I live over 6 hours from their garage but they did everything they could to make the remote process of buying as simple and professional as possible.
Once I had found the car I wanted I hounded them will all sorts of enquiries about the car and asked for videos of the underside amongst other things. Their response?….a detailed video call at my convenience to give me a live video tour of every aspect of the car. Any request I made was met with a can do attitude and I was not disappointed.
Once I had made a long 8 hour journey down the car was spotless, sat on the forecourt read to go for a test drive. All of its service history was ready to view and they could not have been happy to field any further questions I had. I was met with a very upbeat Robin, who made the buying process on the day a doddle.
The car itself was in superb condition and had been kept in the garage over the weekend after being fully valeted.
I would not hesitate to buy another car from theses guys although I feel my Landcruiser may be going for a while yet.

When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome from Robin, and the hospitality continued as I inspected and test drove several cars.
I thought of myself as a difficult customer as I struggled to make a decision between 3 cars. As this went on for 4 and a bit hours, you would think that the dealer would begin to push you to make a decision. Instead, Robin was there to answer all of the questions I had, and being generally helpful. He said "Take all the time you need, this is an important decision." And "The way I see it, if I sell you a car that you're not happy with, it's my fault." That's some ownership you don't see often.
Eventually I got to the car that I wanted and we signed paperwork over a coffee. I have to say, it was an incredibly relaxed atmosphere without the bs. Nobody is trying to trick, corner or pressure you into buying what they want you to buy (had a few of those before). A humble and trustworthy establishment to which I will send anyone who needs to buy a car.
E. G.Really positive experience buying a car from Roys. I enquired about a low mileage Ford Fiesta via email and had a response from Robin within 10 minutes. I went to view it the next day and felt very relaxed the whole time. Robin put no pressure on me to buy the car after I test drove it and gave me a great deal on it. Everyone there was friendly, knowledgeable and very communicative. Turn around was quick and they even provided a uh.. characterful courtesy Yaris free of charge.
The bill came out lower than quoted which was a brilliant surprise. Overall a very positive experience and would recommend them to anyone with a Lexus/Toyota.

I have just taken delivery of a Lexus LS400 which I purchased unseen from Roys motor company, Norwich.
It is a modern classic car 24 yrs old and Robin gave me a lot of his time over the phone and email describing the car in detail including small faults. We did a deal which left both parties satisfied and delivery was arranged to me in Somerset. Robin put a full MOT on the car and filled it up with petrol, he even sent his personal copy of an original LS400 brochure.
Upon delivery the car is even better than described and I look forward to ownership.
Just a shame that due to distance Roys cannot service and maintain the car in the future!
