For most of us outside the motor trade, buying or selling a car seems like entering a shark pen with raw tuna strapped to your foot; there are no shortage of those out there to pull your leg. But I found the experience with David altogether different.
From the off he was straightforward and sought to explain the process that he undertook and what any implication may be. He encouraged me to research his business - typifying an openness that carried on throughout our discussions. His opening price didn't vary in later discussions, he simply said that if my car is what I said it was then that is the price he would pay. He then did thorough diligence but was never pernickety; I didn't ever get annoyed with him or his representatives. In the end there were no surprises, simply a transaction that went as smoothly as I could wish.
I know not everyone will have the same experience as me. I also know that my experience leads me to believe that one would be much less likely to have a bad experience, certainly a surprise one, from people who are straight up. And my experience was that this is how this business operates.
So, you might have guessed, it was good for me. The most important way I can say this is that when I am next in the market for a nice vehicle, here is the first place I'll look.

Was selling my Audi S5 privately and approached via Email by David James Ltd with a sensible offer.
They outlined the simple approach to their purchasing model and followed up with a telephone call from Kylan.
The offer was only marginally less than I'd have taken privately and after reading their reviews, decided to accept the offer with a definite sale and simple financial transaction.
They paid a deposit immediately by bank transfer based on my honest description with additional pictures supplied of minor issues on the car.
Collection was organised promptly at my convenience and full payment made before the car left.
When selling a car of this value, it would've been at some risk to sell to a private individual, or to some of the other dealers that approached me, however I felt immediately confident with this company and they delivered flawlessly.

Within a week received a very reasonable offer to purchase the car from David Applegarth the company owner. After a telephone discussion with Sean to clarify condition/ service history/ any defects I decided to accept offer and received a £100 deposit paid directly to my bank account. Later that week, Dan travelled to collect the car giving it a check over and test drive. As all was as described, the balance of sale price was paid directly into bank account, paperwork signed and car driven off. A very friendly and smooth transaction and would recommend this option to anyone who wishes to sell a car without all the hassle of private viewings and haggling. Price achieved was well in excess of part exchange value but slightly less than private sale value (which could have taken many weeks of advertising to achieve). Was advised that most cars sold by David James are hand picked this way from careful private owners rather than from auction.
