I have been to Mercedes Benz Lincoln a few times and have always enjoyed good customer service and honest advice. They did not hesitate to honor MB's warrenty, and fixed the issue promptly. Only concern is that appointments are usually available atleast after 4 weeks wait.

Service spotted a problem with a shock absorber which they have arranged to be fixed under warranty.
There was no obvious cross-departmental co-operation as I found myself waiting between sales, finance and service, with no updates.

I have to say that Listers Mercedes is a better Mercedes dealership than my own local one (I'm from North Wales) My local dealership made me feel like I had bought a cheap car low market car. Listers on the other had, well completely different they made me feel great about buying my car and made the car feel like it was made of pure gold telling me about the extras that came with the car how the extras worked, FANTASTIC.
Listers have been very helpful with my new 16 plate A class AMG line.
Jonathan who delt with me mainly is great help and knows his cars. Never spent this sort of cash on a car but this car and Listers Mercedes Benz customer service was worth it.
They have been very helpful with a problem I had that has been sorted. They came to my home all the way from Lincoln and sorted the issue. I don't think anyone can grumble at that.

Visited today to have an adapter fitted. Was made to feel very welcome. I had my two young children with me and the staff couldn't have done enough for us. They took the time to come and chat to me and my children. One female staff member printed out some "frozen" colouring in sheets for my girls and brought over felt tips. She was lovely!
After I had my car updated, they washed and hoovered my car all free of charge!

Update. 23.3.21.....Had a couple of problems with the car so emailed sales person for advice who did not respond, or took ages to phone back, but only phoned after chasing several times.
As the sale is now complete, my views of the initial service to get the sale to after care are very very different.
Service department are however very helpful.
My initial review was 5 star, but as sales person is not willing to help once they have sold the car has made my review 3 stars.

Jamie in sales looked after us very , very well. It was disappointing when we visited the showroom and Jamie wasn't there. It seams that unless the person available sold you the car they are not interested. To say they work in individual silo's is an understatement. They have a great product, the person you deal with represents Mercedes-Benz and themselves very well. However, if I was Listers I would be very concerned about how some of their team are not in the team at all.

Just collected our new GLE from Lincoln and very happy with the car and the pick up on the day. Our Salesman placed the car under a black cover, which made the whole experience even more exciting. Only one negative comment - the total lack of communication from Mercedes from the point of order (January) to the point of collection. Felt we were left in the dark much of the time. If you have old fashioned values ie have cash (in a bank account obviously) and are looking for a slightly used car or parts then forget it. The orange-skinned girls won't know what to do with you.

I booked my Mercedes b class into Listers of Lincoln with a fault whereby the vehicle went into economy mode with reverse gear unavailable. My experience from arrival at reception was polite, efficient and friendly. All coved restriction were enforced but not an inconvenience. Due to distance I was waiting for the car. After a free coffee I was informed that the problem was providing to be difficult to trace and offered a loan car which I accepted and drove home. A couple of hours later I was contacted and told that my car was now ready for collection. On return of the loan car I was informed of what had caused the problem and my car brought to the front door. The price I was quoted when I booked the vehicle in was what I paid.
I would like to say that the the whole experience was the best I have had at any garage before and without reservation I will recommend them to my friends. Thank you Listers.

Lincoln Mercedes is not my most local dealership. However the level of service i received from first point of contact was far superior to that of any local dealership. The drive to Lincoln was well worth the extra effort!
Lincoln was able to do the deal i was happy with. A faultless experience from start to finish.
Simon was very knowledgeable during the ordering stage and not at all pushy with any sales patter. He also provided me with regular updates throughout the wait for delivery and was very professional at all times. Definitely an asset to the Dealership.
The vehicle handover was exactly as i requested and even ahead of schedule.

Fantastic service from start to finish.
I was contacted by Nathan initially to discuss my enquiry about one of the cars within his dealerships stock. Nathan was friendly, professional and couldn't have helped me more if he tried. I had a query about the Advanced Navigation advertised for this particular car, Nathan said he would have one of the sales team send me a video to explain. Within 30 mins I received a link to a personal video explaining the car and this feature.
Michael (Sales Executive) worked with Nathan to find me the deal to suit and catered for everything I requested. Once agreed the pair both said they could have the car ready for me the next day to collect (probably less than a day in fairness). They understood I was travelling 3hrs to their dealership so allowed a handover on Saturday, something they do not usually do.
Michael and Nathan both met me once I arrived, as did the friendly girl on concierge. Everyone was professional, helpful and superb. The handover was smooth and Michael explained everything about the new car and the paperwork.
I could not recommend Mercedes-Benz Listers anymore, they were brilliant. I had my doubts after terrible service from Mercedes-Benz Inchcape in Warrington and Liverpool but faith has been fully restored after this latest interaction with the different group. Brilliant, thanks.

