I was greeted by reception, who directed me in the right direction and was greeted by another person who told me what I had to do as I had already registered and completed the online check in form for my booked in service. After leaving the keys in a locker box and completing a few questions, I was introduced to the very helpful lady, Carly Beaver, who was organising & dealing with my service.
She gave me approximate time windows when it would be ready & how she would be in touch.
Overall, although it was a long wait as I booked in @ 8am & my car was ready at about 5pm, I was very happy with the service provided. They send you a video of the inspection and ask if you want to go ahead & authorise the work they recommend and how much the cost will be. 5* service.

Recently had my BMW M series 2 serviced. Left car with dealership first thing, and received an update prior to collection in which cost and service details disclosed fully, so I knew what to expect. I like the team effort at this dealership with a highly personable individual looking after the service process making it all seamless. Latest technology used so you can book your car in via a touchscreen and you key is placed in a secure box. All in all, a very professional set up and what I’ve come to expect from BMW.

Excellent service. My MOT had been booked as an all day slot, but Colin at BMW North Oxford Garage managed to get my MOT done by 10:30 am to allow me to attend to my errands in the afternoon. The fuel flap on my car got jammed this morning. A tiny mechanical problem, but a huge problem for us as we were setting off on holiday. Not being able to charge the car would wreck our holiday plans. I visited North Oxford BMW at 9.00, saw a service engineer, Roger, at 9.03 and he fixed the problem by 9.05. Now we are off on holiday. The usual very polished experience that you'd expect although very much on a budget these days. Machine coffee and no pastries. No obvious area to work for the day other than the regular lounge.
Workshop charges a lot as you'd expect, but there are a good number of loan cars. Twice I've had work not finished properly and car left in a dangerous condition after a service hence low rating.

Having been a customer since 2008 through my wife's Mini and since 2014 as a BMW driver, I cannot praise the Service team highly enough across both the Mini and BMW operations.
They are always incredibly friendly and helpful, regardless of whether you are a business or private customer. You feel like a long lost friend walking in as you are greeted by a familiar face amongst the team.
Both the Mini site at Long Hanborough and BMW site at Wolvercote are perfect if you have to work whilst your vehicle undergoes its "pampering". It's difficult not to be impressed by the overall layout and attention to detail.
Although main dealer pricing can sometimes feel pricey, I at least know I am in safe hands and will (almost) always get a first time fix (only time they didn't was a specific design issue, so hardly their fault!).

I called North Oxford BMW Motorrad to enquire about the BMW CE 04 electric scooter and spoke to Elektra she was very knowlegable about the bike and said they had one on demo and it was available for test ride, I asked when it was available and booked in for a few days later. A few days later I rode to North Oxford BMW where I was met by Elektra where we did the necessary paperwork then went out to the scooter and explained how it all worked inc the regen braking system. The scooter was fully charged so off I went. I found it a little strange at first because it's got a long wheel base but after a few roundabouts I gained confidence. The regeneration braking was awesome just like engine braking. The bike was very quick off the mark and reached the 70mph speed limit where permitted with ease. I did 56 miles on the scooter and enjoyed every second my only critisms were the seat on that particular version and it only had 6 miles left when I returned . I gave feedback when I returned saying if it had better range (I didn't ride it for economy just to see its rideability factor, I'm sure using it economically would give more range) I would probably order one but with a comfortable seat. It was a good day and I'm glad I experienced the CE04 and a special thanks to Elektra for a smooth and uncomplicated test ride it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot . Thank You.

Rozeena has taken care of my service needs since I changed from another dealership due to be let down, all communication and work carried out in the most professional manner, such a pleasure to be a customer of hers and the dealership.

Booked my X5 in for a service and was very pleased with the professional and courteous service I received from James Kaye. Very knowledgeable about the work that was to be carried out.
The garage set-up allowed me to wait for my service to be carried out and able to continue to work remotely with access to free WiFi and coffee.
I would like to thank the team who worked on my car and those who returned it looking like new after a free valet.

What can I say apart from excellent! I finally picked up my new car today and it is amazing. Love it so much and cannot thank enough Lucy Johnson (Motability). She was so understanding, helpful and knew my needs very well. Never had any negative visits or communications and my car was ready, prepared and immaculate when I picked it up. We've had issues with North Oxford BMW in the past, however my last two services on two different vehicles has been amazing. North Oxford BMW went the extra mile in offering the best service.
We got a call a day before the service just to remind us of the service and that they will collect the vehicle. This was something that helped us a lot as we were going through some difficult time. Jacob collected the vehicle on time and not a minute late. Rozeena kept us well informed of the service and the vehicle was returned on time again by Jacob, washed and cleaned.

One of the reasons it's such a strong team is that they Adam as the Service Manager.

