I woke up this morning luckily on my day off to find the car not starting. I had to call out my recovery who came out within 20-25 minutes, while waiting I rang Marshams to let them know I might have to get my car looked at after finding out what it is. Tricia Morris from Marshams who took the call was extremely helpful and reassuring that once my car had been looked at by the recovery and if they advise if it needed parts to get it straight over to them and they will get it looked at and fixed as soon as they can for me. I felt better knowing I could take the car today to Marshams if needed, the recovery turned up and did some tests to find that I needed a new starter motor and they managed to get it started and advised me to drive to Marshams straight away why the car was now running. When I got to Marshams Tricia was very welcoming and straight on the case of getting a part ordered and the car booked in. Tricia advised me she would get the car looked at to double check that what I was told was the only thing wrong with the car. I was advised to go back home if I didn’t have anything to do in town and Tricia would call me. Within 2 hours Tricia rang me to advise the car was all sorted and ready to pick up. I can’t thank Tricia and the Marshams team enough for getting my car booked in and fixed within 2 hours this close to Christmas. Thanks Tricia and the guys…👍🏻

I want to Marshams to buy my first car in 2015, they were lovely to deal with, and it was exactly as described, the car was very reasonably priced and lasted me over 3 years with no issues. I since went back to them yesterday to buy a car in behalf of a friend, I dealt with James and they went the extra mile for me, prepared the car properly, valeted it and made sure it looked immaculate. Lots if attention to detail and knowledgeable friendly staff which makes all the difference, as it can be very intimidating for sone people if they haven't had much experience with cars. Marshams will treat you right. hands down the most professional car dealership I have ever dealt with.

I visited here to look at a second hand car as my mum has had a couple cars from here (although the first broke they sorted it all out and they came to an agreement with another vehicle - good customer service) and had a good experience. I basically just walked up and down the aisles occasionally looking through the window of one to see what it was like, re visited a couple but couldn’t find any information and didn’t get approached either. Bit odd that no one came to see if I needed anything. In the end I took pictures of the number plates and looked them up on there website later in the evening. I didn’t end up buying my car from here. My store experience wasn’t great but the cars they displayed in there website seemed well priced, good mileage and conditions etc. I haven’t actually replaced my car so may be back.

I went with my son who has autism, i explained to the salesman Rupert that he had this condition and i am there just to makesure my son understood everything with the finance side of things. Well what can i say, Rupert explained everything and answered all his questions. Anything he wasn't sure of he broke it down until he did, patience was amazing and the whole procedure was relaxed from start to finish. Even after he bought the car Rupert called him a couple off times to see if he was okay and said if he needs any further assistance or has any issues with the car to call or go and see them. Thats a service you dont see often, when i need a new car i will be looking at Marshams first. I would highly recommend them to friends and family and anyone else reading this review

I wanted to give five stars but felt 4 was reasonable in view of a delay and slight aggravation in getting a deposit back . When we first turned up to look at a jeep we found parking chaos but don’t be put off! All the guys we spoke to at the garage were polite and helpful we turned up with our two Labradors and just managed to park after driving around the block. There was no pressure the vehicle we were interested in was parked outside and ready to go they gave us the keys and let me take it for a drive whilst my wife and dogs waited in our old jeep that we were trading in, mind you Driving around Maidstone in heavy traffic was not ideal especially after getting a little lost but I managed to get back to find out that they had taken our old jeep for a quick drive with wife and dogs in the back . After a bit of negotiation we agreed a deal with James and completed all the necessary formalities however we had private plates on our old car that we wanted too keep so we had to leave a £500 deposit with them and they agreed this would be returned as soon as we sent them the amended Registration document . This we agreed and set off with the fuel tank of the new car on fumes! Leaving our old car with half a tank of Fuel in it Making straight for a petrol station. New vehicle so far great we received amended registration doc for old vehicle and sent it off special delivery next day guaranteed delivery along with a spare key we found and rang Marshams the next day to get our deposit back. At first we spoke to peter who told us that nothing had been received , so we had to contact the post office who confirmed delivery had been made and signed for we then rang marshams again had to leave a message when they eventually called back they agreed they had received docs and key and would put through refund straight away what they neglected to say was this would take five days if they had it would have saved us having to keep checking the bank and keep calling them to find out why we had not received the refund it again was helped by Peter telling us it would only take 24.hours but eventually we got to speaks to James again who restored our confidence and he even called us after the five days to make sure we had received the money . Other than this it was a nice experience and nice people let’s hope the new vehicle keeps up to expectations as well

Strange place, none of the cars had prices in the windows, the salesperson told me we have to look online as they change all the time. They seemed somewhat frustrated that we turned up to browse rather than book - and icing on the cake - the Land Rover we wanted to look at is in a “compound” as they don’t have all cars on display, and we’d have to pay a deposit if we wanted to look at it. Very odd really, so went elsewhere. I’m guessing they do this as space is tight, but even so it’s not great for people who want to browse for the right car looking at a few.

The sales people are... Sales people, the typical kind who care less about you than how much money they get from you, extended warranty, paint protection, more insurance and service plans all while promising to get the things you've noticed wrong with the car fixed by the time you collect the car which were not fixed and then required me to return to the garage to get them fixed. They did this free of charge which is a plus and the garage side of the business seems to be good, friendly staff in this side of the company. Enjoying the car though, but then they didn't make the car.

A 5 star service provided by Daren. We normally purchase cars privately so I was wary of a hard sell and pushy sales-people. I’m glad to say there was none of that, we were left to view and test drive the car in peace. The pricing was also very competitive. Daren then went over and above by making sure the next service, including a cam belt and water pump change, was carried out after I’d made the purchase, ahead of collecting. Bought a lovely BMW 15 months ago and I am extremely happy with it. Glad I bought the full 3 year warranty packet with everything for service to breakdown cover as I had a punctured tyre. All minor repairs(damage was caused by myself),MOT and service has been excellent. The costs have been very reasonable. Small cars seem to be available all the time in case you have to leave your car overnight . Just great after sales service which I find as important as the car itself. All the staff I have met there are very nice and helpful and they do what they say. The show room is impeccable and the cars are valeted to a standard that makes them look as when they came first out of production. Clearly I would recommend Marshams.

Having recently moved back to Maidstone, I needed a local car garage. As you can imagine, being a woman and knowing nothing about cars I went to several garages to speak and get quotes for my rear brake pads. Most of the garages I went to (I went to 5) they were answering the phone whilst talking to me or were having conversations with each other about their weekend and I had to wait for them to finish talking about their private life before they spoke to the customer! That all changed the moment I walked into MARSHAMS. There were a few members of staff in the showroom and all said hello to me and made eye contact and smiled. I went to the reception counter and was greeted immediately by two ladies, Georgia and Trish. I explained my situation and they couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. They understood what I was asking and took the time to listen to my needs regarding my car and booked me in around my shifts at work. I left there feeling like a true valued customer due to them begin so welcoming. I had my car fixed a few days later and when I dropped off and collected my keys, the smiles were all still there! The cost was totally reasonable and I will no longer be searching for another garage, MARSHAMS is the one :) Thanks Georgia, Trish and the whole of the team there, you have a customer for life :)
