Had excellent service from this service station. They discovered a crack in my wheel when removing my existing tyre, kept my vehicle safe for a few days whilst I sought a repair elsewhere. I also had a brake judder on some discs they'd fitted previously, which had only done about 7k miles. They had these replaced under warranty, no quibbles and at no cost to me. All with a helpful, friendly approach. Couldn't ask for more.

Excellent customer service on the telephone, will be paying them a visit soon to have my wheel alignment checked. Unfortunately when I did visit the workshop to have the front wheel alignment checked, they couldn't put my car on their ramp. I had previously informed them twice that my car was on coilover suspension. Staff were polite and apologetic to my situation.

A decent coolant exchange and even pointed out that my tyres were a bit low, but they don't pressure you into buying anything. Definitely one of the most trustworthy garages and there's not many left in Ipswich. I only ever give garages 1 chance not to screw up my car like leaving bolts loose or using a 400Nm air gun to do up my wheel bolts which damages the bolts, and then I will switch garages. But F1 is a no-nonsense garage and they seem to know what they're talking about.

I needed to get my cars air con regassed. I checked out a few places in Ipswich for prices and F1 Autocentre was the best price and I managed to get a £5 discount code, which for my car made the price £54. They had good availability for time choices which I had to ring up to get but booked in for 9am. They told me it would take around an hour and it did and it was great everything was fine and now my car has air con again with cool air after around 4 years of only blowing our warm air at me. The staff although only a small amount of interaction due to corona virus, was very pleasant and professional. Will definitely be returning if needed. I have heard that garages tend to tell you your car needs more work done than is true however none of that here. The guys checked my tyres for me as well which came up legal which was a bonus. Definitely recommend.

Put my car in for an mot and I had a couple of issues, the tpms and dtrl. Put air in tyre and reset the tpms and they replaced my dtrl bulb for free as I had already paid via paypal. Couldn't be happier. Excellent service, Friendly and helpful.

Got a puncture on the way to work, changed to the spare and walked in to ask if they had time to take a look at it. Dropped my wheel off with them to repair the tyre (not pre-booked). Booked an online MOT. I was offered a free summer safety check as well as a free front wheel alignment, which I said that I would like. Collected the car afterwards to find out the free stuff hadn't been done! Make sure you let them know before dropping the car off to them otherwise you'll be left disappointed! Car had a couple of advisories however they were unable to tell me which side of the car they were for!

Very helpful even with no appointment! I went to work in the morning and realised I had a flat tyre. So I pulled up outside Formula One and they sorted everything for me so quickly. The good: best price on the Internet (by some way) for a "name" brand tyre for my car. And not telling me I needed a new tyre when I didn't (garage which serviced my car told me I needed two new tyres, not one. I just bought one, as one was damaged). The bad: please bring in proper appointment times, not just am/pm. Had to get a taxi back to work and collect car after work, as after 90 minutes it still wasn't being worked on. EDIT - they've now got appointment slots and my car was dealt with 5 minutes after arrival.

No problem AGAIN. I found i had a puncture rather than as i thought, a seal not holding. As i know the prices on line can be a little cheaper, i went away, booked my tyre and returned a few days later ( they could have supplied if i had been in a hurry) to have it fitted. I was very pleased with the service I received from the staff at Ipswich when I had four tyres fitted to my car recently so I returned in January 2018 to have my brakes checked. After a recent (Oct 2017) BMW service, the BMW adviser told me the brake pads would need replacing very soon. I expected that cost (at least) this month. At F1 Ipswich I was looked after by at least three members of staff professionally and I was extremely pleased when the fourth adviser (who inspected my car) informed me that there was some good news and the expenses for the brakes were nothing to worry about just yet. He explained there was less wear on the braking system than I had anticipated. I'm a single father of three children so the news of a lesser strain to my finances this month was fantastic. The staff explained the braking system on my car to me and that I would receive warning lights. I was already aware of some of the information however the adviser continued to explain the difference in the wear between the front and rear pads. I was also worried about the disks but I was reassured. When I collected the vehicle I was also offered financial products and alternative services which I will consider because they were informative and not offered in a pressurised way. All of staff were kind, helpful and in a manner so professional - from initially discussing me coming in over phone to handing my car back to me. Excellent advice and professional care. I would recommend F1 Autocentre Ipswich to anyone.

Firstly I did the internet trawl for 4 new tyres for my vehicle , The Formula One website was clear easy to follow. I called terry at the Fitting station asked If i could pop in for advice re the tyres, yes no problem. I went down about a month later he very quickly was kneeling on the floor near my front then rear tyres to explain the original tyres of the vehicle were no longer supplied supported by a search on his computer. printed me a quote and as an aside suggested I might like to check on line as the price might be better. I did that and saved about £60 more off of an already competitive price. Ordered them on line , and I must say that process was logical and extremely simple. I selected a day that suited me about an hour and a half later a charming polite lady called to confirm that the tyres should be available when I required them. the day before I got a confirmation text for my appointment. dropped the vehicle off the next morning went for a walk came back 4 new tyres fitted Terry friendly and very polite . I would HIGHLY recommend the company the staff and my treatment. mike

My garage of choose for the last 3 or 4 years after being ripped of from several other places in ipswich think I've finally found some where that does the job there meant to do without adding extrase and doesn't treat you any differently cause your a women. Booked on line paid 109 for short service and mot. Took car around 8.15, centre opens at 08.30. They took keys on time although outside the shop as they seemed to still be opening up. Surprised I had no contact by 2pm. I phoned and they had only just started the service as only had 1 person who does the service. Phoned again at 4, some minor issues with mot. Finally got car around 5pm. Only issue with F1 autocentre is the time they took and made no contact with me throughout the day.

I used to go for branded tyres, but last set I thought I'd take a punt on the better of their own branded tyres instead and they've been just as good for half the price. I was a bit wary of buying tyres online then have someone else fit them but I need not have worried the on line purchase was very easy and if your unsure of your tyre size or type all the tools are there to help. Once that bit is done you just have to click on the date you want them fitted and am or pm find your nearest f1 fitting centre all you have to do is turn up. My tyres were there and work soon began.there was a decent waiting room with TV drinks machine and toilet.when tyres were fitted and tracking checked it needed adjustment but no work was carried out until I was consulted.so all in all a first class service ,excellent prices and will be using them again.
