered some coffee and cookies whilst he got started and then withing 5 minutes was serviced. IF AT ALL - the only slight comment I would made is that the gentleman informed me the the courtesy car had a GBP 12.50 service fee for insurance on it - which - I cannot recall when booking the car in. However, understandable to pay something for insurance. Got the courtesy car and picked up wife and baby from the hotel to take them to the zoo.
Was also informed the car would be ready at 4:00PM and that they would call me, but also that they would close at 04:30PM.
Was called at around 4:00PM - already on the way back to Western Mazda - when putting some fuel in the courtesy car and when arriving there, the car was ready - all safety recalls dealt with, nicely washed AND vacuumed - what a treat! On top of it - they had closed the job and did not charge me anything for the courtesy vehicle, which I found REALLY generous and nice.
Driving away with my Mazda CX-5 - I immediately noticed that several functions performed much better. It was driving smoother, the i-stop kicked in more often (which before was a bit of a mystery when it came and what it did not) and was overall VERY happy.
Have to say - that with an experience like this, I am seriously thinking to have the car next serviced there - and not at a local garage - as I was so pleasantly surprised with their friendliness on the phone when booking, their call-backs, the experience with the gentleman at the location, and above all their work.
Well done Western Mazda Team! I can only HIGHLY recommend you!

Sales staff over past few years, and 5 Mazda cars, have been excellent and extremely proficient. Service though leaves a lot to be desired, extremely hard to get someone to talk to, and despite giving all your info to a receptionist, once thru, you have to give it all again. Warranty is another whole ball game, don’t beleive what your told, as from past experience I have at a cost found out that they don’t follow through with this. No more sales from me I’m afraid !!
