AMAZING I can’t recommend Mercedes Benz of Glasgow enough! I recently bought my first ever Mercedes’ car and it was such a joy purchasing it. I had the fabulous Sophie helping me who went over and above. I was so indecisive on colour etc but Sophie spent ages with me helping me pick my car out and answered all my questions (and there was a lot!!). It was a huge deal for me to get a new car and when the day had come for me to pick it up, Sophie made it so special. I will always remember how lovely it was picking up my first brand new car and that was thanks to Sophie. If you are thinking of getting a new car, ask for Sophie Robertson - she’s the best! Customer service at its best. I called Maureen Hay (Mo) less than 2 weeks ago and took delivery of a new electric car today. Not only was the service speedy, efficient and friendly, Mo was also extremely professional and dealt with everything - meaning no hassle for me. Me and my partner where looking to buy a pre owned A class Saloon, we tried a few dealerships but they didn’t quite have what we where looking for We decided to pop into this Mercedes branch. We where introduced to Dillion, and within half an hour we had agreed a part exchange for our car which we had gotten a fair amount more than elsewhere had offered. One week later and We are now proud owners of a brand new A class saloon which we are delighted with! I We purchased our first vehicle from your store in Glasgow (Stratstone) in February 2020. This was actually our first ever Mercedes. When we came into branch we were browsing and had no real intention to buy. Mainly because we were not confident about affordability. Within half an hour of speaking to Darren and Carrie, we quickly realised there’s a car to suit every budget and actually, we were able to have a brand new car, something which we’ve never been able to do. Darren explained the advantages of a new car and we were so surprised that we could have all this for an affordable monthly payment. What really appealed to us was the level of quality and detail in the car, the choice of personalisation, the added little extras eg. Mercedes me app, ambient lighting, first years breakdown cover. It felt exciting to experience this, and Darren was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, swiftly showing us how all the benefits worked. I have to say, throughout this process, he was constantly in touch to update us, and went above and beyond to sort everything for us and really made us feel the excitement and joy that every customer should! Carrie was exceptional too, so friendly and helpful and nothing was a hassle. I have no doubt that our next car will be a Mercedes, and I look forward to calling Carrie to find us the best deal! I’ve never written a review before about purchasing a car, but both of us agree that this was the best experience we’ve ever had. When we came to collect the car, we expecting a lengthy process of paperwork and contracts....instead we were greeted with our car waiting in the showroom, a quick guide about the controls, out set of keys and a handshake followed by a very enthusiastic “enjoy your new car, it’s all yours!” I can honestly say Darren and Carriearw two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. Carrie also came to wish us good luck personally which was lovely, just a great team of people and like I said, we look forward you coming back in a few years. A year later and we still love our car!

After being treated with absolute apathy from other dealerships, we decided to go to Statstone Glasgow, even though we live in Fife. Wow!! The customer service we received from Sophie Robertson was outstanding. Unlike some other car sales persons, she is warm, friendly, polite, down to earth, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Miriam had contacted me before the MOT to confirm the booking and I received multiple updates throughout the day of the MOT. Furthermore, on collection of my car, Miriam was also able to email me the MOT Certificate straightaway. I bought an A Class for my grandmother from Mercedes Glasgow. The initial sales process was less than smooth with the car i originally put a deposit down on, having incorrect spec listed. After finding another car and having a less than satisfactory sales experience, I was passed to Ian Walterson to handle the handover and documents for the car. After buying many cars from luxury brands, Ian is by far the best person I have ever dealt with in a luxury car showroom. He is polite, helpful, professional and honest. Nothing was too much and he made the whole process very smooth and easy. He rectified issues in the sales side for me also and ensured that all items that were discussed were addressed prior to pickup. His communication was fantastic and I was always kept in the loop via phone and email with anything that was going on. Ian then ensured the car was covered and presented to my grandmother in a grand manner. This made the whole experience incredibly special. Overall, after a shaky start to the whole sales process, Ian gave me faith in the brand again and made this experience one of the best I have ever had. This is the level of service you expect from a Luxury brand and I am extremely glad that Ian is in Mercedes Glasgow now to bring a step up in the level of service that the showroom now provides to its customers.

