I took my car there a few days again to get my handbrake sorted and the customer service there was brilliant. Very friendly atmosphere. Jay, the person who I dealt with, made me feel very welcome and kept me up to date with what was going on. He even made me a coffee! It was my birthday that day as well so he tried his best to speed things up. I normally use the Kettering branch but I'd happily travel further to this branch! Took my car in for its free health check. Really quick turnaround, informative video advising the issues found. Jay also called to go through the repairs and asked if I wished to go ahead. I took my Ford SMAX in for its MOT this morning and I’m pleased to say that it passed with flying colours. I was professionally greeted by Jay, who always seem to make you feel welcomed and relaxed, and I’m able to relate to him and worries I have concerning the vehicle to him. Throughout the time of the MOT I was sent a video feedback of checks carried out, I was very impressed, and to finish off my vehicle was washed and cleaned throughout. I can honestly say that my experience dealing with Evens Halshaw has always always been straight forward, as this my second vehicle brought from this branch and every time it’s always been with a first class service they have to offer. A really positive experience! Was anxious about buying a new car but the process was made so simple and straight forward. From the second you enter the staff greet you with a smile and before anyone moans about they mustn't have been wearing masks they were but you can tell when someone is smiling under them . Again car was repaired before the scheduled time given, Rhonda and her team always keep you upto speed with your vehicle and will go out their way to explain things to you .I even over heard one of her reception staff say to a guy he would change his tyre for him , I can't see the young lads at audi getting their shirts dirty sleeves rolled up doing that for a customer. From the initial call regarding a specific car, we received a truly brilliant service from the receptionist through to Fereshteh, our Car Sales Executive. The car was immaculately prepared and readied for me, with good, knowledgeable service from Pritesh Parmar who deserves a special mention. If you’re looking for a nearly new vehicle, this is the place to go! Since purchasing this car, and due to a lifestyle change, I needed something a bit larger, so went back to Evans Halshaw yet again. One star off for the disorganisation; hadn't booked my appointment in properly, therefore hadn't got car ready to test drive and then couldn't find key but can't fault the salesman Miles, really enthusiastic. knowledgable and friendly guy, should be a prerequisite for the job, but often isn't! Even pointed out a small dent that hadn't been noticed on pick-up which they could quite easily have ignored. Car was ready in less than 24 hours.

Only dealt with service, not sales. Had to take vehicle in 4 times to be told very little. 1st visit told I had oil leaks that needed further investigation. On 2nd occasion they didn't do anything except tell me I needed to take car away & clean engine before bringing back to them for further inspection. The privilege of which I paid £50 for, don't see why they couldn't have told me that after the 1st inspection and not wasted their and my time on the 2nd trip. On 3rd trip given the exact same report as the 1st and told car needed to be booked in for further investigation. When I pointed out that's what it was in for there was very little in way of apology, but staff did endeavour to help, no charge for fourth "inspection" which finally yielded more fruit, but alas further expensive investigation required to get to the bottom of it, not their fault but could've achieved that result in a single visit. Overall, pleasant company to deal with, nice staff on front desk but unless its the most simple of work required will take it to a garage where I can have a face to face conversation with a mechanic and not have to interface via the "service desk" who can't answer more than a simple question without having to refer back to the mechanics.
