Fantastic service from Inchcape VW Manchester, Richard Lovery was great to deal with - buying a vehicle before anyone had seen one, and while information was limited, delays were being experienced across all aspects of the motor industry with new cars, and Richard kept me well informed throughout. I purchased the van from this centre a year earlier and over the year the side door lock has stopped working correctly, he very Kindly offered a complimentary replaced lock. This is our first VW and our first van so we didn't know the territory. Arrangements made on the phone were efficient and friendly. When we got to the service centre we were seen straight away and carefully listened to by Mike. VW had problems with the software update but Mike kept us informed of progress at every step. We were seen by Simon when we came to collect the van and he was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We had warranty matters and service dealt with in the same visit and everything was very satisfactory. First class service and excellent customer relations.

Vehicle in a longer than I wanted, but service guys fine and better than expected from a main dealership. The guy who handed the vehicle back to me was sound and a credit to your company. I deal with a lot of service reception people and these are at the top end. They don't treat you like a idiot and answered questions. I usual find they think they are talking to a child who knows nothing about anything.

Morning , this was my first Motability car . After a chat with my son (who was going to drive it)& the fact i get anxious in small spaces , we decided that a transporter was our best option . We dealt with Tristan from the sales team. He was brilliant . Kept up up to speed , never gave us false hope , of when the vehicle would arrive.COVID has turned everything on it's head , & even the best laid plans have been scuppered . I rang this dealership this morning and spoke to David regarding a used vehicle I had seen on their website. Unfortunately the one I wanted had been sold, however, there was a similar model available. David answered my questions patiently and even offered to shoot a video commentary for me, as I live some distance away. He sent the detailed and informative video via email within half an hour and left a telephone message for me to confirm that I had received it. I emailed back with more questions and once again, David answered them thoroughly. I decided to make the journey to Manchester to see the van 'in the flesh'. I was most impressed that the vehicle was much cleaner and tidier than I had expected (knowing that camera angles and lighting can lie!!) As a '67 plate it had been very well looked after with virtually no sign of wear (as a styling photographer I tend to be somewhat OCD and can be very picky about cosmetic aesthetics) David was not at all pushy but suggested alternative options for my specific requirements. Even though this van was in fabulous condition, it wasn't quite what I was looking for. David readily accepted my vehicle 'wish list' and has started a search on my behalf. Based on David's quality of service, I have every confidence that he will be successful in finding my Dream VW and that I will return to Inchcape Manchester to make my purchase.

Due to Covid they left me in a freezing room with no seating for nearly an hour, then they handed over my brand new van with a fault light flashing on the dash board, and told me ..... it will al'right and should sort its self out in time..... since I suffer from anxiety this wasn't the best.... things could have been better.

Took our Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life intof Volkswagen Van Centre, Manchester for its first Service. Staff polite, courteous and did the job whilst I waited. Vehicle is Motability and communicate with them regarding jobs not quite due such as the Pollen Filter, which Motability gave permission for. I waited about 90 minutes, car returned Serviced and Washed. Downside. Getting to Volkswagen Manchester for 08.30 from my home means leaving 07.30 which is a real struggle for me theses days due to my I'll health. Arranging for the car to be collected from our home has to be arranged well in advance, too far really and there are very few courtesy vehicles available and none with the alterations ours has.This is our second Caddy, the first we got from Volkswagen, Manchester but they no longer do Motability which is a problem. This car we got from TBC based in Northern Ireland. Ideally, it suit us far better if Volkswagen Cars, Bury, serviced our vehicle. It is much nearer.Alt hough, I love the Caddy, I'might not sure that I would buy another due to the difficulties described above.
