Just bought my VW Scirocco here from Gary. The whole experience was great. Gave me a good price for my part ex, very knowledgeable about the car he was selling me. Car was spotless, almost like new! Sent me my own personal walk around video a few days before picking the car up. Gary went above and beyond when I came to pick the car up. Brought my car into the showroom so we could swap bits over out of the rain. Did a good job finding tools to help me change over my steering wheel knob, even refitted my phone holder. Got a half decent coffee too whilst I waited! I would definitely recommend buying a car from Sytner & Gary.

Having found a car that met our specification 50 miles away we contacted Sytner to arrange a test drive. Over the phone Gary provided lots of information about the vehicle and made some recommendations so as not to arrive to find the vehicle had already been sold. We took a Range Rover sport for a test drive and although we were more than happy with the car, we didn't go ahead with the purchase as the car wasn't an approved car. Came across an M135i on auto trader that had just been added that day (was watching market like a hawk). I phoned and spoke to Jake Soles in sales whom told me all I needed to know and because I was travelling 100+ miles offered to take a full video of the car pointing out any imperfections so that nothing was a surprise upon collection. It ticked all my boxes and was reasonably priced for the silly market we find ourselves in. I got the video through which was thorough and detailed in HD so I could see everything, based on this I paid a deposit and booked my train landing at the dealer about 3 hours later. I found the car exactly as described and detailed in the video Jake provided which was highly useful. I paid the balance and left shortly after. Jake even picked me up from the station in the car to allow for a test drive back to the dealer. Jake Sole couldn’t of been more helpful and accommodating if he tried. I dealt almost exclusively with Elliott Howard in the purchase of a Discovery 4 in blue 2016 in January 2022 . I must say that overall it exceeded my expectations , he was on the ball and always came back to me with any queries . Car was as described and delivery was made on time . My previous dealings with the motor trade haven't been that rewarding . Would definitely deal with Elliot again . After the car arrived and id had it for 2 weeks i called him to say thanks and mentioned that the only issue i had found was a clip on leaver on one of the rear seats was missing, something you wouldn't notice until all the seats were made flat etc , I asked if its something that might have come off during the final valet and I sent him a picture on the phone whilst we were talking to see if he could locate it and before we had finished our call he had sourced one on line and confirmed he would post it to me ................... I was really impressed by the speed, knowledge and expertise demonstrated by the team at Sytner (especially Ted, and John!). I had spent the morning at Audi Leicester, making my intention pretty clear that I needed to buy a car ASAP - they were short staffed and not really present during the sales process, to offer me any clear guidance on very technical or basic questions (was told to compare the vehicles myself online, or presented with the options on paper), for someone that knows nothing about cars, it's just an overwhelming process for something 'doing it themselves'. I headed over to Sytner, and and was able to ask all sort of questions, and got really good detailed responses. He went above and beyond, and has the patience of a saint (dealing with all my emails). Did not know what to expect with everything that has happened this year. Gary tipler was our main point of contact who made everything simple and easy to purchase my golf r, nothing seemed to much trouble throughout the process. We've had our Tiguan for around 2-months now and waited to write a review until we'd had chance to get use to the car and find any niggles. I recently bought a car from this dealership.Initially having had a horrible experience with another reseller dealership (motor4u) based in Croydon I was very skeptical. But then I met Darryl Heggs at Sytner Select on Blackbird Road. A nice gent who was very helpful and patient with a million queries (bordering on absurdness) that I had. He went out of the way to help me understand an out of place document by ringing Guy Salmon - main Dealership and clearing my doubts. And did I mention he loves cricket and is an absolute riot when in mood! He cracked jokes and I understood them after a while (maybe I am not a bright spark when it comes to humor ;)) but what it really did was it eased away the anxiousness I had about the purchase. In terms of purchase process - The test driving experience in itself was a 5 * and it was a good few miles (maybe 10-15? miles) drive and part of it on a 70 mph road as well. Prior to that I was provided the key to check the car at my leisure. All the documents (Service history, MOT, health check etc... were ready and well presented for me to check on the test drive day itself). I loved the car for what it was. It wasn't cheap and neither very expensive - it was what I was paying for but I manged to get that assurdness from my experience that I am buying a good product from a reputed company with backing of warranty and other services being provided like from a main dealership. On purchase day I met another person Mr. Kevin Harris who did the financing documents another soft spoken, helpful and true gentleman. All in all, I would say they have a good team up there and if you want to buy any used car with assurdness about the vehicle (as in it is exactly what you see - no nasty surprises) I would highly recommend them. I always thought most auto resellers are devious but not Sytner Select - Leicester. Its refreshingly an organised, pocket friendly and people friendly reselling dealership, a place I would happily go again in a year or twos' time if they have a car that I want.

