I think most of us are not big fans of cars sales men! I must say my experience with this dealership was absolutely fantastic! Roger helped me through out the part exchange and they went beyond to ensure I am happy with my purchase. I also used the workshop service to paint the car wheels and I am very happy with the result! I would use their services again when I am in the market.

I purchased a 320d tourer from Wollaston BMW and from initial contact, right through to picking up the vehicle, I was extremely impressed. Dan was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble, even going above and beyond to move vehicles around the forecourt to take pictures which allowed me to compare the different colours side by side. I was kept informed throughout and there was never any pressure to buy which can often be the case in the world of car sales. Dan is an asset to the company and throughout the experience, gave a really professional, friendly and easy going vibe. I recently picked up a new (to me) 2017 BMW R1200 RS and had nothing but the most pleasurable experience ever. I walked into the dealership for the first time and caught eyes with a gentleman named Garry, I proceeded to ask about a bike that I’d seen online but fortunately had been sold. This was fortunate because it enabled me to look around a bit more and see what they had there and just as I was leaving spotted the RS. Garry was more than happy to help me with all the questions I had to ask, and went the extra mile with making a lovely brew for me and my mum. My overall experience when I left the shop that day was absolutely brilliant and as someone who works in a very customer facing job himself, understood how much leaving a review like this can help out. I had an issue with the battery and the bike starting so called the place up and before I even arrived that day, they had a loan bike arranged and ready for me to use but due to insurance reasons and my age I couldn’t use..but this was no issue! Garry and Stephen (the service manager I believe he was) were straight onto going the extra mile and replacing the battery completely there and then which I was more than thankful for.
I would like to personally thank everyone at BMW Wollaston who helped me and gave me the upmost respectful experience I’d ever had at a dealership before, and to say thank you to Garry for being so helpful and confident in helping me purchase my first ever BMW motorbike. I could not recommend this place more if you are looking for a dealership who’s reputation speaks for itself as soon as you walk through the door.

Excellent service. Even from nearly 150 miles away, the salesman couldn’t do enough to help and assist with our queries and decision on the purchase.
Having made the trip to collect the car, all the staff were very welcoming and really engaged with our young family, which enabled us to get all the paperwork done. The endless supply of drinks and chocolate also helped!

Perhaps the best customer service experience that I've ever encountered!
Let me start by saying I've been a KTM rider since my teens, so to move over to BMW was a big jump!
I wasn't keen on the new KTM 1290, so I thought I'd pop in to look for a used GSA1200. I met a sales rep in there called Brendan, who was highly knowledgeable and suggested I take a GSA1250 out for a test ride, to see what I thought. After the first five minutes, I knew this was the bike for me!
Brendan was patient with me, as I had to get permission from the boss (the Mrs!) And sell my KTM first. I appreciated this, as having spent a number of years in sales myself, I learned to avoid pushy sales people. Brendan sent me over some options and worked with me on the numbers, to ensure it was affordable for me.
Once we had found the model, Brendan and the team worked incredibly quickly in the background for me to collect the bike on my chosen day, with a fantastic hand over process.
Once I had purchased the bike, Brendan helped me to decide on the black panniers and back box, before introducing me to Mark, who has then gone above and beyond to help me to get these fitted, around my busy schedule.
10/10 for every aspect of this experience so far, and a massive thank you to Brendan and Mark for making this experience first class!

Purchased a used non BMW from Dan at Wollaston, despite buying a Fiat and not a BMW, we were treated as though we were buying a top of the range BMW!
Patient, non pushy sales team, who couldn't do enough to answer our every question, and went above and beyond in sending through information that we asked for, multiple test drives arranged without a problem by Dan, he even went the extra mile and personally buffed out a minor paint defect before we picked up the car.

