Highly recommended Joe the Salesman and Tommy one of the Managers (if needed). I had bought a car I loved, however unfortunately, I think I was just unlucky as it needed various repairs in the 9 months I had it. I was unhappy & had lost faith in the car going forward. I called to speak to Tommy about this and he invited me to come to meet with him face to face to discuss. We had a great productive conversation and he fully understood my worries and concerns. He managed to get a settlement on my car, where I received the full amount back! He also helped me choose a new car and personally called another branch to find out further info and check the condition of the new car. I ended up choosing a Kia with an excellent warranty, and also managed to get a 2 years free servicing and MOT offer with Arnold Clark which could be increased to 3 years for only £100 - no brainer. From start to finish Tommy and Joe went above and beyond to help and ensure I was fully happy with the new car. After initially thinking Arnold Clark could/would not do anything to help as I'd had my previous car 9 months, I was so pleasantly surprised! I really appreciate all their hard work and I'm really happy with my new car and the even better deal I managed to get! Thank you Tommy & Joe and all the other lovely helpful staff I dealt with every time I called, including your Admin Team. See you in 3 years!

Phoned up Arnold Clark Hyundai in Alexander Parade Glasgow they took my car in just before I went for a short break. Kept it serviced and MOT done with 1 minor repair. DVLA would not renew the road tax due to my not being able to get the car MOT. Arrived home from my break car as good as new. Thank you to all the staff at this difficult time for me. So greatfull.

It is based on my friends telling me never ever buy a car from Arnold Clark. I thought I need to give them a chance as I never base my opinions on other people's information. Oh my god. Arnold Clark Glasgow Alexandra parade was very very welcoming. Covid restrictions applied throughout. Last minute test drive of a car was done with no issues. Having a greeter outside welcoming you was just great. It was actually a very high standard of customer service. I could not believe it. After all I heard. It's gone, it's gone. Car ordered awaiting delivery. I was very happy with the level of service in this specific store. Disabled wheel chair user access very good. Lift inside. Toilets inside. Tea coffee etc inside. Uch it was just not what I was expecting. I was expecting a bunch of charlatan's. Totally got the complete opposite. Update 14/07/18 - Arnold Clark Alexander Parade have sorted the issues. After the i40 spent weeks in and out of the Dumfries branch with issues that were never fixed, Joe & William in the Hyundai branch replaced the car for a newer vehicle. Keeping my review at 3 stars due to the issues at the start, but all has now been resolved and hopefully back up and running. Thanks guys. UPDATE from my previous review 4 weeks ago - Including Dumfries Branch 1/6/18 - There are serious transmission issues with the car. This has been confirmed by a Dumfries Ford Arnold Clark mechanic. Arnold Clark are refusing to even diagnose the full problem under warranty. They are refusing to repair under warranty. I'm getting dragged around in circles by the Ford Dumfries branch with multiple promises of calls back which never happen, and empty replies that have little info. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I'm now having to look at legal action to get to a result since Arnold Clark are happy to totally ignore the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It states that a car must be fit for purpose and of satisfactory condition. A car whos gearbox is failing within 4-5 weeks of ownership does not come under either of those clauses. Arnold Clark are in breach of the law and are taking no responsibility. -- Original Review with another branch - Very annoyed with Arnold Clark Hyundai at Alexandra Parade Glasgow. I bought a 2012 i40 from them two weeks ago. On the purchase date, the test drive all seemed well. It wasn't until the purchase was complete that we realised one of the daylight running lamps was not working. When we spoke to the salesman Joe, his reply was "That's an £800 part, we don't fix it". We ended up speaking with the manager who agreed to cover the cost of a used part at £250 (I had to find one on eBay at the time via my phone). During the 90 mile drive home, the engine management light came on. I got the car home and it went into a local Arnold Clark to be fixed a few days later. They also lost the spare key for the vehicle. The salesman Joe said it would be found and posted out to me in a couple of days after purchase. Later that week I got a call saying it was lost, and I would be booked into my local branch to get the key cloned. Today I called up to make the booking for the key, only to be told I can't do it at my local branch since it is an Arnold Clark Ford. If I want to get it done at the local Hyundai garage I have to pay for it myself. My only option is to book a day off work and take the 200 mile round trip to Glasgow to get the key cloned. When I asked if my fuel and day off work costs will be covered, I was told no, and I I'll get a call back from Joe at some point to discuss the issue. The fact that I was told I can have the key sorted here, and now I'm being expected to spend the money on fuel to drive 100 miles each way to Glasgow & back, and to take a day off work to do it is very annoying. On top of all this, I test drove and bought the car on the weekend where the free night in a hotel promotion was running. It was only after the purchase of the vehicle that I was told that it is not part of the promotion and I wouldn't receive the benefit. When I spoke to staff in another Arnold Clark branch, they informed me that I should have received the promotion and the Glasgow branch were wrong. There has been nothing but problems since purchase, & I'll never be buying from Arnold Clark again.
