I bought a Mazda 3 from Parks a couple of years ago now, they had only just got it in and hadn't had time to prepare it properly. In particular, it needed some minor repairs to the bumper and paint work. However, I needed it that same day so they happily negotiated on the price to account for the work it needed with the understanding that if it cost more than we accounted for then Parks would cover the extra. I am pleased to say they were true to their word and the car proved to be a good, reliable runner. I would happily buy another car from Parks in the future and have no hesitations recommending them - good, trustworthy service.

Buying a used car is usually a bit of a hassle & can also be time consuming having to look at one car after another only to find that they never quite meet up to the standard described in the adverts. Especially when buying in the UK from Ireland. Luckily this time I stumbled across Parks Motor Co. via the AA used car website. The car (2011 Audi A3) looked very clean on the photos, but then they usually do & being that I was going to have to book a one way flight to the UK to view the car I wanted to make sure it was as good as it looked, so I contacted John who was more than happy to oblige & not only took more photos & answered all our questions about the car but also proceeded to do a video walk around of the car showing close up details outside & inside. The price he was asking was also pretty spot on for the quality & year of car compared to others we'd looked at. Maybe not the cheapest but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. We were actually so happy with what we'd seen via email & communications with John that we paid a deposit before leaving Ireland. When I arrived to collect the car it actually exceeded my expectations!! In a world where I increasingly find it hard to trust people, I found John to be very honest, polite, obliging & good at his job. We have had the car now for a couple of months & could not be any happier with it. I would highly recommend Parks to anyone looking for a used car. It certainly takes the risk element out of buying one & I will most definitely be contacting John again in the future when we decide to update again. As a fellow self employed person I'd like to wish John all the best with his business for 2018. It's great to meet someone who takes a pride in what they do & it shows.

Just bought an immaculate Insignia off John and Adam. Both gents exceptional throughout the whole process, taking the time to find us a finance deal that worked, and then all the little extra details to go with it, we also got in on the promotional 15 month warranty which is worth it's weight in gold. Overall a brilliant experience and hassel free start to finish, a very welcoming and personal service. Excellent. After being referred by my finance company, John did everything to find a car for me. Even though I was picky and specific and turned down mostly all of the photos of cars (even though they had my specifications), I went for a car he recommended for me in the end (vauxhall Astra 1.6) and the size I was used to. I turned it down on a photo due to the colour! (what was I thinking?!) I was very glad I looked at it and test drove it in real life!. Having been used to a Peugeot 308sw access 1.6, he was right! The photo didn't do it justice! Very pleased as he gave me valuable information, pros and cons about suitability and all valid points. Originally I was interested in the fiesta titanium but I was treated with respect and honesty about being comfortable with the size. After all, I was going to be stuck with the car for 4 years at most. So pleased he had the nouse to tell me the information that was important. When buying a car I advise a visit to Parks. They are welcoming, friendly and open. Not pushy like some dealers who are only in it for the commission. Very informative. Wonderful people. Thank you.

This is my second time buying a car from John and once again the customer service, choice of cars and general buying experience was impeccable. The car I have just px’d was bought from John 2yrs ago when he was at another dealership. He went above and beyond then and he still does now to ensure that you are entirely happy with every element within the buying process. ( he nearly died getting me a specific part for my last car. True story. Make sure to ask him.. so I can’t ask for more than that!!) . The one thing I would ask customers to do before you book the day off work, have it set in stone that the car is absolutely ready to be picked up and you are driving away in it that day. Before anyone starts thinking this is a negative within the post it is absolutely not. John is a perfectionist when it comes to the releasing of his cars and if something- no matter how trivial you may think it is catches his eye he won’t let you have the car. It happened to me, it felt like a pain in the backside but he would rather you went away with the car 100% right so please check before you leave home. When I started shopping for new car finance I was directed towards variously dealerships that the finance company were affiliated with. I was horrified when I turned up at some of these places and I couldn’t believe what these charlatans were trying to make people part with there hard earned cash for. I’m referring to the likes of Concept cars for example. FORGET PLACES LIKE THAT..whatever your budget please don’t sign up to any finance agreement until you have spoken to Park Motor Company first. Just bought a used Mini Cooper from Parks - found them honest, straight forward and easy to deal with. It came with a 6 month free warranty and over £1100 itemised new parts/labour. I feel I got a good price in comparison to similar age/mileage cars and in just over 1hr I was driving away. Ignore the conspiracy rubbish about ipads - I did and I am very happy with my car - would reccommend!