The inspection check list ticked that the seats were ok however I have found a split in the rear seat not picked up in the check Not good on a £90,000 car.It was also noted on the multi point inspection it stated N/A rear seat entertainment, cooled seats and air suspension. This car has all these things again a little more care when box ticking. Other than that, pleased with car. Interesting to note you infer I must have made a hole in my own rear seat on my way home.

Many thanks for the very professional service from Gary Tipler when purchasing my new car. Having previously looked at one [that I did not opt for in the end] Gary gave me the heads up on another coming in the following week, along with a personalised video tour. I subsequently put a deposit down [money back if no sale] over the phone, and arranged a viewing. The car was presented for the test drive, having gone through workshops, but not valeted. It was good to see it in this condition, ie, as it had come in. My father was also able to have a test drive [second opinion!]. After driving the car, I signed there and then and arranged collection for the following weekend. On arrival, the car was beautifully presented in the showroom, washed, polished, alloys refurbed, the interior lovely. The handover process was very well executed. No hidden fees or any rubbish [looking at you, Evans Halshaw]. Overall I was hugely impressed with the sales service provided by Gary, who was efficient, polite, and knowledgeable. The sale was completed without any pressure or rush. There is a small matter of an after sales/warranty item which is currently being addressed, and which I shall review in due course.

Generally good, sales person I dealt with promptly answered my questions by phone and email (more than 3 different VW main dealers were able to manage). Left a deposit and collected a few days later. Picked up from the station and polite service from everyone I spoke with. A few issues on and post collection in that a tyre was punctured before my collecting it, pressure light on on my test drive, and despite assurance from their technician who looked it over it went down again within 30 minutes. Drove home on the space-saver spare. It was repairable (20 quid), and I told the dealer but there was no apology or offer to cover the cost. Small detail but somewhat took the shine off things. Despite assurances over the phone that there were no notable marks on the paint on arrival there were 4 large, deep bird poo stains across the roof and bonnet. Sales person agreed and did apologise that he had missed these (and a discount was negotiated in lieu). Booked into a local bodyshop and repaired a few days later. For some reason the service indicators had been reset seemingly immediately before my arrival (based on days showing remaining) although the car was actually due an oil service in 2.5k miles. Not a particular issue as I'd checked history in advance with VW but odd that both counters had been reset and no service performed. If I'd not checked and trusted the counter it would have meant the next service being performed very late. Would be a little unfair if a claim on their own warranty was to be declined because of an inadvertent late service. Very cheap tyres had been freshly fitted to the front. I was told about this in advance but would have preferred the cost of these tyres off instead to put towards replacements myself. Purely personal and I do appreciate the need to mitigate costs. Ultimately the car is in the specification I wanted and price was market competitive; I've had no other issues in first 6 weeks and ~2k miles. Would advise however appraising carefully at purchase and ensuring paperwork is all in order.

Bought a 2015 vauxhaul zafira tourer from leicester sytner select branch in febuary traveled 150 miles to collect the car the sales man either steve or a ted not sure what his name was but was very pleasant and helpful gentleman showroom was nice and tidy i would have given more stars but.. When we came to collect the car the car was telling us the front tyre pressure was low i was told it just needed resetting or the car needed to learn the preasures after the tyres were removed and put back we were originally told the car didnt have a locking nut the service man obviously didnt check the tyres because if he had he would have realised the back tyre was actually punctured not once but twice with screws and the car actually had a locking nut so not only did it take 5 days for us to get the tyre fixed because steve had to send the locking nut by post as it was actually sat in someone draw but before we realised it had a puncture we had done a 750 mile road trip not knowing it had a problem 😒 so at the cost of 40 pound i eventually had the tyre fixed i had the tyre sensor fixed by vauxhaull under vauxhaull warrenty so it wasnt reporting the wrong tyre ..but since all this the auto gearbox makes a clunking noise when in park and hand break is put on and while it is shifting gear during driving. the electrics are also giving me a run for my money as well the parking sensors and traction control keeps turning off when breaking at junctions the roof shade fights to not be closed odd occasions the radio will completely freeze up and stop working and now i have a deep whining noise coming from the the front left wheel while reversing round into spaces and a belt is making a rubbing noise quite loudly in the engine bay not looking forward to its service and mot on a car thats only just turned 3 in march going to be an expensive and bitter pill to swallow i think i thought id give it at least 6 month before id come running with a review if the car didnt have these few issues i wouldnt of minded giving more stars but as its now out of warrenty and i have no faith in sytners warrenty and a possible expensive bill coming my way i had to give 3 stars 😔
