I have purchased an amazing Ford Fiesta. As I entered, I was greeted by Mathew, who is a great guy and helped me purchase my first car, and the atmosphere was lovely and charming. Since it was my first car, Mathew helped me chose a car suitable for my needs and the cherry on top is it was hassle-free! My father before me bought a car from wonderful Wanstead Carriages and at that time the service was as great as it was now. The next time there is someone in need of a car I will always recommend Wanstead. Keep on the good work boys!

Picked up my Honda Civic from Wanstead Carriages last week and delighted with it. Edit: They contacted me today and the issue seems solved. They are providing 15 months of warranty for free. As said, the service was spot on and they really nice people. I'll go back to buy a new car from them. Shame I have to give one star to these guys. Bought a VW Golf in December 2019 with 15 months of Premier warranty but in reality it came with 6 months of Dynamic warranty. They acknowledge the error back in January but never solved it after 4 emails/calls and now the warranty is expired. Again, a shame because the car is fab and the service was spot on except for the warranty thing. Now I'll have to pay 300£ to extend the warranty even if it should have been included in the price of the car. E

Cut to the chase I visited Wanstead Carriages and visited Raj. I purchased a Vauxhall Corsa and the service was amazing. I was amazed with the level of Covid-19 protection. They were giving us face masks and hand sanitisers free of charge. I visited other garages and they do not have the same standard as Wanstead Carriages. Overall I was really pleased with there service. Thank you Raj.

I have no hesitation in recommending Wanstead Carriages. I found exactly the vehicle I wanted on their website but it would have meant a 4 hour round trip to view it. They were very happy to answer my numerous questions on more that one occasion, with no hard sell whatsoever. I eventually decided to trust the various reviews I had read of Wanstead Carriages and purchased the car. A new MOT was carried out and Matthew then arranged the logistics of getting it delivered to my home. I was talked through the various functions, features and paperwork. It looked immaculate when it arrived, despite being 8 years old, and I'm extremely happy with how it drives. Thanks Gents !

I rarely if ever write reviews, but the service and help I got from Matthew at Wanstead Carriages was so above and beyond expectation that I feel I must. This is a good guy that runs an honest business! I bought a car from Wanstead Carriages some time ago. Recently, it broke down, and as it was way out of the warranty period and quite far from their garage, I called RAC who took the car to a local recommended garage that unfortunately was not fit for purpose and may even have damaged the car further. Once that became obvious, on the suggestion of a friend that had also bought a car from Wanstead Carriages, I called up and spoke to Matthew. Even though he was under no obligation to help at that stage, he spent a lot of time advising me and helping me resolve the situation. I will always be grateful as he guided me through a really tricky situation, where he stood to gain nothing.

Really good cars on display. These people are honest and genuine, unlike others who show a great advertise but when you come to see the car, its in an bad state. Bought my car from Wanstead Carriages which included a service and mot a couple of months later. To save me having to drive there with my kids in tow and hang around for a few hours they kindly collected the car from my house and returned it the same day!! Fantastic.... seriously saved me a lot of trouble. Great service.

Professional and courteous service from start to finish. This used car company is tucked away behind the shops at chingford mount and it comes as a pleasant surprise. We bought a family car from them and were impressed with the quality of their service. Prices are a little bit more than some other places, but they offer a warrantee, AA membership, MOT and basic service when you purchase. Our car had a minor fault (interior light did not work) and wansted carriages fixed it for us quickly and with no fuss. We would recommend wansted carriages and will certainly visit them first when we replace our car in a few years time.
