Fantastic service. I haven't been to a car dealer for many years and was a bit apprehensive. Redgate Lodge were highly professional, courteous and Stew was a pleasure to deal with. He took time to deal with all my questions, replied promptly to emails and made the whole experience enjoyable. They operate a fixed pricing policy but the price of the car I wanted was very competitive so no issue there. They charge a service and preparation fee of £149 but the car was prepared to a very high standard. I test drove it and found no issues so was pleasantly surprised to read the inspection report (which Stew emailed to me) and find that new front discs and pads, front and rear wiper blades had been fitted in addition to a oil and filter service. When I picked the car up it was absolutely immaculate inside and out. It really was in show room condition. I would highly recommended Redgate Lodge if you want a first class, friendly, no pressure service and I will definitely return when I come to change my car.

They offered me an amazing price for my car and the turnaround was imminent, they took care of settling the finance and transferred the balance to my account. A member of staff Gary Irwin came to my place of work and collected my car, he’s an absolute pleasure to deal with and knows his job, I will always use Redgate Lodge for buying and selling of my cars, Gary is a top professional and his after sales service is amazing. I did get a quote from other companies and when they came out they offered me Less but Redgate lodge offered me what they said they would. I’d definitely recommend them.

I was selling my car on Gumtree and within a few minutes I was contacted by Steve. He was very efficient and easy to talk to and after going through a few details we had a deal. They collected the car at a time convenient to me. They sent over a deposit and transferred the balance before the car was loaded onto the truck. Overall extremely happy with the service. Fantastic experience… tried my luck after getting a rather disappointing quote for my part exchange. Steve was fantastic and was easy to deal with. And ended up beating my part ex quote by £1000 and beat we buy any car by £300… Steve turned up with a colleague and was extremely professional and a credit to the company. Fair conversation and again very easy to deal with. Bought my pearlescent white Honda Civic diesel very swift deal and I was happy with how everything was handled.

After been quoted 1.5k for a new bumper for my car from another local garage I found redgate online and had tons of great reviews so thought I'd get an estimate. Recently purchased a car. Although its lockdown and we couldn't see or test drive the car its hard to make a decision on spending 16 thousand. So everything needed to be judged on the pictures on autoloader. Once we has singed the documents we then saw a video of the same car with different wheels, blacked out windows. This was different from the picture from what we saw, as looked really boy racer. When I called the next morning, Andy the manager said he has checked the video and its not had wheels changed and didn't know what I was on about... He did go check the car and it was the one in the picture and not the version blinged up. So I said I have the video here your advertising and its got different wheels and windows and will send him the auto trader link. I never heard a reply from him to acknowledge from him...Even a quick reply saying sorry your right, we released a video of the car before we changed wheels and window,.. Basically its more the customer after we had singed the documents just seemed they were not bothered as the deal had been done, especially when we collect the car and they say the bonnet won't open and needs repairing. When spending 16k you expect that to have been done especially when they charged 149 pound to prepare the car for collection. Yes the car is fine, but after sales care Once been done needs looking into.

If you need your car to be resprayed on a bump or a scratch that won't come out of the paint work than this is the best place to go to as they do it for you and they have it done for you at a time that you want and it's cheaper than most places and it's just off the A19 towards Whitley bay and on a round about on your right hand side
