Purchasing a car from Snows was an easy process.
The car was advertised on Auto trader and a phone call with the salesman Craig Spence at Snows resulted in me having a bespoke video show round of the car including various points I had asked about.
I have never purchased a car without seeing and driving it but I had confidence in the fact that it was coming from a main dealer with a full years warranty.
Craig was professional and courteous throughout and even got the car delivered to my home free of charge.
I am very pleased with the car but was disappointed with the presentation . I understand that it had been driven and therefore would have had some dirt but the inside had obviouslyhad some spray cleaner applied and everything was slippery. This meant that I had to clean it before my first drive.... slightly disappointing but overall a good experience.

No problems with the service itself, but there was 2 other things that were disappointing.
1. Having had dealings with Snows Forest Road, for over 20 years, to be told I would not only have to pay for the use of a courtesy car also having to pay for collection & return option.
2. Secondly when I phoned at 3pm I was told that the car was just about to be cleaned and that I would be told when it was ready. I heard nothing for 1and a half hours so at 4.30pm my son dropped me off to collect the car. After paying for the service the receptionist brought the car around and apologised that due to a problem they had not been able to clean the car.
Gone are the days when you felt important in dealing with Snows.

We asked Snows to look at a fiddly electrical problem that was draining the battery badly. In London the earliest we could get this looked at was mid December !...we happened to be on the IOW for a couple of days. They sorted the problem and were extremely helpful on pointing out a few other bits needing to be done at some All round their team was an example of what really good service should be - well done.

My wife and I visited Snows a few weeks ago to view and ultimately purchase our new car. The whole experience from initial contact to finally receiving the car at home was completely painfree. Absolutely nothing was a problem for Fleur, although she was a little forceful when it came to making us drink the hot chocolate. But to be fair she was right it is delicious!
Even after the car was delivered and I discovered a very minor defect it was rectified professionally and with no inconvenience to us at all.
I would recommend Snows to anyone, the only problem is the cost of the ferry to get onto the island but with a bit of preplanning you could probably get a much better deal than I did.

I don't give 5 stars lightly, but I feel it is justified in the case of Snows. I've not had any previous experience with them, so having found the car I was looking for at a good price on the internet, I gave them a call.
Sam was my contact who was very professional and courteous and even made a video especially for me of the car as I live a long way away and couldn't go and see it.
He returned my calls when he said he would and quickly arranged free delivery of my car, which then arrived newly serviced & MOT'd.
The only complaint I did have was a slight oil leak on the sump bolt, I got this fixed and Snows were very apologetic and paid for it to be put right in a timely manner.
The car also cam with a three month warranty.
Next time I buy a car on the internet, if I see it is from Snows, I'll be confident that I'll be dealt with well, which is always a worry when buying things over the internet involving lots of money with someone you don't know.

I started the quest for a Mini locally to me in south east London in February. I answered the pop-up from Carwow and local dealer was not interested despite his dealership taking part. I took our Fiesta along for valuation and never heard from them - staggering. I was met with disinterest and lies: nearly new cars advertised on their websites were I was told "sold with 3 buyers chasing". On closer questioning they were demonstrators not available until June anyway and this was in February. Calling Snows and speaking with Phillip Clarke was like talking with a grown-up at last and a huge relief: honest, straightforward, no bluffing and offering a discount. New Mini arrived today in south east London from Isle of Wight: great result would recommend highly. Thank you Snows.

Purchasing a car online from this dealership was straightforward and smooth. Craig was very helpful and friendly on the phone/email to check things and provide me with information. What disappointed me a bit was the attention to detail that wasn't as expected; the car wasn't cleaned on delivery (it had bird poo on the roof), the fuel tank was empty, you misspelled my name on the v5c form and you sent me a bunch of docs to sign without really explaining me what they are. Thanks for fixing some of these after the fact, overall had a good experience and I'm really enjoying the car!! :)

Fantastic experience with Snows for my MOT. Having moved back to the island after a few years away I didn't really know where was best to go for an MOT. Booked Snows via bookmygarage online for a great price. Pick up/collect for £25 seemed reasonable given the convenience it allows you i.e. not having to take a day off work etc. GREAT comms from the team before and throughout the MOT including a 2-min video from the engineer showing tread depth advisories etc.
Also, car came back looking shiny and was hoovered throughout for no extra cost! This was a VERY nice touch and my car definitely needed it...super handy when you're always too busy to get round to it yourself!
I will surely use Snows again for future MOTs and Services and recommend them to anyone reading this!

I don't often write reviews, but when I do, It's thoroughly deserved. i recently bought a Mini Cooper S - a computer on wheels!
We met Sophie, the sales executive, on two occasions. The first was to discuss the purchase of the car, and the second on completion of the sale. Sophie could not have been more helpful. Friendly, but remaining professional at all times.
All details re the purchase were thoroughly explained, and no pressure was applied to add any extras onto the purchase price.
On the day of collection we followed Sophie in her car to a garage to fill up the Mini with fuel, pro bono, which was unexpected.
Sophie is a real asset to the Snows Company, and given her friendly, helpful, patient and professional demeanour she's sure to progress upwards through the company.

I have dropped a star for the ‘free valet’ as I was left with windows that were more smeared than when I turned up. I get it seems a bit churlish to complain about something that was free but I had to go and get my car washed again due to how smeared the windows were.

We saw an advert for a mini convertible located in Snows Portsmouth garage. We asked if it could be brought over to the Isle of Wight so we could test drive it.