I wouldn't usually consider visiting a BMW garage to get my car serviced, but I wanted the experts to check it this time while it was in for a recall. My 13-year old BMW 1 series was acting up, the guys in the garage managed to locate the fault easily (EGR valve stuck open) and identified a slack timing chain - both faults were flagged with BMW and they managed to get BMW to pay the majority on goodwill. Absolutely amazing (probably incredibly lucky), I am happy to know that the car is in really good shape again thanks to them. Would definitely consider going back for peace of mind.

Had a really great warranty experience with the BMW motorcycle part of this dealership. They got my bike in quickly, had it repaired and back on the road within hours. And it was all cleaned up too. They did a collect and return service on it which was flexible and on time. I will definitely be using them in future. Cannnot say much for the car side of the business but the whole dealership looks good with plenty of people coming and going which can only mean they are doing the right thing!
Update 2016: recently went back and got a good trade in and price for a preregistered bike. The sales guy didn't quite know how to operate the alarm which was initially worrying but bike was ready at the right time. Having read some of the negative reviews for this garage as well as having a bad experience at Doncaster BMW, my wife and I lost faith with the main dealers. Nevertheless, we needed a car and so we ventured down to north oxford garage.
Our sales consultant, Darren Cole, surprised us with his exemplary customer service. We were greeted as soon as we parked up and within minutes we were test driving the car. Darren was able to answer all our queries and did not pressure us into putting down a deposit. We even told him that we were also going to see a tiguan and he insisted we "get it out of our system" lol.

I went into BMW North Oxford with a dying 2013 320i with a bunch of diagnosed inherited problems.
Usually from that opening you would hear a horror story but the team at North Oxford have helped me understand every step they had to take in getting this car back on the road. They are communicative, efficient, conscientious and clearly experts in their field.
I dealt directly with Jamie Herbert who was fantastic and I was also able to speak directly to Dan who performed the major heart surgery on this motor!
Even though it was one issue after another and the money piled up i didn't feel for one second that they were trying to pull a fast one. Jamie and his Service Manager Alistair sat with me well after 6pm on a Thursday to go through every option I had available. They even stuck me in a loan car so I didn't miss a meeting for the two weeks it was in there.
Already got my 1 year service and MOT pencilled in for next year and the car is singing up and down the A34 again! 10/10 would use again!

This dealership is very nice place to visit. There are excellent waiting areas, excellent coffee and wifi while you wait for a service. In fact I sometimes call by just for a coffee and a walk around the cars.
Car sales staff are not at all pushy and let you look around quietly. They are knowledgeable when asked questions about the cars and deals.
I have a BMW administrated warranty on my older BMW. I have never had any claims on my car rejected or been required to pay for components that may not strictly be covered if they need to be replaced as part of a bigger job,
The only down side I have to mention is that some jobs can take a very long time to complete and service staff can be very hard to get hold of for progress reports. However all of the delays I have had are mostly due to BMW themselves and not the dealership.

So my experience is not that of sales etc, but couldn't be happier.
Last week I was passing by the dealership on my biker while traveling to Wales from London to visit friends. As I left London I started to get a really bad squeal when braking (from the front brakes) and would shudder when braking hard. Seeing the garage I stopped in and sheepishly asked if there was someone who could take a look as I had close to no tools with me, all the mechanics were busy but one of the area managers was there who was a biker and bit of a mechanic so offered to take a look (didn't care it was a Honda and not a BMW). He had a look at the bike, said it may be something on the discs so took my bike round the back and spent a few minutes checking the discs and pads, then went about de-greasing, cleaning, and drying my brakes.
When I tried to give him some cash he refused saying it was just a few minutes and he was happy to help a fellow biker.
I cant comment on anything other than this single experience but all I know is that they helped me make my journey safer and could not be happier with the help they offered.

I accidentlly overfilled the engine oil in my BMW M3. I passed BMW Oxford on my way back to London and asked if they could have a quick look at it, as I was confused on the max oil sign, showing that I overfilled the engine oil majorly, but I knew I didn't. Went their and straightaway a very friendly guy from the revive department had a look at the car and said, calmed me down and said it was fine as long as it was just a little bit. Spent at least 10 minutes with me and was very knowledgeable of M cars. Drove home and the engine oil was on max again like he predicted so I was very impressed !! Thanks again

Not a good experience. Took my car in for a software update on the idrive system so I could upload new maps. BMW failed to tell me there was a risk of the update failing despite knowing. 1st attempt didn't work so they tried a second time and crashed the whole system. I then get a phone call saying. The tech said this happens sometimes we will just reset the system by disconnecting the battery. This also fails so the car now has no infotainment system. I then get a estimate for nearly £2000 to put it right even though I did not authorise the update without all the information given to me. Now refusing to cover full cost of repair saying bmw will supply the part and I have to pay the labour. After taking to trading standards they have assured me that bmw have to cover the whole cost but north oxford are still refusing. They started dealing with the problem well but now it's been 3 weeks and they are refusing to do anymore and I had to ring them 4 times yesterday to get through to the service manager. The matter will be going further.
Situation now been resolved thanks to phil for stepping in and sorting out.