I recently purchased a new car for my wife where I was looked after by Mark French who I must say did a fantastic job. We looked at the same vehicle from a few dealers but ended up working with Mark because He did a lovely walkaround video of the vehicle which my wife loved, this was something the other dealers didn't do. Very professional company with a great setup. On arrival you will be greeted politely and with a smile. You can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee in the luxury waiting area while waiting to be delivered with. Staff are all very polite and ready to help with any enquiries. Prices for work on your car are not cheap but it is a main dealership and you must expect to pay more.

I’ve always been really happy with the service division compared to Sytner Leicester so was prepared to make the effort to travel. However on selling my BMW I was told the last service was not logged online although the service book was stamped. This then caused problems. So I was very disappointed. After deciding I wanted to swap my car for a bmw, I eventually spoke to Roger and wish I'd done so sooner. He was extremely helpful and accommodating and held the car whilst I made the 40 minute trip to the garage.
On arrival, everyone made me feel welcome and I've never been offer so many cups of tea. Roger showed me the car and whilst looking it felt like a mate showing off his new car the way he spoke about it.
After a quick test drive, there was no pushy sale and Roger was so laid back whilst completing the paperwork. The sales team continued with their endless offers off tea over over the next hour.
Over the next week, Roger got everything finalised that handover was not only smooth but extremely quick.

Just like the rest of the world there are human beings working here and like human beings they make mistakes and forget things.
My 4 year old mini was recently in for its service and MOT. Mistake for me was i didn't check the price upfront, make sure you check the price.
I reported an issue that i reported last year about white fluff/mold looking stuff on the inside of my soft top roof and could they look at it again and clean it with the complimentary wash and vacuum. This was completely forgotten and is still on the inside of my roof.
The complementary wash and vac was also pretty bad, when i got home i noticed there were soap marks all over the car including the windows. When it was first driven to me it looked great on first impression, but it was a very poor cleaning.
When i bought my car 4 years ago the sales staff were very nice, and the staff now were also fine.

Brake pad service carried out. Told that discs would also need to be replaced which I queried. Spoke to technician in the workshop, re-measured and it was clear that need for new discs was borderline. Good to get an honest assessment but if I hadn't queried this there would have been an extra £300 to pay for very little gain. Just over 2 hours wait for job completion. Car cleaned inside, and outside washed exceptionally well.

Having never purchased a new bike before it was safe to say I really didn’t know what I wanted! My current bike was a GS 1200 which I love dearly but I was intrigued by the RT1250 as I do lots of mileage, I was given a 24 hour test ride to really experience the bike although it was fantastic it quickly made me realise I wasn’t ready to leave the GS, Brendan made the process as simple as it could be even when working from home due to an injury. I settled on a 1250 GSA and the service from Wollaston is simply above and beyond what you’d expect. Thank you Grant Drage for helping me find my 320d xDrive and for being super easy and relaxed to deal with. Grant found the car I had been looking for and managed to bring it over from another dealer with no hassle at all. I enquired on the Thursday afternoon and drove away on the Saturday morning in the car. It's by no means the most expensive BMW ever sold so the fact that Grant kept it inside for me so that it didn't get dirty overnight, and sent me a nice video of it once he'd got it inside, meant a lot. Just bought a new BMW X1, lovely car, Nicole Rowland did our sale and have to say for a young girl she was a great sales person. Nicole saved the sale as had a few problems initially, very helpful, new all about the car as to working all the new equipment on it and very patient with two older people who are not techno savvy. I suffer with tinnitus and cars are a big problem for me regarding road noise and gear box noise, she was very understanding and made sure everything was OK for me before purchase. I have visited Wollaston BMW for various services since posting the below review over three years ago. The result is always the same...I leave highly satisfied. Today I was in for the car's first major service. Every part of the process from booking the service, reception, waiting, status updates and checking out at the end is always a joy and today was no exception. Every person I came in contact with (Sapphire, Finn and Emily) was obviously trained in extraordinary customer care. They were all patient, respectful, efficient and very pleasant. Finn (the technician who performed the work) to the time to personally talk me through one of the issues I had mentioned at reception. He genuinely cared about understanding any issues I was having and resolving them in one visit. I couldn't be happier with the entire Service Department at Wollaston BMW. I know BMW can be a bit more expensive than a local garage, but the treatment I receive and my confidence in receiving genuine BMW spares and services performed factory-trained technicians who genuinely care about what they do makes Wollaston BMW Service a very high value that's well worth the money.
I just purchased a 630d. I love the car and I am highly impressed by the way the staff treated me. I spec-ordered the car so it has been several weeks since I first walked into the Wollaston Centre. My "Product Specialist" was Richard Rhodes who has the patience of a saint. He answered dozens (maybe hundreds) of questions and priced several different configurations for me, all with great competence and a smile. I suspect there were at least 100 emails between us since I met him in April. I purchased my last two BWMs at other centres. Wollaston is a little further from my home and work, but it's worth the extra time to get this level of customer service.

