My relationship with Tyne Valley got off to a rocky start with them not returning calls and a bit of a poor 'front desk' telephone manner and I originally rated them 1 star based on that service! However, after finally getting a face to face appointment things changed rapidly. On our first look around the Chausson 711 we were accompanied by a very young man named Callum. Do not let his boyish looks lure you into thinking he won't know much about the motorhomes! Callum is exceptionally knowledgeable about the product and he spent a good chunk of his time answering our every question. His approach and knowledge make him a very strong asset to the company! We were genuinely neck and neck with the 711 and a Benimar, but the Benimar Sales manager would not give a price, other than to say we wouldn't be beaten. I wanted a number. At Tyne Valley, I spoke to Simon (Sales Manager) and he put together a no pressure deal for us to consider. We shook hands on the deal and was told it would be a couple of months down the line as the French factory had just started their Summer shutdown. It did eventually arrive (albeit a couple of weeks later than hoped), and we popped up for a viewing/demo drive. A pleasant surprise was Callum had come in on the Sunday (his day off) just to spend a couple of hours with us! Top marks once again Callum! That done, our van went into the workshops for modifications pending pick up a few weeks later. The transaction/pick up was very smooth. Throwing in a nice bottle of wine and a couple of glasses was a nice touch and much appreciated - thank you Simon! After getting it home there was an intermittent problem with the rear view camera and the carpet was frayed. Upon reporting this they filed a warranty claim for the carpet (which will hopefully be here in a couple of weeks) and they authorized an auto electrician to come to me and replace the rear view camera! Jason was like a more experienced Callum - very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable too! As well as doing the camera, he re-sealed a couple of areas, fixed the webasto thermostat (which was disconnected), did his utmost to balance the heat distribution of the webasto blowers (that I had just got round to testing the night before), showed me the tv aerial booster and vertical/horizontal tv adjustments to enable a good tv reception, explained the solar panel, tested the hot water boiler and showed me one or two other nuances and ways around the van. In sum, Simon spear heading, Callum in sales and Jason in the workshops really have managed to turn around this initial poor relationship with Tyne Valley. They are definitely trying their utmost to do the right things to satisfy customers. I have bought their Service Package and hopefully, this great service will continue, as thus far, from Sales to After Sales, they have ticked all the boxes that may well entice me back to give them my future custom. Based on my experiences so far, I would definitely recommend Tyne Valley Motorhomes.

Got a canopy fitted from Tyne Valley the first time it was back they'd put the wrong fuse on and it blew. The second time we put up the canopy up and it broke. Went back to Tyne valley they said it was caused by wind damaged. Even though there was no wind. Wouldn't recommend this company very poor customer service. Spoke to johnathon about our problems and he got it sorted within a couple of weeks .

I bought a motor home at the end of 2021 , only a couple of minor thinge needed seen to and were delt with very quickly . Both the sales team and the service dept were prompt in sorting everything out for me . Yes I would recommend anyone looking for a motor home to go along they have a vast knowledge and are willing to help in any way .

Yesterday I placed an order for an Auto Trail EKS motorhome. I must say it was a very positive visit to this dealers. Every person from the receptionist, who was very attentive, to Callum, Simon the Sales Manager and the CEO made it a pleasant experience. We managed to get a good deal, and the CEO went that little bit further on the price for us which was really a special touch. Based on our visit I am happy that we will be using this dealer for services and any accessories that we may need. Well done all.

Recently visited tynevalley Motorhomes to view a MH my wife and i liked.after leaving a deposit , we went home to organise additional finance to fund the vehicle. Alas, this wasnt to be, and our deposit was returned after 7 days or so. The service that we recieved from this company was exceptional. Friendly staff, coffee on arrival, but ,the biggest asset to this company is johnathon jeavons. Johnathon is not a pushy salesman. I found him to be honest, open, informative and a truely nice guy. He is a credit to this company ,and a valuable asset. Thank you johnathon.if your looking for a new or used MH, go no further than this company.i will be back to buy from them, when i have all the funds to do so.

