Booked a special offer MOT and car failed (item known to go on that make and model). No pressure from F1 to have it done by them so got it fixed at a Land Rover place. Had re-test and the wheel alignment checked. Technician Nicholas showed me that just one wheel was in true and explained how that affected driving and tyre wear. Had the wheels aligned (£47.99) and the difference on the road is amazing. We use F1 for these kind of routine service jobs on both our cars (Land Rovers). However - the customer waiting area was freezing. Manager Gavin apologised and said he had repeatedly asked F1 to sort it. Come on F1 suport your great team there.

Quick, fast and reliable garage. Good customer service. You have the option to wait for your vehicle while they repair it. Toilets on site. Also, it's located close to sainsburys (sixfields) and there's a car wash next door which is convenient. One thing that stood out for me was that they show you parts of the vehicle that's damaged or worn before replacing. 👌

After spending a while looking around for a different garage near me to do my MOT and service and after seeing their awesome prices I decided to take a leap of faith and book. I have been a customer since I first had a car, over 10 years ago, and have always had good customer service and reasonable pricing. Following an issue on Saturday with my car, I headed for Formula 1 knowing that would be the best place to get a fix but the staff went beyond and excelled. Despite the team trying all efforts to get my car back on the road that day, I needed a specialist part that was dealer only but they told me if I could get it they would fix my car. After going to the dealer on Monday and ordering the part I was able to arrange my car to be fixed Tuesday, the people working on Monday & Tuesday were equally helpful as the Saturday guys.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the service my young daughter received from your centre at the weekend. We had booked her car in to have 2 tyres replaced (advisory on MOT carried out at a different garage) but on inspection, your mechanics realised there was nothing wrong with the tyres and so told my daughter they didn't feel it was right to change perfectly good tyres and waste her money (or mine as she's a student!!) There wasn't even a small charge for the work involved to check the tyres. It's so nice to be able to trust a garage. I had my own tyre replaced there the week before and was impressed with the service I received which is why I chose the same centre for my daughter's car. I have now received a full refund and will be booking my own car in for any tyres or work that is needed in the future. So friendly and efficient. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment but was ushered straight to a workstation and told that my tyre would be replaced in 15-20 minutes. I popped out shopping, returning 20 minutes later and sure enough my car was waiting for me, ready to go. Because I had already paid online it was just then a matter of picking up my key and then driving away. All in all I was there for less than 25 minutes! Having had in recent years very poor experiences with garages,Formula One ( Gambrel Rd) came highly recommended. I am delight to report that i was really impressed and not disappointed with the service i received. I was on my 4th coil pack since March 2020 with a frustrating depollution system fault on my Peugeot 307. Gavin managed to look at the car on Sunday and diagnosed the issue within 5 mins!!! A wire that was broken and causing a shorting out on the coil pack. Left the car with them and all sorted on Monday. Thank you so much! You are my new go to garage, and i am very happy to recommend you guys.

The overall experience was great, I had two tyres replaced and wheel alignment done. The only issue was that after the alignment my steering wheel was tilted to the right, but luckily it was all done again on the second day. Other than that, the staff is friendly and polite so I would definitely go there again.

I would like to recommend my experience very highly since this was quick, easy, convenient and the cost was reasonable. So very good in most aspects. However, whilst I understand that the wheel nut lock was required for the removal of the tyres and this was to be found in the rear compartment of the boot area, it would have been good if all of what was taken out in the retrieval of this could have been put back with more care and attention to how it was found.

The manageress at this store is a real credit to F1 I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. Without her intervention this would be a one star review. I was quoted one price over the phone and when I arrived it was clear that the person who booked in my car hadn't booked on the system. I said dont worry as a que had started to build up behind me. As I had some work to do moved to the customer waiting area where i waited for about an hour. The manageress managed to deal with the other customers and then came in and told me the price that I was quoted over the phone was incorrect by nearly £200 (more). I had no choice but to proceed as my car was in and I was due to drive 400 miles the next day for a work meeting. Whilst I waited another hour for the parts to arrive. A mechanic let me know that my car had some other issues that I was unaware of. I decided to call a couple of other garages from the waiting area and got quoted back to the lower price I was quoted. I asked to see the manageress and told her that I was unhappy with the large increase in costs. She kindly said that she would re look at the price and the additional work that was required. We agreed on a price and I waited around another hour for everything to be completed.