I was lucky enough to buy my first car from Wollaston BMW last week and I have to say, this an excellent experience from start to finish.
I initially sent an inquiry email in the evening of the 17th May relating to an offer on a 640d Gran Coupe. The following morning, I had a call from Simon Richardson detailing more of the offers Wollaston had on the 6 series.
I arranged a visit on the 22nd where Simon detailed the car to me. We explored the suitability of the car and both decided it wasn't suitable for my activities with group cycling and kayaks!
Simon suggested a trip to see a car that would meet all of my needs and without hesitation, took me to see an X5 - the rest is history and a week later, I was driving away in the car. This is a real reflection on his ability to match my needs and budget to what was in stock.
I hope this will be the start of a long relationship with Wollaston.

Grant offered an extended test drive on an M car that I was particularly interested in whereas most dealers would only let you up and down the road. He accommodated me on late notice as the showroom was due to close. He was always prompt with any queries I had about the vehicle and was more than honest and pleasant in every aspect. The car itself was highly prepped to a showroom standard unlike other dealers.

Great service, bike returned to me fully washed and cleaned. Friendly staff. Lose one star because you need to buy a proper espresso machine and employ a barista and get back to having an authentic biker coffee shop. It would make waiting for your bike service so much more fun, and you'd make loads of money because you'd attract non bikers too if you did it well.

Grant was the unfortunate one that took my initial call and coped with the gibberish as I just couldn't get my thoughts/words out. I had a very specific car in mind, IF a 5 series was the right choice over a 3 series. He helped with arranging a quick test drive and tried to get the car secured from their sister dealership.
Unfortunately the car ended up being sold by the dealership it was sat with and the hunt ensued to find a car that ticked all the boxes. A couple of days later Grant called, another dealership group had agreed to trade a car with them and the deal was done.
Grant's efforts didn't stop there. He knew that the car was a replacement for one that had been written off and the hire car had to go back. He and the guys at the prep centre pulled out all the stops to turn the car around and have it ready for me as soon as possible.
When I picked it up the car was immaculate and every I wanted. Grant did an amazing job of sourcing the car and getting it all ready in a mega tight timeframe and Jase was really supportive with getting the right deal for me and making the paperwork as painless as possible.

Tom at used cars is amazing. Always a great guy to speak to. Went in purely just looking at a car to replace my 307. Ended up falling in love with a 2019 118I M Sport. Took me for a test drive, shown me round the car and paperwork and about 3 days later, I left with the car. Truly great experience for my first time buying such a car. Bodyshop (especially Mark) are just as good. Always keep me informed with news and updates and always ensure my car is up to standards when complete.
Service department needs a little more people skills. I always get the impression I’m one of them customers they see walking in and want to avoid. Told me there was a fault with the alarm like I thought; then told me the LED didn’t work also (it did). turns out there was no such fault and it was just the positioning of the sensors and my misjudgment. They also told me the car didn’t need it’s first service, only for a matter of weeks to pass before the car ran out of engine oil and I had to buy some more. The Idrive system even said it didn’t need a service for another 2000 miles.. where’s the oil gone? Also requested 2 call backs to save me going in, never happened. The actual technicians are great and the videos they do when doing the health checks etc are great.
Reception staff now know me by face / name / car and know I’m normally there for bodyshop... not sure if it’s good or not but hey ho.