Waited a year before posting this review. Sales staff good, handover good. 2 warranty issues dealt with promptly and with no fuss. Took out a service contract, could have been a risky move not having used this dealer before. Just been for habitation Chech and vehicle service. No issues, no dramas. In 17 years of owning a MoHo this is the best dealer service I have had. So well done guys, keep it up. Read some of the negative reviews which are a worry though. But I speak honestly as I find .

We had our habitation check carried out TVM , and had some damp issue in the boot area , moho just been into them to get hab work done plus other warranty issues , all resolved and we received fantastic customer service with contact throughout via text, phone calls and email. TVM were not my supplier but we cannot fault their after service, very efficient and a lot quicker than my original dealer . Just 1 last issue touch wood to resolve and are awaiting a call once parts /seals plus decals arrive on site . Keep up the good work and great service ..

Where to start? We purchased our new Chausson titanium over the internet without visiting July 4th 2020. We live in Derby. The service and contact was something we hadn’t experienced before. FIRST CLASS AFTERSALES SERVICE My caravan required servicing and I was directed to Tyne Valley Motorhomes by a friend in the caravan club. I had heard good things about them so I thought to give them a try. The booking process was flawless, i was unable to speak to them straight away so I left number. Within ten minutes my call was returned and the booking made with price and availibility. On arriving I was made to feel valued and the caravan was checked over and taken to workshop. The work was carried out on time and the quote given was the price charged. Caravan was washed and parked ready to pull away. This company exceeded my expectations and have secured my future servicing requirements A BIG WELL DONE TO EVERYONE. .

We are just taking delivery of our second motorhome from Tyne Valley and have found the whole experience very easy and most helpful. We visited to view and ask advice on how to use a motorhome as we had no experience whatsoever. The saleman who helped us was Simon and he spent time and effort to explain everything we asked. Simon manner was most helpful even though we he did not know if we were serious buyers or just looking. Once we thought a van may be suitable, but wondered if it would fit on the drive, Simon brought it around to the house so we were fully satisfied. We had extras fitted and a couple of faults rectified by the service department and again our experience was first class, telephoning when the van was ready and even keeping it for us until it was convenient to collect it. We went back to Simon when we thought we may need a better van and again Tyne Valley were very fair with our trade in value and fitted all our extras from the old van onto the new one. Overall a very easy experience and very good people to do business with. :)

Called in in the hope of getting a fresh water external waste pipe, (mine was holed therefore leaking). One of the service managers took the old on away and after a coffee and a chat to other customers he returned with a new pipe. Not only was the coffee free the pipe was too. Things couldn't be any better. Thank you very much Tyne Valley Motorhomes. A fine selection of vehicles to drool over as well.

My wife and I highly recommended Tyne Valley Motorhomes (TVMH) because:- They have evidenced a belief in building a long term, personal relationship (good for motorhome long term investment). Evidenced flexibility. Don't just follow systems to suit them. You can meet the aftercare staff. The technicians acknowledge you. You can talk to the person working on your motorhome. You get to know names. The aftercare teams (service and admin) are knowledgeable, helpful and willing. Sometimes they get it wrong, just as we do. With tolerance and manners on both parts we laugh in the end. They can draw on extensive experience across a number of manufacturers. Shown good warranty experience to us. Dealing with manufactures isn't easy. The business started with Derek & Elaine Armstrong building and selling motorhomes from their driveway. Jonathan, the son is now the active principle. A very approachable person. These family is still very much in daily evidence. They know the motorhome business from the hands on ground up. Not like some we have found with vested self interests first. Events don't always go according to plan, either ours or theirs; however we have always found with a willingness to listen, consider and respect from each others experience we have found solutions and believe we have a good long term relationship. Bought my motorhome 4 years ago from tyne valley motorhomes, return every year for my habitation service with a loan car, always get a phone call a month before its due by the service department to arrange a booking, service always completed within a day ready to drive out looking clean as ever from the free service wash :)