Called several times to explain work required. Good customer service. No hassle. 260919 Had another service. Cheaper than quoted by Toyota. £145. Surprised they couldn't find the locking wheel nuts in my glovebox. Insisted they weren't there. Then found them. Bizarre. 150720 Had an MOT for £30 which was completed within the hour. Not sure the assistant knew about the free summer check I requested when I booked online. Once again I left scratching my head.

The welcome was good and polite, administration was straight forward and speedy, the car was on the ramp and being worked on within 5 minutes. The tyre technician was polite and eefficient. Overall the service was very good, time taken from arrival to departure was 25 minutes to replace 2 tyres and to balance and track all four wheels.

First visit was fine appointment time booked and tyres replaced. On my second visit one of the tyres was labelled wrong so could not be fitted due to wrong size. I understand mistakes happen so this was also Ok. The manager said he would call me Monday when new tyres had arrived. With no call by lunchtime i phoned and was promised a call back. Having received no call i once again phoned on Tuesday for an update. Wednesday tyres fitted. No issue with workmanship, but better communications goes a long way.

Booked and ordered tyres one month in advance even had emails because they could not get the tyres that I ordered from their website but needed different ones. A full service and mot. They recommended a change in pollen filter and sparks plugs which were only changed the previous year! After leaving the car with them all day and arriving when told at 5.45pm only to find no new tyres fitted but they had done a wheel balance! The tyres were not in stock, they had been but returned after an audit ! So I had to go back and spend an hour the following day to have tyres fitted. Yes they apologised but should they not check what they have booked in and see if they have the parts! And to wait to have the tyres fitted I had to buy my own coffee. Very disappointed.

Formula One gave me competitive prices on a good selection of tyres and an easy to use booking system. On arrival, my car was immediately brought into the bay leaving me just enough time to address a couple of work emails in their clean & comfortable waiting area before the job was complete. Their fast service resulted in me being back out on the road supporting the ambulance service as a Community First Responder. Easy to use, competitive, no fuss - I will be coming here again. Took my car here for service and Mot in July. Dropped off Friday evening for Sat appointment. All done and collected by 10.30am. Staff polite and did a good job. Returned to have new tyres fitted today. Again dropped off night before and collected by 10.30. What's not to like? Cannot fault this branch, excellent service!

Have been a long term customer of formula one. Always purchase tyres online as they are cheaper than in store. Now when you purchase on line you can choose a fitting timeslot . I chose 13.45 and asked to arrive 10 minutes early. I arrived 15 minutes before. The booking time is pointless. My car spent more time unattended with nothing happening. Two front tyres took over an hour to fit, absolutely ridiculous. That all said the guys did a good job, replaced the spare tyre and were courteous . The waiting room was dirty, no refreshment facilities, but I could spend my hour there looking at my car on a lift with nothing being done for most of that time.

Happy with online price and ease of booking appointment. On arrival 10 mins before the appointment time, was met with a 'well there are two in front of you' and then was told to allow another hour and a half. Not impressed; not so much with the time to fit 4 tyres but the attitude on the member of staff on reception; almost verging on rude. When I said I was anticipating 4 tyres taking about an hour at the most, was almost mocked. Next comment was 'what do you want me to do about it?' At the end was handed the paperwork and key with a blunt 'there you are, fitted in an hour'. In fact arrived at 0950 and keys returned at 1125. Have had plenty of tyres fitted before and usually in a max of an hour for 4. Regret going to Formula 1 and in future will use my local independent tyre dealer even if they are more expensive. Please sort out the customer service at this branch as it is really poor. Follow up: Contacted by branch manager with an apology a couple of days after visit. This phone call was appreciated and went some way to make amends to the issues described above. At least the phone call was made...not all companies would bother to follow up. So on that basis would change my star rating to 3 from the 1 initially given.

It's a good place to get your tyres replaced (I've never tried the other services). The only problem is that they say they will call you to say your tyre has come in, or your wheel is ready to collect, but they never seem to do this. Nice guys to deal with all the same.

Probably the most honest Company I have ever dealt with. I was advised by my garage that MOTd my car, I needed new tyres. F1 told me this was nonsense as there was plenty of tread left. Therefore I didn't have to buy any but when I do F1 will be first choice.
