Went here today with my family as one of my sons has just started looking for a new car and we wanted to look at some second hand Kias. We were shocked at the state of many of the cars in the car park facing the road and at the side of the showroom. To say that externally they were FILTHY is putting it mildly. Several were spattered with bird mess which looked like it had been there for a while. We went inside and the showroom itself had an odour of "bad drains". It was clean enough inside, but it wasn't a pleasant place to be due to the smell. The one positive about the experience was a friendly, helpful salesman. We asked to see a Kia Rio and one in the front car park was pointed out to us via the window. We went out to have a look only to find that this car too was festooned with layers of bird droppings. It was so disgusting we just turned around and left. I have tried to add a couple of photos to illustrate how bad the state of the cars were but don't know if they will show up. If my son does want to pursue getting a Kia he says he's going to look for a cleaner dealership.

If you are looking for a bargain with 7 years warranty where else you going to go. Picked up a car for a relative and they were very pleased with it. Reasonable sized choice and competitive finance rates. Staff were very friendly and not pushy. Whole process was easy and really simple. Look everyone has their favourite brands but you've got nothing to lose by having a look you might come away with a bargain.

Recently enquired on a used car with them and was dealing with Lee who was friendly. However felt rather pressured into making a decision as they said i didn’t decide then they would put the price up! And sure enough they have. I feel they could have done the deal I was hoping as it was very close to their asking price on a car which is not electric and not hybrid and certainly not a mass seller, plus they would make money on my present car that I would part exchange. The sales manager Simon also couldn’t be bothered to reply to my email. A bit disappointed overall and an obscure, cold, rather old-school way of doing business that I thought no longer existed.

What great service from Kia Boongate! I wasn’t expecting much after a bad experience from another Kia dealership however Boongate certainly restored my confidence in dealing with dealerships! The staff were friendly and professional over the phone and when I went in to drop my car off for its service. The waiting area was nice and they offered complementary coffee, juice, water and biscuits. I was particularly grateful for the lift to my destination of choice when I left my car for service and being picked up when my car was ready. Fantastic service as always, fitted me in last minute after breaking down along with also performing the usual health report provided by video - amazing feature! Communication has been brilliant with regular updates and a hire car provided under the Kia RAC breakdown cover. Ryan is an asset to this dealership and goes above and beyond to make sure you are kept in the loop. Only thing that has knocked a star off this review and soured the experience is the mechanic who pulled the car in to the workshop thinking its okay to unplug my dashcam (pig to reconnect) this left me with a dead dashcam that did not record after collecting the car meaning any accidents on the way home would not have been captured. I completely understand not wanting to be filmed in the workshop while working, but it should not have been left unplugged and should have been active on the test drives. They have never done this before when its gone in so I'm not sure why it was on this occasion. Other than this, the mechanics always leave the car in great condition and you would never know they had been there!

I want to share our wonderful experience at Kia Boongate recently. I feel it is very important in this day and age to take the time to write when we do receive exceptional service as everyone is quick to complain. We are mother and daughter who live next door, we share one another cars and it was time to change my Mums this time around. We had a lovely warm greeting with Charlie on reception and we quickly met James. It was a breath of fresh air to instantly be taken seriously that we were looking to buy a car. As mother and daughter shopping together this does not happen in all car showrooms! James listened to our requirements, our wish list and showed us exactly what we asked for. However people do buy people too and James was certainly part of the reason why we decided not to look at any more cars of similar requirements we had and purchased there and then. Took my car in for a service and MOT recently, parking was easy, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. I waited whilst the vehicle was worked on, and was kept updated the whole time. My car was given a wash and vac too which was a bonus especially this time of year! I Spoke to Darren in the sales team at the time about changing my car, he was very helpful, taking the time to show me all the different options available, and was not pushy like most salesmen. Went in Saturday to test drive another Kia Sportage and came away with a successful upgrade. The sales person in question is Tony who set me up with my first Sportage four years ago. I went to kia boongate and Tony from sales helped me choose a sportage, not pushy nor ott. Just a good knowledgable sales team selling a good product. In fact that good two years later I went into service my sportage and swapped it for a sorento. The service team are also on a equal par. Got a knock from clutch pedal took it to local kia they said its normal even though my local garage said something is wrong also getting engine knock under load even though its still under warranty.Very disappointed. I would like to praise the Service of Boongate Kia! There were several problems with buttons that stopped working and ISG never worked. After trying a solution with Kia in Braintree, Harlow and Cambridge and having heard something like 'not enough miles a day' (when doing about 30 miles a day) or 'we're going to have to charge £100+ to recharge the battery because it's the origin of the problems "... and when we asked Boongate Kia for an opinion, everything was solved, covered by the guarantee and the battery did not have any problem! They were extremely helpful and everything was easy to solve. Thank You!
