I purchased an 'Approved Used' Land Rover Discovery from Sturgess. After minimal bartering, I was offered a fair and competitive Part Exchange price on my car and the viewing appointment and ordering process was professionally and courtiously handled by Richard Brown. Sadly, Sturgess have lost a 'star' as there was a serious problem with the car upon driving it home. I'll refrain from describing the problem here, apart from saying it should NOT have occurred. That said, Sturgess were very apologetic and clearly disappointed. The car was promptly collected by Sturgess and returned to me the same day. The two year Approved Warranty is an added reassurance and to date, I'm very pleased with the car and would have no hesitation in recommending Sturgess and purchasing from them in the future.

Having spoken with Niraj and reserved my vehicle I arrived at the dealership 2 days later to find it fully prepared ready for collection. The sale was not rushed, all necessary details were fully explained with the whole process being carried out in a professional but very friendly, stress free manner. This has been a long time period due to my indecisiveness but unlike other garages I had dealt with I never felt overly bothered or pressurised by our sales contact Richard Brown. I purchased a Range Rover 19 velar r dynamic SE. Went in just for a browse and reserved there and then. Richard Brown was brilliant and completely different to any other car salesperson I have ever met. Felt that he was very genuine and accommodating to me and my 2 crazy kids - made us feel very welcome despite the fact that even saints struggle with the kids rowdiness sometimes. Richards knowledge of the car was very good and he was not pushy. I needed a nudge but it was done in a nice way. I was worried that I would get the car home and regret it, but it’s stunning and soo nice to drive. Over the last 6 months this is the third Land Rover dealership that I have dealt with & by far the best purchasing experience. I rang Nigel on the Saturday & a test drive was arranged on the Sunday. We ordered my wife's brand new Range Rover Evoque less than three weeks ago, with the entire deal, including the part exchange of our Discovery Sport, handled by sales manager Niraj Sakaria. Despite a minor hiccup with the delivery date, we arrived at the Sturgess showroom last week excited to be collecting the new car, but only to find someone else's in the showroom covered by a black satin cover - ours was nowhere to be seen. However, imagine my wife's surprise when Niraj pulled the cover off this "disguised car", unveiling my wife's gleaming, brand new red Evoque! A wonderful surprise and my wife was chuffed to bits. Throughout the entire sales process, Niraj was very genuine, thorough and thoughtful, and upon handover went out of his way to deliver a memorable experience, including some nice touches of complimentary gifts, not to mention that he'd contacted me beforehand to ensure he bought her favourite flowers! Overall, he exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend both him and the Sturgess dealership. Furthermore, having used Sturgess for servicing my Discovery Sport since 2016, I have always found them to be extremely welcoming, professional, efficient and polite and I look forward to continuing my years of Land Rover/Range Rover ownership.