Bit of a good/irritating situation with buying the car. Allan (first salesman) helped us out with all things required and never tried to push any sales onto us, he accepted what we wanted and helped sort out the deal. Because Allan was off the following two days, it was passed to his colleague Andy to help sort out outstanding finance. Andy kept in touch if there was any issues that required info from our end. On the third day (when we picked the car up), we had little to no communication from the sales team with regards to updates on the car. Waited the full day to receive the API email and still never received it. Never received a pick up time, regardless being told on Saturday that we would be picking up the car on Monday. I phoned several times with no one from sales answering. It was reception that then informed us that Andy had passed the sale onto Ian. It seems to be this handover where the issues started to form. I was eventually put through to the handover team by reception, and they acknowledged the situation. They got the car into valet there and then, and told us to come in at the time we should have expected on Saturday. Once at the store, Danielle looked after us and helped bring the standards back up to where they started on Saturday, and helped push the sale through. Overall a great experience dampened by a lack of communication and effort in the middle.

The young gentlemen who lookrd after me was called lewis Watson and I have to say his service was 1st class. He showed me the car that I secured online but I knew immediately that it was not for me.. lewis proceeded to take the time to talk to me to find out what I was looking for and within minutes located keys to some cars that he thought I would like. When visiting your branch the other day, after coming straight from a rude encounter with BMW, I was, for the first time, utterly astonished by the service I received. An unexpectedly fantastic experience at a dealership which ive always had a poor opinion of. I was out a couple Saturdays ago on behalf of my son and his wife to find a car that would be suitable for their twins when they are due next month. I was greeted by the beaming smile of a delightful young lady sammeha who very kindly insisted upon helping me and moved the car seat and pram I had brought with me into 4 different cars so that I could see if the sizing was right and sharing with me her extensive knowledge of each car in doing so (as well as having an excellent politics discussion with me!) During our recent visits to the garage , Abby and Faz were extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Abby dealt with our buying of the vehicle and absolutely nothing was too much trouble - we felt very comfortable and not rushed into making our choice. However despite arranging handover around a week in advance, on the day there were just too many issues (7), which we feel would have been avoided or at very least known about if the vehicle checks and preparation were more thorough in advance. This left us feeling quite anxious and we think made the handover staff uncomfortable too. However since then Faz has dealt with the situation very ably and professionally and has kept us informed – good communication can help a huge amount when things don’t go to plan. Now as everything appears to be resolved we’d like to say that every time we have visited the garage, both Abby and Faz made us feel very welcome and dealt with our needs as if nothing was too much trouble. Popped in to see a car that was advertised and was welcomed by Aliyah who took my details and passed these to salesman Stephen whilst she took me on a test drive. One we returned I met with Stephen and completed the sale - totally hassle free! Left the showroom and advised someone works be in touch to arrange collection. Couple on hours later I received a call from Ian Walterson who advised he'd be dealing with the handover and we agreed day and time. When I arrived to collect the car, Ian was finishing up with another customer so Vicki welcomed me and went through the details until Ian was free. Ian then did the "unveiling" not really my bag but hey ho, I can see that some folk would like it. The business is going through big changes as they return to proper customer service, and it shows. Superb service from Pamela showing the car, Sophie trying to get the sale, a patient if frustrating Andy, and finally an incredibly knowledgeable Euan of the handover team, the handover of the car was pure theatre. Marked a star down, because no matter how many times it was patiently explained to me about their prices being reset by head office, I didn't appreciate the car being increased in price between when I arranged to travel 140 miles to view it, and arriving in Glasgow. Stratstone need to look at this, I cannot think of any other retail where the online price would not have been honoured.

Good for getting service done, they have a coffee area and WiFi so I can work while I wait. They seem to offer honest advice on work needing done as well which I can't say for other Mercedes franchises (Arnold). The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is that the last 2 times I've been in I've asked them to fit the Mercedes Me adaptor. Both times they forgot, on the second time I reminded them before I took the car away. Guy spent ages trying to get into his own system and failed so suggested he would email me which I assumed was related to the activation. Couple of hours later I get an email telling me I need to have the adaptor fitted (the very thing I have been asking them to do!) and I would have to bring the car in to get it done! Suitably unimpressed I emailed back explaining the history and asked that it be passed onto the service manager. I never heard anything back so I can pay assume the service manager didn't care or never got the email.
