The customer service was amazing, I felt very comfortable throughout the full process and never felt like I was being pushed and/or pressured into the sale. The salesman (Sam Holmen) helped me check my eligibility for finance, as I am a young driver - so I basically sat back and did nothing. He searched hard and found my dream car and kept me updated throughout the whole process, to ensure I was happy with the vehicle. I was also really nervous about going out in the car for a test drive with a member off staff, as all the other cars I had test drove (from other companies) were independent, but Joe made me feel very comfortable and told me I had nothing to be afraid of. All of the staff at Arnold Clark were very welcoming and friendly, I couldn’t recommend this business any higher. I will definitely use Arnold Clark for the rest of my life, as you’re guaranteed a safe, clean and beautiful vehicle. Thank you to all the staff that helped guide me in the right direction at Bellway Industrial Estate.

I would like to start of this review by saying that I have never bought a new vehicle ever from a car dealership and was a little nervous after reading horror stories about people purchasing different cars from all over the UK from all different dealerships . I was nervous until I spoke to Laura Lambie over the phone. Can't thank her enough for all she has did for me and my family. She went above and beyond to get us the car that we wanted. I have been to Arnold Clarke in Benton three times this week as I was very undecided what car to buy. We were looked after by Product consultants Dylan Robson, John Mitchenson and Joe. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Out of 5 local garages we visited, one of which was a main VW dealer, these lads were by far the best consultants. Excellent service. Francesca Johnston dealt with our sale and she was brilliant from start to finish. Booked a test drive, received a video showing us the interior and exterior of the car before we arrived. Staff were really efficient, the car was waiting ready for us, we had been advised what to bring and paperwork we could complete to speed things up. We were asked what kind of driving we wanted to do before the test drive and taken on appropriate roads. The valuation of our car was done while we were out test driving and we were talked through the whole thing and the rationale for the valuation. The sale and paperwork were all completed quickly and efficiently and we were able to collect the car two days later. Between the purchase and collection we received updates And a video showing key features of the car which has proved useful after bringing the car home. We have been contacted since the sale to check everything is ok and to see if there was anything else they could do for us. Can’t fault the experience at all and have recommended the dealership to family.

Sam, the salesperson who was handling my case, was very helpful. I came to Benton to test drive a car, with the intention of test driving a similar car at the Newcastle SEAT branch, having fully anticipated taking taxis from one to the other and back. Sam, instead, drove me to the Newcastle branch and took me for my test drive in that vehicle as well. He then drove me home afterward. I ended up getting the car from the Benton branch, which they had waiting for me at the Newcastle branch (closest to my home) to pick up once finance admin went through. As usual, Arnold Clark's customer service is beyond reproach and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a car.

I have been a long time customer of Arnold Clark, and have just recently collected my 4th car from them (the 2nd from this branch). My wife and I were planning on looking for a new car anyways, but I received a call from Anil Agac at the branch who, conveniently, invited me to come in for an account review as I was nearing the end of my current finance and had a good amount of equity in my current car. We already had an idea of what we were looking for, and the branch had plenty of stock to choose from that fit the bill. Anil was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the whole process, and explained everything clearly with no pushy salesman stuff like you often get elsewhere. When it came to making the deal he was able to give me a great part-ex price, and also managed to knock a little off the price off the new car as well, and the new car was ready to collet in just 2 days. Again, the handover process was seamless and easy, and I drove away completely happy. I'll absolutely be getting my next car here when the time comes, and hope to deal with Anil again. Thanks!

Great service from Paul Stafford! Prior to Arnold Clark, I had poor and terrible dealings with another car dealership and Paul completely changed my expectations in terms of my previous experience. Fantastic service from all the staff at Benton Arnold clark. I've been having a really difficult time finding a good quality second hand car, looked everywhere for over 2 months then I discovered my ideal car at Arnold Clark. Only issue is I live in liverpool and the car was in Newcastle! Not a problem for the staff at Benton Arnold Clark. Full arrangements were made for a speedy transfer to my local Arnold Clark store. The car arrived in top condition delivered in person by two of the lads from the Newcastle store ( a 11 hour trip for the two of them God Love Them), both fantastic lads and so good natured. All the staff I dealt with online and by phone were so so friendly and accomodating from Ed the managing director to the delivery lads but the one that stands out the most is Jordan Martin WOW what can I say. He went to great personal effort to make sure we were completely happy with our purchase, happy with the process, happy to answer ANY of my questions ANY time of the day or night and he went above and beyond to ensure we were fully comfortable with our first online purchase. He is a star. I have to add I am a notorious OCD person and I am very hard to please especially when it comes to me parting with my hard earned cash, but dealing with Jordan and Benton Arnold Clark made me feel like royalty. I felt like I was important to them and I was purchasing the most expensive car on the lot, even though I wasn't . It is such a breath of fresh air to deal with consummate professionals who are knowledgeable and thorough as well as being approachable and warm and friendly. Helpful on the whole. Not much in the actual showroom (just 2 cars) but a range of demonstrators are available. Roadworks on site are causing a bit of disruption for pickups/drop offs for servicing. I'd suggest phoning ahead to check whether they have your model on site for sales.

The Benton Seat branch service is 5 star. They're quick, efficient, friendly, honest and do a really good job. Service advisers are lovely, warm and friendly, they keep you up to date, offer to make tea or coffee if you choose to wait for your car. The lovely service adviser Vicky that dealt with me gave me a card with her number, name etc on and said to ring if I have any problems or need a free oil or screen wash top up. She was incredibly easy to talk to and also gave me a good laugh. Felt very welcome and the staff created a very friendly atmosphere. Couldn't recommend this benton branch any more.