We received such a great service when recently purchasing a new car at BMW North Oxford. We initially received an email from Gideon Hedley, the new Sales Manager at North Oxford. This email was hugely effective in planting the seed in terms of exploring the option of purchasing a new car. Subsequent to receiving the email I telephoned the dealership and spoke with Gideon who was warm, welcoming and open to exploring solutions to help us in our quest for a new car. He encouraged us to visit the dealership, we booked an appointment for that same morning and on arrival we were personally greeted and passed to Stuart Beveridge who spent time talking us through various options available.
Stuart was excellent, he presented a myriad of options and worked really hard to find a solution that would meet our financial objectives. Despite that our meeting at point of sale took a couple of hours, Stuart was incredibly patient. On leaving the dealership we received a personalised video, with a further ‘sneak peak’ video which 24 hours before collection of the new car, further adding to the anticipation and excitement. The entire process had a lovely personal touch with great communication and customer service throughout.

Received letter from BMW advising of vehicle safety recall in respect of EGR cooler and was able to book in prompty. My car had none of the symptoms mentioned, but the garage was able to confirm within 2 hours all was fine. They also carried out a free of charge vehicle health check and that too was very good. The performance of North Oxford Garage, and Jenna Hughes in particular, matched the performance of my 219d Sport Coupe; the best car I've ever driven and owned. All comes highly recommended by me. After being given the run around by a local tyre dealer for an hour I decided to give your branch a call, and what a great move that was !!! I've used North Oxford Garage to service a number of cars over the years and have always been satisfied, but not wowed by their service. Having recently had my wife's M140i serviced at North Oxford Garage I thought I should now leave a review as I was very impressed.
All the way from booking the appointment, to dropping the car off, receiving the video health check and the feedback from Adam the Service Advisor, the communication has been excellent. The problems I reported were dealt with under warranty on the day of the service where possible and one small issue where the parts were unavailable was promptly rebooked and fixed.
I understand that the management in the Aftersales department has recently changed and the difference certainly shows. Keep up the good work!

I purchased my 430d Grand Coupe X-Drive M-Sport from here in 2015. I got a great deal on a pre-registered car - they has lots of cars in stock, so always worth checking if you want a great bargain.
In May 2019 my car developed an issue @80K miles, which I suspected was the EGR cooler. There is a BMW recall on this, but my car was too new for the recall by 2 months. I spoke to BMW directly, and got nowhere. So, I had the car booked in with a trusted independent garage, who quoted me £800 for the work; but there was no guarantee the EGR cooler was at fault and the part was on back order with the manufacturer with no delivery date available. By this point, I'd been off the road for a week. I contacted Northampton BMW (as I drive past hem each day on the way to work) to see if they could follow the recall check (which I was happy to pay for); and was quoted £177 per hour for a general diagnosis check and they wanted at least an hour for the work. All I wanted to know was, was the EGR cooler at fault and therefore it was worth waiting the several weeks for the part to arrive... I was without a car as it was not drive-able for long distances.
My wife made me call North Oxford for a 3rd opinion (they re in the opposite direction from where I work, so it's inconvenient to get there). I'm so glad I did. I spoke to Jamie who immediately reassured me. He offered to book the car in as an emergency and run the recall check to see if the EGR cooler was at fault. He quoted me £99 for the check; but assured me he would do all in his power to make sure I didn't have to pay a penny.
Long story short; they checked the car the next working day and found the EGR cooler was 'really knackered' and the EGR was clogged. He then put a claim in to BMW based on the recall even though my car was outside the dates. BMW agreed to pay 100% of the costs; and best of all; supplied a hire car for over a week while the back order EGR cooler was delivered. As the EGR was also replaced; Jamie saved me in the order of £1,200 and kept me on the road with the BMW hire car he negotiated.
I cannot fault the original sales team, or after sales service I've had; and Jamie certainly showed the influence that a caring main dealer can have on BMW if you have a valid case for concern.

After suffering a loss of power on my car on my way to work yesterday morning with my car going into limp mode on the M40 I managed to make it to Oxford BMW where I was fortunate to be introduced to Jenna Hughes. Jenna gave me an absolutely platinum level of service. She managed to get my car into the workshop and have the problem diagnosed more or less immediately. She went out of her way to help me and get my car fixed and back on the road in the shortest time possible. She was very clear in regards to the works that needed carrying out and didn’t do anything without making sure I understood what was needed and what the options were. Overall a very high level of customer service.

High Class ideal garage for BMW. Staffs are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. There is a waiting area for free hot drinks, delicious biscuits and newspapers. The receptionist always ask you if you want tea or coffee and she will get it for you without fail. The Sale Team and Service Team are side by side. Of course lots of free parking spaces, the only BMW garage in Oxford and at skirt of city, reachable via A34 or end of Summertown.
Have my BMW 3series serviced here today 4 October 2018. Very satisfied, point of contact is Crag and he is new but very professional in all ways. I have a Vehicle Health Check thrown in for free. And i am very happy with the price i paid. Thumb up, BMW.
