R. D.PCN test done here at the old car boot site on Hempstead Lane this morning, staff were outstanding, felt safe, and bright, cheery staff made the 10 minutes I was there easy and professional. Thank you all and stay safe..
P. C.I received a message on Sunday morning from NHS about getting a covid test, has I had come into contact with someone. I booked an appointment, for 8-30 that morning. When I arrived it was all well organized, drove straight in got my test kit. Did what I had to handed in back, staff were all on the ball great job excellent.

S. i. M.Large Sunday Car boot great for the family, the fruit traders are lovely and give you decent ripe fruit at an excellent price. Lots of stalls, lack or parking is an issue and I advise to get there early. A lovely Sunday morning, summer outing!
Please be wary of dodgy individuals walking around trying to sell stolen goods! No police around either!
T. C.I love rooting through car boot sales, and you can get some real gems here. Bought a fabulous sledge, but still waiting for it to snow.
Free car parking and plenty of stalls, plus what looks like a regular market.
M. P.I like this car boot. Its on most of the time but in summer it gets really busy. It has hard standing pitches and grass pitches too. Although it gets very busy in the summer its still great. You can pick up massive bargains. Always a variety of sellers. Also a meat man and toilets.
J. S.I've been to this carboot several times on a Wednesday, it's mainly traders and flea traders on this day but you can still pick up a few bargains. It's free entry/parking which is a bonus and I like the fact it's on during the week, definitely give it a visit at least once :)
P. D.There seems to be more traders and less private booters than there used to be and it would be nice if it could follow the lead of other local boot sales in not allowing dogs. I have witnessed dogs there standing up to each other and owners having to pull them apart while children have been close by. It's a pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning though.

👎 Toilet facilities desperately need an upgrade as does the road into the carpark. The entrance is shocking. Like driving on a lunar landscape, terribly potholed.
G. H.Plenty of stalls. Loads of bargains. Fruit stall, meat lorry cut price cake stall. Plus places to grab a sit down and a coffee and chips. Always enjoy a couple of hours here. Recommended
R. S.On a good weather day, this can be a huge car boot sale. Open every Sunday and Wednesday mornings. A real mix of sellers from antiques to bric-a-brac. Even in bad weather a few die-hard sellers will be there! A lot of fun to visit.
A. M. (. L.Quite a nice car boot, but as you'd expect it's hit and miss dependent on sellers. A lot of market stalls there fill it out, but the real success often depends on the weather and the quality of the car boot sellers.

The traders are helpful and the buyers are polite and will test your negotiating skills. The security of the site is low but theft is low as well. You can make a good amount of cash on your unwanted goods. All in all a good morning out

I agree with another reviewer that there was too many people with their stuff laid out on the floor and not on tables.
Some looked like they had dragged it out of their boots and left it in a messy heap where it landed.
How anyone expects to sell anything like this is beyond me.
We bought nothing.
After having a good walkabout we headed towards the toilets .
What a laugh that was. The toilet block was shut and there was ONE portaloo .
After seeing the queue of 7 blokes stood there i decided to hold on. (Being female) The thought of sitting in there after all them .ugh.
Surely with the amount of people there that is not in line with health and safety.
So for us a disappointing day.
Probably wouldn't return.

V. S.A great market. Sellers range from antiques to garage clearance. Some comercial sellers. As well as good quality fruit and veg at excellent prices.

P. R.I had a Sunday Roast, which I would not recommend however, the service was great and the staff very welcoming. I may go back to try the authentic cusine but I would not go here for English food.

M.As far as car boots go this was okay, it has a range of things but it mainly is other peoples junk to fill your house with.