Not only a fantastic Garage, our sales man Mr Drage was exceptional from the initial enquiry to Handover, done exactly what we asked of him and went beyond the call of duty. Recently completed the purchase of a 6 month old 4 series GC, and the customer service lived up to expectation of a premium brand. Roger was excellent throughout, and couldn't more more helpful. The car needed to be returned for a couple of niggles after 2 weeks, yet this was evidently no problem and were happy to ensure all aspects were perfected for me. This should be a given, but where so many businesses in this day and age, deem it as hassle or make you feel uncomfortable about challenging a quality of service; this is not the case with Wollaston. I managed to commit to buy a car on a Thursday and collect on a Saturday without even having to step through the door of the BMW garage. I recently ordered my new BMW 320 GT MSport through Wollaston BMW. As this was a company car I had a couple of garages recommended to contact for assistance with choosing a car.
Initially, I went to the 'local' BMW garage (as it was convenient) to find that I was given brochures and completely left alone by the corporate manager to 'have a look'. I felt like I wasn't a valued customer or future customer.
I was then put in contact to Ross Kilroy from Wollaston who was genuinely so happy to help. We spoke on the phone a couple of times and he sent me through some drawn up specs via email. We then agreed a day to come and test drive a very similar model. Ross was so very helpful throughout the process and a really nice chap.
When I ordered the car through my fleet team, I had advised of my positive experience with Ross and negative with the other dealership. Fortunately the order was placed through Ross. An initial lead time of 14 weeks was advised as per guidelines but a 9 week build was actually allocated which was amazing!
A few weeks later I got a call to advise some really good news that the car was going to come even earlier giving a 7 week build from start to finish, Ross was even kind enough to let me pick the car up earlier due to my temp car costing me so much in fuel!
On the day of pick up, Ross advised me that the car hadn't actually come in until late the night before but was adamant that he wanted to make sure I had it that morning and the technicians produced a record turnaround meaning I was able to drive away that morning still.
I cannot describe how happy I am with the service I received and I will certainly be recommending Ross and the team to anybody looking for a new car.

I just wanted to post a quick review to say how impressed I am with Wollaston BMW and particularly Simon Richardson who dealt with our purchase. This is my first experience of BMW and I can see why it has such a solid reputation. We had driven from Lincolnshire to view a specific car and it’s just worth saying here that it’s worth phoning ahead if you are after a specific vehicle as we nearly lost the car we wanted! They will mark the car on the system to show someone is interested so it can’t be sold in the meantime but no obligation to purchase if you decide you don’t want it (will remember that for next time).
Simon was very professional and friendly and we didn’t feel hurried or pressured in the slightest. We went on a proper test drive and took it onto the nearby duel carriage way. Although it was a very busy Saturday with a sale weekend on he gave us his full attention all the time, including two very nice cups of tea (in proper cups!). There was real friendly feel to the dealership with plenty of banter with the other staff and customers.
Simon also rescheduled, on very short notice, collection of the car to three days ahead of the agreed time which helped us out no end. Big thank you to Simon and the rest of the team, we will definitely be coming back when the car is due for a change. All the best Dave and Claire

First car I have ever bought without seeing it! Great service from Grant Drage from first contact to picking up my car. I approached Wollaston as they had a car on the BMW used car site that was in prep but sounded like what I was looking for. Grant went out of his way to help including sending me a video of the seats to show they tilted as I needed and some pictures of the car in prep.
Grant followed up with me when he said he would and covered all the points needed. Car was in prep for a week which wasn't a problem and when I picked the car up it looked great. Handover took 35 minutes and 5 of those was me looking at the bikes :)
The car itself is in great condition and for perspective, this was a £14000 vehicle. Amazing service at that price and significantly better that I experienced spending 4 times as much previously on another brand.

