MOT and service for my 16 year old MX-5. Everything was good, my car was picked up in the morning and returned in the evening. All very satisfactory. My only problem is that when I use the window washer the smell of the liquid is overwhelming and awful (imagine onions, overcooked or a foul swamp). I called to inform them and was told that I was the first person ever to experience this. It seems that my mixture of water and washing-up liquid was topped up with the 'proper' fluid and that it reacted badly. I can remedy it but it is quite a disgusting smell.

My Mazda unexpectedly broke down while on our family holiday. This could have been a complete disaster, but we were fortunately recovered to Donalds Mazda Peterborough. Despite arriving at closing time, they diagnosed the fault, which required ordering a new part. In the interim they provided a curtsy car for the remainder of our holiday and organised a hire car for our return home. A big thank you to Paul Read, and Tom who were marvellous in delt with everything. Thank You.

Really pleased with my New Mazda 6 so far. Brad Forrest at Donald's Mazda in Peterborough has been helpful every step of the way. Moving from an Audi A6 Saloon for two PCP cycles in a row, I was concerned about moving to a different brand, but as soon as I test drove the Mazda 6 Saloon, I was won over. Lighter, more smooth steering, stylish, sleek design and the technology is just awesome. The adaptive digital display on the windscreen in front of the driver brings the future to the present. The driver assistance features are very smart also. Radar cruise control keeping you at an optional distance from the vehicle in front at the click of a button, and then when the path clears the car accelerates itself back to the cruise control speed. Hardly having to touch the pedals on the motorways. The communication centre is easy to use and simple to set up. There are some other really nice features too that pretty much come as standard. Amazing value for money. Overall, so far I am very impressed with the Sales Team and the product itself. I am yet to utilise the service department as I have only had the car for a short period of time, but am sure they will be just as professional. After 16 years it was time to say goodbye to my Mazda 3. Popped into Donalds on the off chance to see the new Mazda 3. Melvin showed us round the different options and answered all our questions, he then arranged a test drive for the next day. The test drive was really great, unaccompanied, but Melvin made sure I was happy with the controls before we left. Decided to buy so Melvin talked us through all the options - buying new or ex demo and helped with the trade in off my old car. When I went to drop off my car and pick up the new one it was very painless and Melvin was very helpful. Overall a great experience, very stress free (I am not good with cars so that was a real bonus), no pressure to buy anything extra and no hard sell and all my questions and concerns addressed! Bought a new Mazda here two weeks ago. The buying experience was handled very professionally and smoothly. As is the case with modern cars, the technology on a host of safety and navigation applications, as well as connectivity systems can leave you a bit overwhelmed. I visited Donald’s Mazda, Peterborough on Sunday 27th September. It had been a number of years since I had visited a car showroom and I was somewhat nervous and apprehensive, dare I say I was expecting to be intimidated by a stereotypical pushy car salesman. I needn’t have concerned myself. The initial phone contact was friendly and the face to face meeting (social distancing upheld) was a pleasant experience. The showroom was clean and bright with space around the cars and the vehicles touchpoints sanitised to be as Covid-19 safe as possible. When I asked many obvious and some unusual questions, Sam and his colleagues were all really helpful without being patronising. There was no hard sell, my questions were all answered by a knowledgeable gentleman, Sam, and anything he wasn’t sure of he double checked and confirmed back to me. I never imagined a car dealership would provide such a comfortable relaxed honest atmosphere, I’m pleased to say that I felt at ease and at no point did I feel intimidated. I was given time to look, touch, ask questions and go away to think without been put on the spot. Donald’s Mazda Peterborough have an excellent team giving customers a five star experience.

My wife and I would like to record how satisfied and impressed we have been by your staff, Wayne Cunnington and Sami Richards at your Donalds Garage in Stamford. Last year my wife’s Rover 75, registration AY 52 PZX, suffered severe storm damage when a roofing ridge tile was blown onto the windscreen and bonnet of her car. The car was still driveable but the bonnet was badly dented. I have been buying my cars from Sycamore (now Donalds) Garage in Stamford for thirty years and in March this year, Mr Cunnington and Ms Richards suggested that if we could get a new bonnet for the Rover, they would fit it. We quickly obtained a second-hand bonnet from a breaker but it was the wrong colour. Nevertheless Mr Cunnington nd Ms Richards arranged for it to be delivered to a respray specialist where it was painted black to match the Rover. They then arranged for the Rover to be taken to the respray yard where the ‘new’ bonnet was duly fitted. A very happy wife and I took delivery of the repainted bonnet/repaired car yesterday, 22 May and it looks as good as new. Mr Cunnignham and Ms Richards had no obligation to take on this repair of a Rover car, which caused them some considerable effort.
