I bought my new Peugeot 5008 from this place and let me tell you my experience from start to finish... We visited peugeot after reading good reviews about the car... Soon as you walk in there is a customer service desk and service desk... Which you can speak to but I had the pleasure of being approached by Sam. He wasn't pushy and provided me a real good insight into the car I was looking for... And we tuck it for a test drive... I had already read up on the car before hand and I was already confident in the car and Sam further strengthen my opinion on it. We then sat down and started looking at spec and cost... And a finance option... Sam gave me a non biased opinions on the types of finance and what my long term plans were with the car and decided on a plan suited to me. I eventually went for the GT line premium after speaking to my partner and loved every bit of it. I also had a Dilemma as I was already in a courtesy car so didn't want to wait to long for the car... So was promised the car for 2 week ish... As the two weeks approuched and it was looking like it.. BUT Dan the dealership manager offered me the same model from the showroom while mine was delivered free of charge which I think was a class act and really appricated. I was regularly contacted by both Sam and Dan... And I have to say the wait for the car was worth it. I know some people have commented on the service from here but I find it hard to believe some of the stories as the setup wouldn't allow it. I've had the car afew days and pleased so far.

Compelling alternative in fantastic customer service and safe hands. Paul Jackson, must ask for when looking to pursue a new vehicle. I can honestly say if it wasn’t for his customer service and care, we wouldn’t have bothered. For weeks we’ve been looking to sort something out without hassle or to be forgotten about from other dealers. I’m came across Robin & Day by accident taking an alternative route to work and thought I’d call up to see what they could do as I was getting fed up with other retailers poor service and lack of organised follow up. Paul, was professional and knowledgeable. He discussed options, he’s genuinely interested in us as a customer and our needs. I think you buy more than a piece of metal (car), you buy the service and aftercare for when it’s needed and I am for once, extremely confident and trust this brand and service. To me Paul has gone above and beyond and should be commended for his service, with any slight issue or concern he’s addressed them with care and put us at the heart of the service he provided. I’d be sure to recommend this place, all of the staff were polite, there were no vultures praying on an easy sale. They were professional and provided all of the facts. Honestly, other retailers could benefit from visiting to and speaking to this site; they’d pick up a good thing or two.

==Follow up== Had a good chat with Nick (management) today, who has booked the car in again with an aim to get the issues resolved and a commitment of a free service/MOT next year for the problems caused - A good solution proposed and regained trust in this garage - hopefully this was just a bump in the road :). ==original Review== Damage caused when I had a tyre replaced here in the picture. Staff failed to correctly note my telephone number meaning I had to make multiple visits. Unexpected charges for a hire car on the first visit, total price quoted on the phone was not reality. Hidden charges for PPE that again I was not told about when booking. Given the wrong date for the second visit and no hire car booked. Asked them to check windscreen wipers and they just did not bother, on the second visit I reminded them and was told a 3rd visit would be needed as they are out of stock. I would avoid this place for any service work - its just terrible!

When I arrived for a scheduled appointment and test drove, the salesperson who was originally supposed to see me had not turned up for work that day so instantly felt a bit disheartened thinking I was going to be asked to come back another day and time, but no, in stepped Robert Batley like a knight in shining armour, he quickly made myself and my partner felt at ease, offered drinks and I explained why I was there and what I wanted, Robert was so friendly and easy-to talk too and he wasn’t pushy like some sales people I had come across in the past, he arranged pictures of my current car and let me go for a test drive in the exact car I wanted, and came back and made a deal and even bought the car I test drove! I cannot wait to pick it up. Everything went so smooth as soon as Robert took over and I could tell he had a busy day and he even missed his lunch hour to make our deal on the car. That’s what I call customer service, he also kept me updated with the finance etc. What a top guy! Thanks Robert you are a star!

Very good experience at Robins and Day in Salford. Assisted by very a personable and professional salesman, Curtis, when looking at a used Qashqai. He made the process efficient and straight forward and was lovely to deal with.The price offered for my part exchanged vehicle was low compared to several valuations at other dealerships. However, this was somewhat offset by the very good price of the Qashqai which is in excellent condition and low mileage; it was very competitively priced compared to multiple others I look at, at a lower spec and much more body work damage. Dan the sales man went above and beyond to ensure that my sale went smoothly. From seeing and securing car online it took less than a week before I was able to collect my new car, all at a distance of 2 metres of course !. UPDATE: After communicating with the general manager and aftersales manager, this was sorted properly and was very well handled in the end. They obviously care about their customers and paid attention to my complaint. Thanks R&D! ***** Did MOT and Minor Service on my Peugeot 2008 today. After everything was done one of the rear reg plate lights did not work. When enquiring about it, the person fixed it by using his pen to open the cover and push the light in its place. It wasn't making good contact. Very annoying, because they called me during the day to say these lights need replacing in order to pass MOT. If I am not in the habbit of checking around the car after a garage visit, I would have missed this and driven home 6 miles away, only to find out the light doesn't work and car is not compliant to MOT. Robins & Day, when you fix something, check it works first before handing ot over to the customer!

Went through a company car scheme to get the new E208. And the car it’s self is just spot on. Waited about 8 months for it, would have got it sooner but due to COVID it held things up which it is what it is. However, I must say Robins & Day Peugeot Manchester‘s fleet customer services are second to non, within the last two weeks of my car being delivered they kept up with my emails and phone calls which was amazing because anyone else probably would have just got annoyed but they understood that I like to know the detail and what’s going on which was extremely nice. My initial experience here when buying my used car wasn't great and I wrote a review reflecting my frustration. But I've been really impressed by the way Dan, the second hand sales manager, and his team (sorry I have a rubbish memory for names) have put things right, even though I left it longer to voice my complaints than I should have. I really didn't expect anything to happen so I've been blown away by the efforts they've made to make up for my initial experience. I should also say that the service department were very helpful when we needed some warranty repairs carrying out, explaining the problem in depth and resolving it quickly.

I Have Been Using Robin's And Day Salford Since It moved over from the other site. Firstly, everytime I come in for my service or MOT I normally wait, I have never had to wait longer than an hour and half and always given an update midway if anything changes. Secondly, whilst waiting, I am always impressed by the standard of waiting area, they always have some sort of 'snack', today it was sweets and apple pies. Unlimited drinks machine and a TV. Doesnt help my waistline but it's a nice added touch! Thirdly, the customer service is fantastic, I have seen them deal with some difficult customers and I have honestly been very impressed with how they have carried themselves. Polite and pleasant always and engage in light chat which is always bonus! I like you dont get mithered either by salesman, I was happy walking around looking at the cars and didnt feel I was going to be hounded. Noone is ever happy paying out for stuff with cars but my experience is that they are fair and I trust they wont Rip me off like other garages. Keep up the good work!