I've had a few minor issues with a car I purchased in January this year but everything has been fixed and the staff couldn't have done more to help. A couple of the issues have been quite disrupting but the staff have always made sure I had a loan car, ive not been expected to pay for the bit of fuel I've used and on one ocassion they even filled my almost empty tank due to the loan car drinking a lot more fuel than mine. I can't thank the staff enough really, especially Daniel, the service manager.

Daniel Limbert Service Manager has been in contact to discuss the situation. It took a little bit of time, but in the end we got into the discussion of moving forward. We had the discussion I wanted to have with his service department about possible causes of the brake judder. He has offered a good compensation package for the recent experience and I'm hoping we can work together to get the problem resolved. Raising rating to 3 stars from original 1 star review. Car is booked in on the 21st July so will once again update as I know more. I correct my original statement as I misunderstood that certain diagnostics are performed by Mercedes UK and not the dealership themselves - hence, the higher time and costs.
Original Review:
Story started when my 1 month out of warranty, 30 k mile E-Class started juddering like mad when braking (same discs from new). Paid listers £190 to diagnose it
Had ‘warped’ discs and they quoted me ... get ready ... just over £950 for new discs and pads (front and rear). Provided no logical reasoning or any measurements why it was the discs. I politely declined.
Bought the front discs and pads from their parts department (£200 for the parts) who were really nice by the way. Got the parts and downloaded the Mercedes guideline. A friend fitted them and the judder came back within 1000 miles.
Went to S&P garages who said there’s a problem with the discs and fitment is absolutely fine.
Booked it in at Listers for a 4-wheel alignment and an inspection of the brakes (warranty claim on parts) and you’ll never guess what happened.
Told me I had brake judder, said the discs look fine and that they didn’t know how they’ve been fitted. Therefore warranty claim invalid. Next, they put my car on the wheel alignment and it was IN SPECIFICATION when they started yet still charged me £180 for it!!
I asked if they could do some measurements ie a very common disc run out and thickness measurement. Said I’d have to pay for 2-3 hours labour.
I’ve never been so disappointed by an after sales service. And, don’t get me wrong: premium car, premium prices. Only if it fixes it!!!

Kindly offered to come to the train station to pick me up. Countrywide Mercedes-Benz server was down and the car could not be handed over, on the day I travelled to pick it up , so Jamie ensured that I got a very nice courtesy car and arranged for my car to be dropped off, after a week, when it was ready.
The car was competitively priced and very clean.
Very satisfied with the experience overall and would definitely recommend this dealership especially Jamie.

Buying a car under lockdown was made surprisingly easy. I was helped at every stage. Obviously it is a difficult time for employees in the car industry as there is a lot of uncertainty and many people have been forced to stay home because of COVID. I have always been impressed by the Mercedes experience so I have confidence in future ownership.

Had a factory order for a new vehicle and a had then seen that Lincoln had the car in stock. I spoke to Michael and he matched the deal I had with the other dealership and stated I could get the car as early as the following week. I arrived a week later and examined the car before taking delivery. It was spotless. Despite COVID making the handover not as glamorous as it could have been, I think the dealership did 10/10 based on the circumstances.
My only criticism has nothing to do with the specific dealership but I think Listers need to rethink some of their GAP and other insurance packages as they are expensive and don’t seem to offer the best package.

I have to share this review of Listers Mercedes in Lincoln. They have been brilliant! We popped in whilst on holiday for a cursory look at a CLA 250 which, we've been after for months and Listers beat our regular dealer on price.
We came back down the country to finalise the deal, picked up the keys and found incorrect specification item on the car. The guys acknowledged their mistake (these things happen), held their hands up and solved the problem. I believe, not many sales people are honourable enough to do the required spec change for a customer at handover, I'm sure. It gave us a lot more confidence and trust in dealing with you.
Our thanks go out to Toby, Carl and Chris for sorting out the correct car spec to our satisfaction. Well done guys, see you 4 years time. We will recommend you and your dealership in the future.

The best service Ive ever received from a car dealership!
I firstly dealt with Jack from the sales team which ensured he met my requirements and not just sign off a deal which is rare from a seller. The final paperwork and transaction was handled by Dean who once again did not rush the sale and was attentive to all enquiries.
Since the purchase I have received many follow up calls, to help me get the experience out of my vehicle which I am very appreciative of.

