Great place to buy a car. Bought a fiat 500l mpw 3 weeks ago, travelled from plymouth to purchase it. Car is great, it did have a few teething issues but every time I phoned the dealership they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely amazing customer service from Pep. Car is perfect and came with a full mot, serviced, absolutely everything done that was needed and the reassurance that if any problems we could get them sorted locally and SM would cover the cost as we are from some distance away. Very very happy customers and will be back .

I bought my new car from S M Autos a couple of months ago. From the start they have been very professional, courteous and friendly. After negotiating a trade-in, I was overjoyed with my new car which has been flawless up until this week. The battery failed and I could not start the car. I'm sure this is a common fault with cars nowadays. Although this was an inconvenience to me at the time, the team at S M Autos resolved the matter without delay and my car was up and running as quickly as possible. I have dealt with many 2nd hand car dealers in the past but I have never had service like this before. I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I brought a Ford KA from SM cars and was astounded by the high quality of the car on pick up and when I took it for a test drive everything went smoothly . Then I got home and noticed that the Bluetooth connection base was not working, and immediately we got back into contact with SM cars who were so helpful in providing us with advice on what we should do to rectify this situation. In the end after local checks from their garage it became apparent that this was a Ford job likely to be quite costly . The owner was happy to support the process as much as possible and payments where made super quickly to rectify this problem . Although a problem was encountered early on SM cars had no issues whatsoever in helping to get to the route of the problem and responding to questions professionally and promptly . I am glad we have now got somewhere and my car is fully functioning. A great car dealership who when encounter issues with there products are happy and professional in getting them sorted and putting the customers first . Would greatly recommend SM Cars to any customers

Brilliant company to deal with. Can't recommend highly enough. They have the brilliant idea of allowing you to have the car of your choice on 14 days approval. The car is delivered to you and if you decide it's not for you they will collect it....excellent idea and ensures the safety of everyone concerned. We purchased a Peugeot which was delivered to us promptly, sanitised and cleaned throughout. We decided quite quickly it was the car for us. We queried whether a new timing belt should be fitted and they agreed to do this free of charge. The car was collected from our drive - work carried out and delivered back to our drive the next day! Sul looked after us throughout, he was extremely courteous, helpful and completely honest which is just what you need when investing in a new vehicle. There was no pressure selling at all, we were allowed to make our own decision which was refreshing. In conclusion, in these difficult times SM Cars go above and beyond to ensure the safety and satisfaction of buyers. The fact that you do not have to visit the car lot or put yourself at risk, and are able to have a vehicle on approval - delivered to your home - is just unique. We will definitely recommend SM Cars to family and friends and will use them again as and when the time comes.

Can not fault the service of these guys. I bought a car from them that was fine when I bought it, but a week later it’s started to play up, the guys at SM cars gave me lots of advice regarding the warranty and such, but unfortunately the warranty didn’t cover the particular faults on the car, so SM cars offered to pay for the repair by Peugeot themselves. I declined their kind offer and instead we found a suitable compromise to swap the car for another that they had. They brought the car to my house and did the swap then and there, and they took the faulty car back to their dealership. I’ve never heard of such understanding and helpful guys when it comes to cars and their issues. I would 100% recommend buying from these guys and will definitely be using them in the future! I was planning to buy a car from them and had even paid a deposit when I realised I had made a mistake with the specification on the car. Bought a nice Mondeo Estate this week and had great service from the guys. Not pushy like other garages but really helpful when you're ready to ask questions. Had a small problem with the EML coming on a couple of days later but took it in to their garage and it turned out to be a split hose which they happily fixed no fuss. Will definitely recommend them to others and look there first if a change of car is ever needed in the future.

Bought a great mondeo a few weeks ago, was due a cam belt change and this was done before purchase. Then after a couple of weeks noticed something not right, they got a health check done and front brake discs needed replacing. This was done as part of the warranty and no problems at all. I had to buy a car as a taxi, and when i took it to its taxi test, they confirmed it was a good buy, taxi tests are much different to an mot. more on the sellers. I never once felt like i was being pushed into buying the car, he just let me get on with my own choices, i took it for a test drive, but brought it back and it was smoking. however it turned out it was because it was sat for a week, my mechanic told me diesels do that, so i have not one bad word to say about this dealer. I will certainly be going back when i need another. So thank you sm cars for not once being pushy. that says a lot about a seller!!! well it does for me!
