I knew what car I wanted and absolutely loved the experience from start to finish, as it should be. Darren was amazing, he wasn't pushy at all and was very knowledgeable about the car and indeed any others I asked about. The car was exactly what I was looking for, small problems ie windscreen chip were sorted out and I had a great price on my old car too. Everything was so easy including the paperwork at the end and I left feeling reassured I had the best deal ever. Well done Darren you are a credit to Hammond Cars!

Purchased a Mercedes glc 220d just over three weeks ago bought insurance cover 1200 for three years cover. Have now got problems with ad blue additive the AA insurance will cover all parts and testing but only forty seven pounds plus vat labour and Mercedes are one hundred and eighty pounds plus vat per hour whos being ripped off . Spoke to Mercedes head office as the car is 2017 registered tough down to us for the excesses didn't think at the time about labour threshold so the morral of the story is do your research read the small print and ad blue is known fault mercedes wont acknowledge it . Sorry the car needs a system update think twice about buying a mercedes

Hammonds bought my Jaguar from me on Thursday morning. By Thursday at 3pm the money was in my bank. I hardly had to do anything except sign a couple of forms. UPDATE: I wrote the below review three weeks ago. A week later I saw the car back on sale again in auto trader. I phoned up and this time I managed to speak to Kieran (I may have spelt his name wrong here), who assured me that the car did not go through on finance and it was available. So I set off again to purchase it. This time my experience was 5*. Kieran was brilliant. He looked after us well and did everything he can to give me a pleasant experience. And I bought the car I wanted after I thought I was lost it due to the injustice felt the previous week. ———————————/////// I have organised to test drive and purchase a bmw 5 series, Yo17wzu, after seeing it in the Autotrader. I phoned up on Monday the 14th sept, yesterday- Friday the 18th and three times today (twice with queries and the final one to ensure the car was still available). Each time I was told the car is still available. I also asked to book an appointment, I was told they do not do this. When we arrived, we were given a set of keys to look around. Then we asked to test drive. A little while later we were told by Nigel that the car has been sold! This news was revealed to us without much apparent sympathy. We travelled for 1.5 hours. No compensation was offered. In my profession, time is money! I bought with me two other professionals. Apart from my personal disappointment, there is a problem with the way we, as customers have been treated! The other problem is their communication system! I have been completely put off by this company!

A very relaxed and transparent process. All the people we spoke to and dealt with were very professional, very helpful and did everything they could to answer our questions and provide information about the car we were interested in. On arrival we had a friendly welcome (and well needed cup of tea!) and left to our own to look round the car and go out for a test drive. Absolutely no pressure to buy and very helpful and quick process when we did go ahead with the purchase. Extremely pleased with the car and a very competitive price comparable to private purchase. The description was extemely accurate and we were reassured by the checks that Hammond carry out on the car before selling. Drove the new car away the same day. I purchased my Renault Captur from Hammond Cars in Ipswich last summer. The reason I have left it so late to review is simply because I wanted to own the car 6 months to allow for any issues to arise and I am pleased to say my car has been issue free! First of all the level of service was first rate ( I think the person I dealt with was called Ben, a big friendly giant of a man!). I was a bit of a nightmare in truth and they accommodated my requests without any fuss and nothing was too much trouble (ie wanting to pick the car up early). They had an amazing range of vehicles to choose from and the prices are excellent! Although I hope my car will last me many years I will definitely buy my next car from them again. They offer finance and vehicle leasing but I chose to buy my car outright. They really do offer all to all and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Ok so we go out to just take a look but doesn't go to plan and end up buying a car again. This is the second time I have brought a car from hammonds. First time was when they were first open and then back in July. On both occasions we weren't pressurised into buying a car, which was a relief. We had a slight issue with a dent in the door (small dent) but Chris arranged for the dent to be removed. The service that we received was brilliant and I have no problems with recommending and buying again in the distant future.

Rich - Braintree. Really pleased with every stage of buying a car from Hammond - Ipswich. I had never used them before or even heard of them until a couple of months ago but having been disappointed by the sales people at the Vauxhall main dealer in Chelmsford, with their general indifference to me or the spec of vehicle I was looking for, I decided to look further afield. The Guys at Hammond actually wanted to help me buy the right car but there was no pressure from them. In fact I walked away and called the next day to leave a deposit when I was sure about my decision. When it came to collecting and paying for the car, nothing was too much trouble. They also included £20 of fuel. (A token gesture I know but not something I've got when buying from Network Q in the past). The only slight issue I discovered, was that the spare key didn't fit. They were very apologetic and have even paid for a 2nd key through my local Vauxhall dealer. I couldn't be happier with Hammond and the car. We will be returning to them when we change our other car. In comparison to main dealers, Hammond car prices are far better. So if you want a car that’s still probably under the manufacturer’s warranty without paying excessive main dealer prices, I thoroughly recommend Hammond.

Brought a nearly new car from Hammonds (Norwich, Longwater Lane) and could not fault the service. Nathan went to great lengths to give us all the time and information needed for us to make a purchase. He arranged for a car to be brought from the Great Yarmouth branch to Norwich within an hour so we could test drive, and had the vehicle ready for us to take home the same day. Noticed a few minor issues with the car the next day, so called Nathan the following weekend, who was more than happy for us to come back, so the problems could be rectified. The car itself is in a great condition, lovely to drive, with enough room for a couple of huskies and a sled in the back, which I'm hoping will also be available on finance at Hammonds, ready for the winter. If you could start searching Nathan and let us know when we can have a sled ride. :)