My welcome was friendly and warm, I was greeted by a salesman called George who offered me and my partner a coffee straight away.
We sat down and he asked me what he could do for me. I explained that I came into Wollaston with the intention of test driving a car to order one through my company car scheme, he explained that my company allowance was generous enough to warrant a personal purchase, meaning one day I could own the car and swap it every 3 to 4 years, so I decided to listen up.
Well 45 minutes later he had me test driven and signed up! I cannot fault his service because he was so quick and efficient. I emailed him one evening at 9:20pm to ask whether or not my car had parking sensors (it did) and he replied in minutes. I would strongly recommend him and will definitely be back for my next car!

Had an engine management light issue with my 5 series which another dealer could not quite pinpoint, didn't feel confident taking it back there, so rang Wollaston and they said they would investigate the problem. I usually avoid dealing with a dealership at all costs but I found a car I liked online and decided to get in touch and prepare myself for the pressure selling and constant following which I’ve experienced before. I was put in contact with Dan Curtis first on the phone who was straight to the point no messing about and seemed a sound guy! Follow up was detailed and not pushy but I ended up buying from another franchise in Milton Keynes as the deal was better.

Good product here, they are BMW cars obviously. But staff turnover is huge, customer service very average all things considered, but considering the high-value product they are selling the service is particularly poor. Ordered car which turned up very late, staff very unsympathetic, received very little compensation. Such a shame. I waited 20 years to be able to afford my first new BMW, and when the experience came, it was so much less than that which i expected. SECOND REVIEW: Having had a bad experience previously with sales, I took the car in for its first service not expecting too much, but service was outstanding. I was offered lunch and coffee, customer service advisor Tayla did a brilliant job of making sure everything ran smoothly, service was very quick and polite, really professional. The whole recall thing for the 3 series (E9x models) is getting a bit ridiculous... I had mine booked early July for the end of August. Called them a few days before to confirm my appointment and they said they have the parts. Took the car to them in the morning (8 am) only to find out that they still don't have any parts - they even claimed to have tried to contact me the day before which is not true. I was offered to be rebooked & contacted when the parts arrive. Still haven't heard anything!!!
Update: After my review - literally the next morning they did manage to contact me (wonder how they couldn't before in the first place) and said my car is booked for...now & asked me if I can drop it with them immediately. Luckily I was late shift at work so just drove to BMW. They promised my car will be ready for collection today. Now waiting - will update you later!
Update 2: My car was sorted in 3 hours - both recalls done. Fantastic service. They even washed my E92. Saying that...the bitter taste is still here. Can't believe it took them 4 months & I'm pretty sure they acted because of my review.

I recently purchased a BMW 430d xdrive Coupe from Simon Richardson at Wollaston BMW Northampton. I found the exact model I had been looking for & after emailing a query to Wollaston and then discussing my requirements with Simon I found the model I had been looking in the colour I was after at a really good price, I also recevied a good trade in value for my Honda CRV.
The level of customer service from Simon during my visits to the dealership along with the courtesy call to ensure I was happy with my new BMW was excellent all round. Simon arranged for the car to be available on the day agreed for the test drive & gave me plenty of time to discuss the car & features before taking it out for a test drive.
It was a pleasure to do business with Simon, I never felt the purchasing process was rushed in any way & he was more than happy to answer any number of queries I had during the buying process. He was extremely professional and friendly and made both myself and my wife feel very comfortable any at ease & ensured that the test drive and purchasing process went very smoothly.
On the day of the pickup the car was waiting in the showroom and everything was in order to allow a smooth completion of the purchase and transfer of ownership paperwork. Simon was very well organised & we found him to be very customer focused & keen to make sure that I was totally happy with my new purchase.
I also noticed whilst waiting in the customer waiting area that the staff at the dealership were both friendly and courteous to their customers & dealership has a smart modern layout to match.
He mentioned that my new BMW would bring a big smile to my face each day I drive it... (he was right it's a great car and I am very happy with my new BMW purchase). I will almost certainly be looking get in touch with Simon again when looking for my next BMW from Wollaston Northampton.