Good and bad things for this place. They were very helpful in finding me a new car and sourced it from Germany. They did me a great deal, which I was happy with. However, on arrival to collect my brand new car I found that there were bird droppings marks all over the paint work and instead of getting rid of it, they put their special wax over it so the effected parts had to be stripped down, cleaned up and rewaxed. It also had tape stickers on the wing mirrors and the wheels which they hadn't taken off. and which are still there. Not what you want from a brand new car. Obviously not prepped properly, or they couldn't be bothered. Then they tried to tell me that I MUST have their servicing to keep the car in warranty, which is not correct and apparently they shouldn't say that. That's naughty of them, scaring people into spending more money, and lying to them. Good coffee though.

Just visited, on impulse, to look at Smart Cars, as a second vehicle. Ended up buying one! Very nice, helpful salesman, Nathan Saville. Having bought numerous cars and motor homes, this is only Company where I have left with a full tank of petrol. Tank probably doesn't take much to fill it but nice thought. Nathan followed up next day to check I was happy with everything. Only criticism was that we were led to believe the car was a demonstrator and it transpired, after purchase, that it had been used as a service car.
Would we still have bought it if we had known this at point of contact? Had to loose one star for this.

I went into Mercedes on Tuesday 27th of March. After speaking with Jake H on the phone who found me the ideal car and sorted every detail out I then spoke with Nathan S who finished the final details and answered any questions I had. Booked in for a new Can Shaft Cover. Initially told it would take 1 hour but on arrival was informed that because the oil would be very hot they could not work on the car for at least 2 hours. To be fair they did loan me a car but it did mean travelling to and from the garage twice, which wasted a good part of my day.

2. The customer parking is an absolute joke. If you are lucky enough to find a space, with a two door Merc parked exactly between the white lines you cant even open the drivers door wide enough to get out of the car! Really puts me off wanting to visit the dealership for anything, which is a shame because the staff are excellent.

Sat nav system failed. Bought it new 18 months ago, when buying car from this garage.. It is under warranty, and has been replaced accordingly. I initially thought it was in the car when I bought it, used, 2.5 years ago, and I was informed it would cost more money to replace the sat nav than buying a stand alone system. However, on checking, after asking at the garage, it was apparent that the system was under warranty. Had this been checked first, it would have saved me some anxiety. My wife's memory came to my rescue. Otherwise, the service I have received from this garage continues to be first class in every aspect. I am always grateful for the care of ourselves and the car. 10/10 exceeded my expectations. Having gone into Mercedes Robinson in Peterborough (my girlfriend was interested in the C220), giving our details to Vincent Lee (Sales Rep) and being promised a call back for a test drive that never materialised, needless to say we were apprehensive. However JONATHAN BREWER at Listers in Lincoln changed all that. How refreshing it was to be treated like a human being with no pressure and no pushy sales. He dealt with my girlfriends high demands of what type of vehicle she wanted, found it and got down for her to test drive and purchase. I registered a little interest in the A Class, he went through the finance, the various specs and 1 week later i picked up a brand new A200 AMG line. Jonathan Brewers' customer service was fantastic and we cannot thank him enough but credit must also go to everyone at Listers. When we arrived we were made to feel very comfortable, sat in the lounge, helped ourselves to a hot drink and had a look around the stock in the forecourt when they were doing paperwork but more importantly was the day when we came to collect them. They were both wrapped with message from Mercedes thanking us for using them and to top it off we were given a bouquet of champagne as a thank you for using them. Can not recommend Listers Mercedes of Lincoln high enough. Purchasing a new car can sometimes be a long drawn out process with choosing what car/spec you want and negotiating a deal. My experience with Listers of Lincoln was quite the opposite, David Overton really did take the hassle out of the whole process by providing regular email updates, offering what I could see as one of the best deal in the country and even collecting me from the train station on the day of collection. The car was ready when I got there, the paperwork was straight forward and he took time to explain a number of features about the car. I look forward to using Listers again.

Generally very good but I was disappointed they seemed unable to get my "Mercedes Me" adapter working again and could only refer me to the main Mobilo Life helpline number. This is especially galling as the problem appears to be caused when the Dealer technician removes the adapter in order to plug in his diagnostic kit. I have an SL and an E-Class both with MercedesMe adapters that used to work fine but are now both defunct with the App simply saying "cannot connect, Error code CC006001 contact MB Retailer"
I will probably try the Mobilo number, but frankly, "MercedesMe" is becoming a bit of a bore.
