P. W.I can not recommend Ted highly enough !! ... He has now visited me at home (mobile service as no extra charge) twice and has done various pieces of work to my Honda scooter. His knowledge of scooters/motorbikes is 2nd to none, more importantly he is extremely honest with the work that needs to be done, his rates are very reasonable and he does a 1st class job !!!
N. K.I don’t speak English so well, and I don’t really understand engines either, but he handled it very well, in fact, he showed me understadably over the changes to be made on the engine! He fixed my Piaggio Fly 125 scooter!

O. T.What to start off with! Ted is genuinely a really nice chap with a legitimate passion for scooters and motorcycles. He takes pride and joy in his work and it really shines through as soon as you meet him, if only more mechanics shared the same attitude! His rates are very good and he makes sure the work he carries out of your bike is tip top standard. His very open and honest about the repairs carried out and will always recommend the service you want depending on your budget whether you are looking for genuine Yamaha parts or something to hold out for a little while longer.
It's very conveniently placed in Walthamstow Central. I genuinely would not recommend any other service centre but Teds. If you want your bike to be cared for and serviced with the up most quality and attention definitely come over to Teds!
J. R. I.My sister has been using Tom for a few years and recommended him to me. She always raved about how helpfully and genuine he was. I recently took my Honda CBR 250 to Ted's Peds and was not disappointed. I received an amazing service, my MOT was completed in record time and he even threw in a few minor adjustments and a much needed wash as part of the package. I am so glad that Ted's Peds is round the corner from me. This is definitely my new bike place and I recommend you make it yours too. Mechanics can be a little patronising with female riders, but Tom was great and I will definitely take him up on his offer of showing me how to undertake some minor repairs.
M. P.I was really pleased to discover Ted's Peds last year when it opened (conveniently located at Walthamstow Central Station) and even more pleased when I found that the owner was Tom, previously the mechanic at TransCity Scooters.
Tom does an excellent job of looking after my scooter. He has attention to detail, is willing to go the extra mile, is friendly and approachable and certainly knows his stuff when it comes to scooters.
I can't rate Ted's Peds highly enough - first class service at reasonable prices.

I have always had a really good service from Tom. He has been very supportive and gives great attention to detail. O.I have been using TOM garage for first time and have recieved the best customer service even(i have been in numerous garage around east London but this one is the best, he is very passionate about what he is doing and really looking after you and your bike) He is a real people person and doesn't mess about when it comes to fixing motorbike quickly. If there is anything wrong with my bike there is no doubt about it that no one other than Tom is seeing to it right away. W. 1.My man Ted is the man when it comes to Peds. I have been going to Ted as my main mechanic and he has given me good advice on bikes and given me the knowledge of how to best look after them. He will always let you know the work hes going to carry out on the vehicle to make you aware of what your paying for. Just had a service there, new brake pads, new tyres and brake sensors. Can go to him with any problem and trust him to handle it for me. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

A. N.After being ripped off by another mechanic being charged £120 for a £10 part, I was recommended to go to Ted's Peds. Tom has been servicing and maintaining my Vespa PX for a while now and I genuinely wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He's an honest and decent guy and will explain to you exactly what needs doing and will usually even take photos of the work he's done to show you what needed doing.
After my beloved PX being written off this year by a driver pulling right out in front of me, Tom was one of the people I called first. He recommended what I should do next and get the bike to him. Unfortunately it wasn't going to be cost effective to repair it, and I had to start looking for a new one. It didn't take long because Tom did most of the looking for me and regularly sent me details of ones he'd seen. He ended up finding me a 4 year old PX that was practically mint condition with only 300 miles on it, so bought it from him without any concerns. He made sure everything was perfect with it, and even swapped over all of my MOD accessories from my old PX. I was back there on just last week having my new whitewall tyres put on by Tom and Gary.
This is the only place you should think about taking your scooter to !!
C. C.Tom has saved my skin! I bought what I thought was an ok scooter but it was not. I took it to Teds Peds for a service, I watched almost the whole thing and extra works needing doing was pointed out to me and the reason explained. I have taken my bike back since for the further work, Tom fitted without charge protectors on the handles, he has sorted sticky locks, got my top box operational again, given me a seat. More than anything I now have so much more confidence on the scooter because I know it is fully serviced and operational. I would highly recommend Teds Peds and be highly surprised if anyone was dissatisfied with the service given .

A. B.Excellent Sevice! Brought my Vespa in for an MOT and explained some other issues i was having with the bike. It was a very quick turnaround and they called me to explain all the work that was being carried out beforehand (very handy for someone like me that doesn't have a mechanical bone in their body!!!). Bike looks immaculate and runs perfectly now. I couldn't recommend Teds Peds highly enough, this is where i will be going in the future!

M. S.If you own a Piaggio or Vespa, my advise would be to go to Teds Peds. It is the best garage I have been to. Tom is an honest guy who will go that extra mile to make sure your back up and running. Taken my 125 there twice and was amazed at the results and how well it ran after. Get on their books early and form that relationship because in a years time your going to struggle to get in.

Bike has never run so smoothly! Even had the bike cleaned including the seat FOC - it was gleaming!
Tom's a nice, honest guy. Invoice was clear and detailed. Will be taking my vespa there from now on.
n. e.There are not enough stars to really represent this man's skills and craftsmanship. I was able to get my bike in the garage within 10 min of me phoning him, and I got it back a couple of hours later. Charged me for one hour of work and did at least two times the amount of work and topped off my cooling liquid free of charge. I would absolutely recommend this men services, and I would most certainly not use anyone else to do any work on my bike.
P.S. Forgot to mention that he is perfectly happy for you ta loiter about in the garage while he's doing the work.

M.Any problem with your bike you make sure that you come and give it a treat at teds peds because honestly they are the best ped shop in walthamstow, they helped and saved me from alot of drama trying to get around on public transport where my engine blew on my gilera runner i honesty didnt think i was going to see from it for a long while until i took it to teds peds garage and retrieved it back in moments! They are brilliant! They are such great and honest and hardworking people!

Being a newbie to London and a lady rider I have always been a bit dubious when I've needed to get my bike looked at as I've had a few ...'odd' experiences but Ted completely out me at ease with his professionalism and he seemed to know my Aprilia Mojito 125CC inside out. I took her in for a first service and MOT and it was done quickly and efficiently, with Ted explaining to me in his lovely South London accent exactly what he had done/ replaced and made sure i understood my bill breakdown. When I accidentally locked my only set of scooter keys in the seat of my scooter, Ted was my first port of call, literally my knight in protective clothing! And very recently when my carb was blocked and I couldnt achieve speeds over 10mph, Ted diagnosed the issue and within a hour and a bit I was up and running once again! I literally cannot recommend this garage and mechanic enough, knowledgeable, fast, friendly and just.. AMAZE BALLS!!!!

R. 4.The only place i will take my scoot, Teds worked on my SH300- new rear tyre, rollers and belt, not only fitted all parts in next to no time, they will also clean out the transmission area and explain why it needs to be done with every belt/roller change, all done at a good price.
i will be bringing my scoot here from now on, these guys know exactly what they are doing, very professional, it maybe a small workshop but the guys knowledge of scoots and peds is massive.

What I like about this shop is that they show you the damage on your bike when the job is done, when he rebuilt my forks and did extra jobs free of charge.