I have had both good and bad experiences with this dealership. The most recent (on a safety recall) was excellent because I was dealt with quickly and sent a short safety video check up on my car which I felt was a great value add - but the previous visits, both for issues with the car covered by my warranty were misdiagnosed and the wrong thing fixed, this was ultimately diagnosed by a local garage.

I have never met a guy who goes above and beyond his job to make sure his customers leave with no worries and a stress free purchase. Simon even came in on his day off to make sure we left the garage with the car, with my cherished plate on it and by the agreed time as we had to drive back to Scotland after we got the car. I have purchased many cars in my time. I have had to endure the nonsense and high pressure sales talk, which frankly ruins the whole experience. Well not at Wollaston Northampton with the latest purchase that we have made. My wife and I went their having travelled from Leicester, yes there were closer dealers, but most mainstream dealers make me edgy within 10 minutes of being there. I made a call, enquiring about a particular car that we wanted (BMW X3). We were put through to Simon Richardson. I told him we were on our way and gave him an estimated time of arrival. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly front receptionist who guided us to Simon who was waiting for us, ensuring that he was free for our appointment as arranged. Drinks offered by the receptionist and by Simon. We requested a test drive and our demands were immediately met. We loved the car. The test drive was a delightful experience. Simon subtly sat in the rear, leaving my wife and I to enjoy the test drive. Simon took us to some great roads upon my request. Okay it was going well. This was a lot of money we were spending, we had pushed the boat out. I almost got carried away and went further. Simon showed me other variables, higher costing vehicles, but interestingly did not pressure us into committing beyond our requirements. We were cash buyers and as such were never once pressurised into a finance deal. He had listened and gave us exactly what we wanted, so rare. We left a deposit and had excellent communications from him to the point of collection, which enabled us to have a superb overall experience on the day. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase. 02/10/17 Received my vehicle back on the 29th after 1 week at BMW, and £3300 later, only to find that the one main fault notification "drive train error" still comes on.
I am hoping to return the vehicle on Tuesday for further investgation.

I walked into Wollastons Saturday 27th with my friend to see the i3.
We had just visited Guy Salmon Range Rover & jaguar as I was thinking of changing my car after realising I had clocked 65,000 miles - however I was discussing with my friend how it would be lovely to walk into a show room not be pounced on or totally ignored by sales staff and be offered a test drive without feeling you were wasting peoples time which was how we felt from the previous garages we visited.
Anyway we were approached by Simon Richardson who was offered his assistance we test drove the i3 and was shown the X5 and again given a test drive even though I said it would be 2 months away -I was very impressed by the profession manor in which we were treated but also friendly without any pressure in fact he gave us so much time and offered such a good deal I do wonder if I would have bought any car.
I subsequently ordered and picked up my new car to which I can say I am very impressed with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend friends and family to Simon -so well done Simon who also answered my calls on week ends and out of hours..

On the 4th of September 2019 I took my car there for a service recall. Everything went fine, the staff was amazing and I was really happy with the whole experience. Fast forward 3 weeks and I got a low coolant level warning light. I opened up the hood and I saw the coolant cap was upside down next to the inlet and there were signs of semi-dried out blue liquid around the inlet. I phoned them and the reply was that they didn't work around the engine. The car was there for the whole day, they did 3 service recalls and they even send me a video of all around the car showing the thread condition of my tyres, the various bumps and scuffs, but no one actually opened the hood to check the coolant level and it was left open from my service 3 months ago. Anyway, knowing that there was no way to prove anything, I asked about the coolant, where I can get it, and if there is an alternative. The only option was to buy it from them in person (they couldn't send it out) and they couldn't offer an alternative. Being 1 hour away makes it impossible for me to go all the way there (with low coolant level) just to pickup a bottle. 3 stars from the 7 stars I wanted to give them 3 weeks ago.
