Fantastic service from the moment I contacted Clarkson to dropping the van off. Laura initially didn't have availability for Saturday but advised she had availability for Sunday. She took my number and said if she had a cancellation she'd contact me. True to her word she phoned and we got the van for Saturday. On arrival we picked up the van on time and it was spotless. Used Barry to buy a van for our new business. As it was our first, and a big investment, we were keen to know we were buying the right van for a fair price. Barry was recommended to us and instantly from the first van he showed us we were to trust the quality of the stock, the prices and why we should buy from him. Once narrowed down it was no trouble at all, the van came with new brakes and tyres, in excellent condition and Barry even put us in touch with a company who put the signage on for us in advance of picking up the van. Really great service and would recommend to anyone.

Hired the 9-seat minibus for a family holiday and so glad i went to Clarkson. Minibus was well maintained, spotless inside and out, seats were comfortable for everyone including me (the driver) drove 800 miles and was such a comfortable drive considering the distance. Also the minibus just fits in to a normal car parking space so didn't have to go park it miles away in a coach park. Very economical too, for 800 miles it cost £120 in fuel and that was with 7 adults and 1 child, the train ticket for a single adult was £186 so it was significantly cheaper to hire the minibus! Been to Clarkson a few times before this hire and will be back again purely because of the customer service, quality of vehicles and the price. Highly Recommend.

We recently hired a van from Clarkson to do a removal. It was booked online, which was quick and easy. On the day of hire, I was greeted by friendly staff, who processed the hire in a timely professional manner. This was the same when returning the vehicle. Great service!! Can not thanks Barry and the team enough. Picked up our rental car (Suzuki Vitara) and hired it for a week to go to Fort William. The car was an absolute dream and the team went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible. This was my first time hiring a car so was a little nervous, after searching for a while Clarkson of Glasgow were the best value, who had a welcoming service and seemed to really care about the service they were offering. Needed a fleet of vans last-minute, everyone else seemed to make life difficult. The Clarkson team made the whole transaction painless. From first phone call to the point where I had five vans heading down the motorway took less than thirty minutes. All the vans were clean, well specified and fuel efficient. Couldn't ask for more. To my surprise having left my car at the depot when I returned the van I was driving my car had received a valet!. Above and beyond. Top class customer service doesn't cost any more. Not only was the vehicle imacculately presented, it did the job asked of it with ease. I've used other hire companies in the past but I've never met a warmer or more customer centered bunch of people than I did at Clarksons yesterday. On top of that, the only other thing to mention is the hire center is very conveniently placed and easy to get to ...just off Junction 9 on the M8 with a fuel depot right across the road it doesn't get any easier. Bought a van from Barry about a year ago and honestly couldn't fault his professionalism from start to finish, I'd been to 3 or 4 places looking for my new van and they just didn't listen to my requirements, it was either too big or too dear, I had a budget and they all wanted an up sell... 1 call to Barry on the Friday morning to explain exactly what I needed and I had the absolute perfect van for collection on the Monday afternoon, cheaper and less miles than any of the other dealers that I'd been to. How good is that ... 26 miles on the clock.. I was the first customer to hire this brand new Renault Traffic Van from Barry and the Team at Clarkson's , Bailleston , Glasgow. I felt nervous driving such a shiny new one but all was fine. I've been going to Clarkson for vans longer than its motoring namesake has been getting his hair permed. And unlike the latter, I get treated as a friend every time. Van sales but not as you know it. Where else will you find vans machine polished and prepared to a standard you probably wont find on a car forecourt, never mind a van forecourt! Overall good service BUT I had much less then quieter tank. Returnwd back quoter (didn't want to get any fines) tank and explains that I spend over 7-10£ more on petrol than I should. Lady in reception told nothing they can about petrol. I was so disappointed...ovielsy she didn't want to do anything. Which petrol level fearful and make immidiate notes if there is down than 1/4
